ein Grandhotel auf 5 Sterne Niveau

Hier wird die Tradition der alten Grand Hotels auf höchstem Niveau umgesetzt, man fühlt sich in alte Zeiten zurückversetzt und kann trotzdem den Luxus eines fünf Sterne Hauses genießen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, die Betten sind äußerst bequem, alles tipptopp sauber, Schwimmbad und Wellnessbereich sind auf dem neuesten Stand, wir kommen gerne wieder 😄

Dream stay in a castle!

Gorgeous building, our junior suite was incredibly comfortable, had everything we needed and the quietest with my favourite decor. Staff was tremendously attentive and super friendly making my stay even better

All was perfect :)

Het ontbijt was super vers! Veel keuze

Service, voor een 5 sterren hotel was het personeel niet goed genoeg opgeleid om 5 sterren service te verlenen. Ontbijt service was er pas na het vragen. In de lobby bar duurde het erg lang om geholpen te worden.

Naja Nichts zu meckern außer die Jungen Damen von Social Media zerfressen, irgendwie nicht da Die einzige Wache ist ein Tom Boy Girl die sich rührend um meinen Jasmin Tee kümmert.

Schönes Ambiente und ruhige Atmosphäre

Wunderbar ruhige Atmosphäre und schönes Ambiente

Fehlende Erklärungen zu Frühstückszeiten, Wo ist was?, also eine Einführung zum Zurechtfinden in dem großen Gebäude. Es wurde lediglich ein QR-Code auf einem Zettel zugeschoben, den man scannen solle, um alles Wesentliche zu wissen. Natürlich kann ich das auch irgendwie alles selbst rausfinden, aber zu einem netten Empfang gehört das dazu, finde ich. Geäußerte Wünsche wurden nicht berücksichtigt oder vergessen (Tisch mit Bank im Restaurant, Vegetarierin, Nespresso Kapsel). Klar, auch das sind nur Kleinigkeiten und es ist nicht existentiell, aber eben schade.

Nice big castle

Spa was nice, We like our suite - was quite big. Beds was extremly comfortable , also pilows and blankets, really like you sleep in castle, it gave you hot feeling. So generally we liked our room. Breakfast also wasnt bad.

I was missing in 5* hotel that i arrive with my car in front main entrance and nobody come to help me with ludgage or show where is reception. This should be in 5* hotels automatically. Sometimes long wait for elevators. Breakfast - not bad , i didnt like coffe, But Its probably everywhere same in Germany. But what we didnt like was staff. There were young students, who propably were trained , just out of school,well i can understand, But i was waiting for everything long time, i was always calling them and searching them and also if they came they wasnt much able to help. Easily say they were incapable. And for me like client of 5* hotel was a bit disturbing. It was quite far from Koln - 30 min by car.

Beautiful and quiet surroundings for relaxing

The room was nice and clean ( very comfortable bed / pillow for good night sleep )Spa was also nice.

I didn’t like Bar restaurant . We had to wait for our food 3 hours and when it finally arrived to our table it was cold steak ( mine was also medium well not medium rare like I ordered) After sending back our food they made us new wagyu steak ( waiting time this time was 10 to 15 minutes) finished eating 22:25 - way to late .

Loved it, and would 100% recommend

The hotel is absolutely gorgeous. The beds are extremely comfortable, and the location is easily accessed even if you do not have a car. We loved our stay.

We had a weird experience the last night that was either electrical or supernatural. Either way, the hotel is not really responsible, but it was strange.

Fantastic stay in a royal setting

Fantastic stay in a great royal setting. Very quite area. Room was comfortable with a nice bathroom. Breakfast was luxurious with everything, but really everything you wish for. Loved our stay very much!

More expensive than what we are used to but it was a 50th-anniversary gift so it was a treat to myself :)

It was a birthday present for my mom, she wanted to go there for quite some time and it was great, but for my taste not

The hotel was great!

The junior suite was very small, the coffee machine in the suite didn’t work.

Slightly less modern than expected but castle-feeling and welcoming stay

The staff was very nice, the hotel is very spacious with a nice outdoor area, and they offer all kinds of services for the guests. They made bookings for us, helped us with questions and offered to bring us to our room. The room was great, slightly old appliances but comfortable, clean, spacious, nice lighting, quiet, comfy beds, pretty look.

The wifi hardly ever worked, especially not in our room on level 3. On Sundays, breakfast for hotel guests is until 11:00, and they make sure you leave at that time because the Champagne Brunch starts right after. So we were asked to leave at 11:15, despite having just ordered more drinks. Also, the SPA is a bit small, at least there usually aren't any spots available in the quiet areas because other guests reserve them in the mornings.

I like the bed and pillow. They are very comfortable. The staff in reception is very nice. The facilities are good. The interior of restaurants is good.
