Una buena estancia en Salé, con algunas mejoras.

-El personal que atiende el hotel es muy atento y servicial. Nosotros destacamos a la propietaria, que nos explicó qué visitar en la ciudad y nos enseñó el riad el primer día. No podemos olvidarnos de Youssef, que aunque es callado, está extremadamente atento a los huéspedes: corría a encendernos las luces de la escalera y la terraza cuando nos escuchaba subir, nos atendía para el desayuno inmediatamente, y nos llevó a un sitio para cenar el primer día. Un servicio 10. -Hacen las camas a diario y nos trajeron toallas limpias cada día. -Nos encantó la estantería de la habitación en la que pudimos colocar todas nuestras cosas. -La ducha tiene mampara y está bastante limpia. Nos repusieron el jabón de manos cada día, y siempre teníamos papel higiénico de sobra. -La terraza, especialmente de noche, es todo un lujo. Tiene plantas, sillas, mesas y sofás y la calma que se respira allí está genial después de un día intenso. -El alojamiento está a 3 minutos caminando de Bab Chaffa, donde es fácil encontrar taxis que llevan al centro de Rabat y también coger taxis para trasladarse a otros puntos de Salé. -Al salir del alojamiento hay comercios donde es posible comprar todo lo que se necesite, como agua embotellada, pañuelos, desodorante...

-En la página, indica que se habla árabe, inglés y francés. Sin embargo, la recepción la realiza la propietaria, que habla francés y árabe. Nosotros no tuvimos problemas, pero puede suponer una barrera para futuros clientes. Es fácilmente solucionable, porque el alojamiento cuenta con trabajadores que hablan inglés y es cuestión de preguntar al cliente en qué idioma prefiere ser atendido. -El alojamiento debe ser más preciso a la hora de cobrar la tasa turística. Nos cobraron 3€ por persona y noche, y lo convirtieron al equivalente en dirham (DH), cuando la normativa marca 30 DH, según el propio ayuntamiento de Salé: https://fr.villedesale.ma/taxe-de-sejour/ -Faltan enchufes en la habitación. La propietaria nos proporcionó una regleta de enchufes, pero algunos no funcionaban. Ampliar el número de enchufes en la habitación no sería demasiado caro. -Para la ducha, echamos en falta un buen dispensador de pared para el gel y otro para el champú, para ir rellenando. -El inodoro se mueve mucho, porque no está fijo al suelo. Se agradecería fijarlo con cola o con sus propios anclajes. También se debe revisar por qué motivo pierde agua. -Se debe revisar el lavabo, que pierde agua detrás, y el grifo salpica, quizá debido a que el filtro ha acumulado mucha cal y necesita un cambio. -Se necesitaría aumentar la cantidad de ventiladores por habitación y poner un deshumidificador. Hacía mucho calor y humedad. -El desayuno, como dicen otros clientes, es abundante y agradecemos que esté incluido. Sin embargo, está compuesto de mucha bollería, fritos y azúcares, lo cual no lo hace muy saludable. Marruecos es famoso por su gran variedad de pan, aceite de oliva virgen extra y fruta, totalmente ausentes. No costaría mucho ofrecer cada día un tipo de pan local de buena calidad, con un buen aceite de oliva virgen extra de la zona, tomate y fruta local de temporada (teniendo cuidado del origen, cómo y dónde se conserva, y con qué agua se ha lavado).

Great place in Sale-Rabat

We had a comfortable short stay in Riad Dar Nawfal. The rooms were very cosy, dinner and breakfast - superb. The lady, welcoming us, was extremely helpful and very friendly. She recommended us a beach which was perfect.

Finding parking was tricky.

Disappointing

The room was pretty clean and it looks like a traditional riad room. The location was in old town which was a good place to walk.

The breakfast was completely terrible. They gave us only some jams, butter and only bread. The staff couldn’t speak English so we couldn’t ask for anything. The place is definitely not worth the money we paid.

Beautiful and quiet riad

Beautiful and quiet riad in the center of Salé. Very clean with a good breakfast (also for vegetarians) on the spacious terrace. We had a room with two single rooms. We could also leave our luggage and pick it up later.

Rooftop terrace was beautiful. The rooms are stunning, as is the Riad. Our host was very friendly, giving us some great tips that made our stay special. Aircon a bonus!

I wish all Moroccan hotels were like this! 😃

Great location, clean rooms, excellent design and definite Moroccan feel. Everything was high quality. The breakfast was tasty local pancakes and buns with home made jams and butter, as well as traditional mint tea and coffee.

Beware of the self-proclaimed “friends of the owner” and “guides” willing to show you the way to the hotel from the parking lot. Pushy and rude. They have nothing to do with the riad.
