A lovely place in the center of Bologna.

I loved the room's decoration and practicality. It has a separate sitting corner with a small table and two benches, and it is very practical and clean. The bed is very comfortable, and the blinds blocking the light are genius.

The only minus is the thin walls; I could hear what was going on in the corridor and the room next door, especially if these guests did not keep their voices down,

Charming Historical Hotel in the very heart of the old town - quiet elegance.

Amazing location right on the Piazza Maggiore in the old town pedestrian zone. A very old historical building with great character, but all modern amenities. Quiet despite the very central location. Friendly and helpful staff.

I will have very happy memories of one of the finest Italian cities

It's a wonderful location under the eaves of San Petronio, but you would never guess inside the hotel that you were in the middle of a city. Everything is quiet, clean, and super comfortable, and the staff are very kind. Breakfast serves a sumptuous array of Bolognese cakes, including some Christmas specials, as well as local cold meats and cheeses.

Beautiful hotel right in the historic center of Bologna.

Location is excellent for sightseeing around historic center of Bologna. Breakfast has lots of variety and very good. Rooms are pleasent and a little different than "normal" hotels.

John Lennon “Imagine” lighted walkway outside the studio apt was a nice surprise!

We stayed in the annex/apartment, not the main building. Breakfast was in the main building but still close by and very convenient. Great location, very friendly/helpful staff and spacious room/studio.

Couldn’t contact hotel at 1O.00pm when lost in Bologna streets even though there was someone on reception when we eventually arrived. Small Room, smaller than others of same category.

Just incredible.

The location is unbelievably great. Within less than 5 minutes' walk, and mostly less than 2, are a wide range of high quality shops, caffe bars, restaurants, and an extensive, multi-street/multi-block open air market of all kinds of food along with extensive sidewalk seating with some tourists but far dominated by locals. Within the same distance are the Basilica di San Petronio, Bilbiloteca dell'Archiginnasio, and at least a dozen other important historical buildings and sites. And that is on top of being within 50 steps of Piazza Maggiore which is a wonderful, big plaza where people gather every day to relax and meet. Breakfast quality and selection are outstanding, so good we did not bother going outside to find better (which we often do even when breakfast is included). Beautifully and artfully remodeled, almost museum quality throughout. Outstanding rooms with all the necessary features. Just hard to find any fault whatsoever. One of the best places we've ever stayed.

Very nice location with orginal rooms. Breakfast could be better.

Location is perfect right next to the Piazza Maggiore. The decoration of the rooms is very original - very quaint but yet with all modern comfort

Breakfast was large in quantity but low in quality. The croissants tasted like they were not fresh and the fruit juice was some cheap supermarket juice from frozen powder despite it being standard in Italy to offer freshly squeezed juice for breakfast.

stunning and unique bedrooms and public areas, perfect location as central but quiet

nothing to dislike, we did have to change rooms after the 1st night as we were given double beds not twins but nothing else
