Excelente estadia

El desayuno que ofrece el hotel es muy variado, la habitación es muy amplia y confortable. La ubicación del hotel esta muy bien ubicado, cercano a lineas de metro y facil de comunicarse.

El check in no fue agil, nos dieron una habitación distinta a la que habiamos reservado. A los pocos minutos solucionaron el problema.

Wirklich sehr gutes Hotel!

Zimmer war sehr groß und geräumig und ruhig. Frühstück spielt alle Stücke. Lage: zwar nahe am Connaught Place, die direkte Nachbarschaft lädt aber nicht so sehr dazu ein zu Fuß unterwegs zu sein.

Een heerlijk verblijf!

Een heel prettig hotel waar je je echt welkom voelt. Ondanks dat het een erg groot hotel is, voelt het als een warme plek om te verblijven. Deze keer enkel gebruik gemaakt van het restaurant in de lobby. Dat is mij erg goed bevallen. Ontbijt is ook erg goed! Fijn personeel, die je voldoende aandacht geven zonder dat het opdringerig wordt.

Het bed vond ik wel erg hard..

Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt.

Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet mit eine großer Auswahl an Gerichten.

Leider war der Pool ziemlich kalt. Ca 21 Grad. Angeschrieben war er mit 28 Grad. Sie lassen immer so kaltes Wasser hinein.

A nice ambiance indeed, with courteous staff members who are quick to address customer concerns.

Breakfast was moderate, and the room (1929) was good except for the bed. The bed (mattress) is very old I believe, because when I go to bed, I drown in the bed, especially my back. Resulting in no good sleep, even can't move. It must be changed. The location is good and noiseless area near to connaught place.

Tres bon séjours dans hôtel bien placé avec toutes les commodités espérées

L’emplacement près de Connaught Place, le petit déjeuner, la piscine et la salle de sport.

La différence de prix de 10000 roupies entre la réservation et celui demandé lors du Check in. (J’avais bien précisé un enfant de 15 ans lors de la réservation. À l’arrivée, l’hôtel m’annonce qu’au dessus de 11 ans, c’est le prix adulte). De plus, j’avais bien réservé une chambre avec un lit double et une avec 2 lits simples pour les enfants de 15 et 19 ans or à l’arrivée, 2 chambres avec lits doubles nous ont été proposées.

Disappointing Service and Unresponsive Staff at The Lalit!

Hotel location is great, walking distance to CP, the Delhi metro network station/s and a short drive to the New Delhi railway station. The room was clean and decently maintained.

My short stay was marked by poor service and a complete lack of consideration for guests’ needs. Unfortunately, this experience has led me to decide against staying at any Lalit properties in the future.

An Average stay experience. Things definitely can be improved in the property.

The Breakfast on the first day at the main resturant was very good.

For the Breakfast on the second day, we were asked to go to Baluchi resturant on the second floor despite there was enough sitting space in the main resturant. We were told that everything is same in both resturant. However the quality of food and service was pathetic. We had a great experience on the first day at the main resturant but second day was very dissapointing. Also, the checkout process took too much process and was not impressive at all.

אני מבקר הרבה במלון הזה כי הוא נוח לי מבחינת מיקום, חייב לציין שהדבר הכי מדהים כאן זה הצוות - שפשוט נותן שירות נהדר. המלון אומנם מהוותיקים שיש אבל הוא מתוחזק נהדר, הכל פשוט עובד טוב. תמשיכו ככה ואני אמשיך להיות לקוח מאושר.

מענה טלפוני - המענה טוב אבל שואל שאלות במקום להבין את הרצון - אולי כי אני רגיל להבין ישירות מה באמת צריך. בכל מקרה ממש לא בעיה - המלון פשוט נהדר

Very good central hotel with good food

The breakfast menu was large and varied. The dinner menu was also quite large and we found the portions to be very generous. The bedrooms were spacious with good storage. The beds and pillows (in Delhi and at the Lalit in Chandigarh) were the most comfortable of my experience. Our room overlooked the front and the pool. The sound insulation in the room was excellent. The siting of the hotel can't be faulted; Bengali Market, Shankar Market and Connaught Place are less than 12 min walk away. WiFi was included in our deal and it was good.

Good location and service at an expensive price

Location is great and their rooftop restaurant is also amazing. The staff is also helpful.

The rooms have aged and could see that it needs to remove rusted metal/wooden pieces. There was no iron in the room.

Mismanaged. Was good once upon a time.

Restaurants serve good food, especially Baluchi. Interiors are clean and luxurious but little dated now. Close to India Gate, Pragati Maidan etc.

Except some employees most others are quite inefficient. Had to wait 30-45 minutes at the airport to be picked up even after ordering their pickup service. Check out lines are unbelievable it can take 15-25 minutes to make your check out! Shower water pressure is low.

Kinda old. The other lift is too shaky when coming up and down.. The receptionist doesn’t smile at all.. they are not welcoming.. The foot end pillow is so dirty with a lot of stain.. don’t know why they put it there?

We absolutely loved every minute of our stay at The Lalit and would want to go back.

Everything right from the time we arrived went so well at The Lalit. The rooms were nice with a view of the city.

Good, but quality does not match price

Cleanliness and wide range of facilities (gym, restaurant, etc.). Good breakfast. A very good base for exploring Delhi.

Overpriced restaurant, slow and bad service, respectful yet unfriendly staff, drinking water is supplied but not refilled enough.

Expected better room from Lalit

Food was good.

The room facilities wouldnt work as expected. The flush would keep on going till someone comes to fix it. It happened twice.

Everything or, will investigate the GST and CST issue with the right sources

Staff was very polite and helpful.

1) there was nothing in the mini bar 2) it has been posted on YouTube by other people also that Lalit is charging GST and CST for the restaurant food. A goverment complaint number is also provided for the same. We wanted to see if we were charged GST and CST by the restaurant. Yes we were also charged the same. Will look into this futher. 3) I had to ask for the hotel stay bill. Or else I they did not give by default.

Nice stay with bad coffee experience

Fast check-in & check out experience. Every Employee was Polite and nice in interaction.

Room dine-in service was extremely slow. Cold coffee didn't taste like coffee. I am caffein person and i never had such bad cold coffee.

I had an exceptional stay at the hotel! The service was impeccable, from the friendly staff who greeted me at check-in to the attentive housekeeping throughout my stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and beautifully appointed. The dining options were diverse and delicious, catering to various tastes. The staff went above and beyond to ensure all my needs were met. I couldn't have asked for a better experience and I'm looking forward to my next visit. I would like to personally thank Nitilca, Himanslu, Aman, Biya, Jshaan to making this service and stay at the hotel possible. Remarkable staff workers.

We booked a transfer from the airport because we arrived in Delhi after midnight with a kid but there was no one waiting for us at the airport. We had to wander in the airport for almost 2 hours, were bothered by almost all the taxis of the airport and had to call the hotel 7 times before someone showed up... They invoiced us half of the amount (still more than twice the regular taxi price) but this remains unacceptable from a hotel claiming 5 stars
