Good place to stay.

Riva de Garda is a important spot on the lake. The hotel is 20mn walking to the lake. Its has a parking, important thing in summer. The spa and outdoor swimming pool are a great surprise, as the restaurant in the garden when you arrive late at night. Breakfast is really good. People in reception really nice.

The room was mediocre. View on the route...but we stay only one night.

חדר נקי נוח וגדול. ארוחת בוקר מצוינת מבחר מגוון נקי מסודר וטרי(לצערנו לא אכלנו כי הבן שלנו הרגיש לא טוב) מלון מרווח וגדול. חניה מסודרת.

היינו צריכים לעזוב מוקדם כי הבן שלנו הלך למיון בבית החולים ולא יכלנו להנות מהשהות במלון

Het ontbijt, het zwembad en de tuin, de ligging en het fijne personeel

De kamer was minder mooi dan je verwacht voor deze prijs. Vooral klein bad/douche ruimte viel een klein beetje tegen.

Erholsamer Urlaub in schönem Ambiente

Das Hotel und die gesamte Anlage haben uns ausgesprochen gut gefallen. Die Lage des Hotels ist aus unserer Sicht ebenfalls sehr gut, nach einem kurzen Spaziergang (ca. 10 - 15 Minunten) ist man in der Altstadt. Auf dem Weg dorthin kommt man am Busbahnhof vorbei, was für mögliche Ausflüge praktisch sein kann. Die Mitarbeiter*innen im Hotel waren alle extrem freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstücksbuffet war phantastisch! Wir haben jederzeit einen Parkplatz am Hotel gefunden.

Eigentlich hat uns alles gefallen. Leider haben wir nicht mehr unsere Wunschzimmer buchen können, rechtzeitiges buchen ist aus unserer Sicht daher empfehlenswert. Unsere Zimmer waren sauber, aber von schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen.

Excellent Lake Garda Hotel.

Breakfast was good quality and a good selection. The Breakfast room was very nice with a nice outside seating area. The Swimming Pool are was really nice and the pool attendants were excellent and keeping it looking so neat and tidy. All in all a nice modern hotel of good standard.

There wasn't much to not like, If it was a little closer to town or the lake edge that would have been just perfect.

Tolles Früstücksbuffet und nettes Personal

Das Frühstücksbuffet war hervorragend! Es gab super viel Auswahl, Kaffeespezialitäten aus der Siebträgermaschine, Crêpe und Omelett nach Wunsch, Obst, eine Menge frische Süssbackwaren und viel mehr. Außerdem war es toll dass es recht viele kostenfreie Parkplätze gab. Der Aussenpool und die Gartenanlage waren auch schön (auch wenn wir sie aufgrund von Wetter nicht nutzen konnten). Außerdem waren die Betten sehr groß.

Wir haben eins der weniger „neuen“ Zimmer erwischt. Es hat letztendlich alles den Bildern entsprochen und gereicht, war aber weniger modern als vielleicht andere Zimmer (v.a. Das Bad). Die Dusche war etwas ungünstig konstruiert. Es war eine Badewanne mit nur sehr schmaler Schutztrennwand.

Enttäuschend

Der Garten mit Swimmingpool war sehr schön gepflegt und schön. Betten waren gut. Frühstück war gut.Parkplätze waren kostenlos auch in der Tiefgarage. Man konnte sich Fahrräder kostenlos ausleihen.

Das Hotel liegt neben einem Busbahnhof und an einer Hauptstr. Dadurch hatten wir ein Zimmer mit Blick auf den Busbahnhof. Die Zimmer sind zum Teil renovierungsbedürftig.Frühstück war reichhaltig, aber in einem riesen Raum, sehr ungemütlich. Spa war für meine Begriffe sehr klein und nichts Besonderes. WLAN funktionierte auch nicht richtig. Das Hotel war gut, aber unter einem 4 Sterne Resort Spa und den Bildern nach, habe ich mir etwas ganz anderes vorgestellt. Im Sommer ist es bestimmt schön mit dem Garten und dem Pool, aber im Herbst ziemlich enttäuschend.

Really enjoyed our short stay. The hotel is super clean and the staff are all excellent.

Pool, bar area, staff were super helpful. Gardens were lovely, breakfast was good. 😁

Shower above a bath!! Water on the floor every time we used it. 🙁. A hotel of this quality really should have a separate shower.

Decent choice of a hotel for a stay at beautiful Lago di Garda

Breakfast was surprisingly good, lots of choices, above average for this or similar type of hotel. Room was clean, fairly large bathroom, air conditioning was working fine. Staff was kind and helpful, very quick and easy check in/out.

Hotel bar/restaurant was a bit disappointing, we had dinner there one evening and it wasn't too good. Lots of better choices in the town. Also, service in the bar/restaurant was a bit slow and confused. Value for money for the hotel isn't great, although the hotel itself is quite OK, it was rather expensive (we stayed in late June).

A lovely stay in the Astoria, made special by all the friendly helpful staff.

Wonderful breakfast. Masses of good quality food and huge variety. All the waiters were excellent. Special thanks to Alex and Samood. A great team in the bar and all restaurants. Always smiling, no matter how busy. Worth a mention, the beautiful gardens and swimming pool.

NO AIR CONDITIONING! not what is advertised

We enjoyed the spa and the spa treatments. The main building is lovely and the child’s program was also cute. The staff were always friendly.

(FYI-before we showed up-We booked an extra night directly with hotel after we realized their spa appointments were booked up until later than check out time.) When we arrived were given a room that was equivalent to a 2 star room. It felt like a military barracks building. Everything else on the property is nice but they shove reservations to a different location at the back of their property which is significantly lower quality and standards than what they advertise. We were definitely bait and switched. We did not get the toiletries, instead they bolted bottles to the wall. We didn’t have AC in the room which was advertised. Our only option was to open the windows without screens which means you get bit by mosquitoes ALL night. The bathrooms are not cleaned properly. We immediately saw hairs on the floor. The front desk did inform us that the second night was booked directly through them so we would be allowed to move to the building that is advertised. The entire reason we booked a second night is so we could enjoy the spa without having to fumble with our items that day. This property knows exactly what they are doing. This place SHOULD separately advertise their extra building in the back of the property with a completely different name. The hotel already knows how to structure that since they did it with a single luxury apartment that is also on the property.

Excellent overall and would recommend.

the staff were impeccable and extremely attentive. The room was comfortable if a little basic, but everything we needed was there.

Sold on the internet closer to the lake than it really is. Not that much of an issue to us but if you had mobility issues it could be a problem.

Lovely hotel with wellness and garden

The wellness area as well as the garden is beautiful. Breakfast was very good. We also loved the live music in the bar every evening.

The facilities, especially the bathroom, is old, but good taken care of. It tends to get very crowded in the parking garage and in the breakfast room.

food was pretty good and staff at the restaurant was fabulous great space for kids with plenty of games

they advertised a free minibar at the day of the arrival but it was empty even if we asked twice to fill it. to go the the internal swimming pool you need to book in advance and it was very hard to find a slot with kids. they tried to charge me for the half board that I prepaid

Exceptional

It is exceptionally good. The breakfast was amazing combining quality with variety. The service was outstanding and all the services provided where excellent. I would definitely recommend it for a family since it is a child friendly hotel. Finally i must add that it is a hotel that cares for the details.

Great relaxing time in Riva del Garda

It was a really warm welcoming, the room was as expected and the staff in general very helpful! The breakfast was amazing also.

I was told that the 2-hour spa slot runs from the beginning of your reserved slot, so if you're half an hour late, you can only stay for one and a half hours. That's ok, but it would have been great to have a little more time as our delayed arrival was not intentional.

Nice room, good location, friendly people.

Breakfast was mediocre, eggs terrible, pretty bad coffee for Italian standard. Outdoor pool very nice, indoor very hot, strange policy in who and when allowed to come in.

Relaxing stay with generous breakfast buffet and wellness

+ Excellent breakfast buffet, great wellness area with pool and sauna + glass of processo at check-in :) + amazing view from the balcony

- There were no nightstand lamps - Usage of disposable cups in the room and welness area is really wasteful and contradicts the sustainable image of the hotel. Also shower gels and soaps in small plastic bottles in the bathroom are not good for the environment. And providing new flip-flops for guests is nice but very wasteful.
