Being a historical sort of the place, the rooms are small in footprint, but feel large due to the high roofs. Very quiet compared to some places I have stayed; double glazed windows are a nice touch. Very homely feel. The free parking (when available) is a nice touch. Excellent value for a business traveler that just wants some peace. Wifi worked well. 24hr front desk makes it easy for those arriving out of normal motel/hotel hours.

I didn't realise the room was so tiny when I booked it.

Staff were very helpful. Showers hot and strong - in house shower gel was better than anything one could bring oneself! A short stay but a great stay!

Nothing bad to say about the place. It is great value for the money: for a lower cost place it has a fantastic location, is very well maintained and clean.

Beds were comfortable.

Very small room with two double beds (albeit comfortable) and no room for any other furniture eg. chairs, table or desk. Worst aspect was the tiny bathroom with access by 150 - 200mm high step. Shower was accessed by another 300mm high step. Utterly unsuitable, and dangerous for anyone let alone someone with a physical impairment - My husband fell getting into the shower grazing his arm and bruising the side of his head. Reserved parking was too expensive and access to the rooms from the park was via labyrinthine corridors. An upgrade to the hotel is way overdue.
