We would not stay here again

As the hotel is in a superb of Bergisch Gladbach there is nothing else around such as bars & restaurants, as the hotel is so understaffed it was very hard to find a member of staff to even get a drink. There is a municipal pool within walking distance but no discounts for hotel guests Although the room stated double bed it wasn’t Also no lift or Air conditioning, not even a fan in the room, as the temperature was over 35 degrees we were disappointed as the cost per night does not merit the amount.

Romantik Waldhotel Mangold is a very interesting place to be and very well located.

The breakfast was very healthy, thus, superb

The carpet in one room needs to be replaced and there are no signs from the main road to direct guests when walking and not using GPS

Poor

Not much to say on the good side as we only staid there for a night and had a pretty packed up schedule. Facilities seemed nice and breakfast was ok.

We staid for a single night after a family christmas celebration. The heating system was not working and there was no hot water. We called reception many times and they were out. Some other guests told us the hot water was off for three days and nobody really seemed to care: "oh, it's holidays..."

Hi, this is Oktay. I stayed room number 1 at 21.10.2022 night . I forgot your key with me and back to Istanbul with your key. One of my friend will come to Istanbul at 1st week of November (wil lstay 2 weeks here). I will send your key back to you. Sorry to forget it with me

Nice Main Building and Lobby, Restaurant etc...

The Rooms are in a separate Building build in the 1960s I guess and the complete Building does not fit to the nice Main building, especially the interior.

Disappointing

The location is perfect for a forest walk. If you get the room in the main building you get the fantastic view and silence. Parking is free.

In the 2nd building cleaning starts at 7.30 and you can hear every move of the stuff. Super noisy and uncomfortable if you want to relax in the morning before the hard day. Also, the walls are so thin that you can hear the neighbors speaking. The restaurant on Sunday was closed.

Excellent hotel with excellent quality.

Ideal location near the forest which offers nice opportunities for leisure walks. Very friendly staff. Rooms were big, modern and very comfortable.

The TVs could have been bigger, but we were not there to watch TV.
