I had to leave prior to breakfast being served.

I couldn't get to my car as the gates were locked at the time I needed to leave. Frustrating as it made me very late for a business appointment. Particularly annoying as I had explained that I had to be away by 6.30am.

Perfect English pub/inn

Clean, comfy, cozy, nice big bathroom and shower/tub, all amenities, quiet, easy check-in/check-out, responsive staff, attractive venue. Super breakfast in charming garden-room, nice pub. Lovely garden w/table service. Good, easy, safe, free parking. Lovely village. Big comfy bed. Authentic English village atmosphete. Pleasant helpful staff.

Be sure to get a detailed, on-site, in-person tutorial on how to operate the weird fixture that regulates the water flow in the shower/tub. No iron.

The bathroom was small and not a great standard compared to the room and the rest of the hotel. The water was hot and cold for example

We would not recommend or go back

the bedroom was as expected. Location for touring good.

The staff in general were friendly only to the degree they needed to be. Breakfast when i asked for just the bacon and tomato i got 2 streaky rashers and half a tomato. Restaurant booked for second night table by log fire. arrived no fire. Why? we have run out of kindling - what a joke. same again next night when we looked in. We wanted to go 2 nights but were told same menu. 4/5 starters and 4/5 mains only so went to the pub. more i could say but ...Sorry to say a very disappointing stay.

Beautiful place to relax and enjoy Beaminster

Very comfortable and stylish room with huge bath. The staff could not have been more friendly and hospitable.

Pleasant base for attending a wedding.

Great evening meal and breakfast. The hotel is well positioned for exploring the area.

Car park got congested and some thoughtless behaviour from guests.

Very enjoyable stay.

Excellent dinner in restaurant and cooked to order breakfasts. Covid measures created a safe environment and staff were both friendly and helpful.

Some guests could be more thoughtful when parking.
