Une belle deception, malgres une apparence surfaite.

Le resort se veut charmant, verdoyant, authentique, avec un restaurant bar et live musique, piscine. Le petit dejeuner etait excellent.

Un peu vieux, le resort pourrait avoir un peu plus de fraicheur. Le personnel qui semblait si acceuillant a notre arrivée, s'est pourtant ensuite montré decevant. Tout semble etre parfaitement organisé pourtant (location possible de velo, etc) mais paradoxalement, que ce soit au restaurant ou a l'acceuil, le personnel semble manquer de formation, service tres lent, personnel tres bruyant dans les couloirs au petit matin, draps sales, la salle de fitness avait des toiles d'araignées partout, le seche cheveux ne marchait pas bien impossible de se secher les cheveux.. et j'en passe. ne merite pas 5 etoiles, 4 au maximum. Mettre des velos en location, avoir une salle de sport poussiereuse, et une piscine, ne devrait pas permettre d'acheter les etoiles.

Un hotel qui vaut le coup que pour sa piscine

La piscine est tres belle avec une vue dégager sur les rivières

La musique a fond au bord de la piscine ne rend ce moment agréable. Le repas est un buffet et il n a rien avoir avec la nourriture du sri lanka . Nous avions réservé a une villa supérieure nous avons du assister a la reception pour accéder a cette chambre

La struttura ha tutto un potenziale per essere un resort di buon livello.

Coloro che puliscono la camera avevano lasciato la finestra aperta (siamo in mezzo alla foresta) facendo entrare dei gechi. In bagno abbiamo trovato una blatta, che leggendo dai commenti precedenti ho visto che non sono stato il primo. Da una struttura a 5 stelle non mi aspetto la tendina di plastica in doccia, non mi aspetto cibo così dozzinale, non mi aspetto una struttura così poco curata. Il minibar era tutto ingiallito al suo interno.

Era tranquilo y podias relajarte en sus instalaciones

Pretendenser un resort pero si coges una villa no merece la pena el precio La puerta del baño no cerraba habia una gotera enorme en la terraza la bañera estaba mal instalada y no se podia llenar la nevera no enfriaba todo esto por 170 euros la noche Villa 212

momentan wenn man reinkommt, denkt man sich: Wow! wie schön! Aber das ändert sich rasch.

Nichts. Das Badezimmer hat nach verfaultem Wasser gestunken. Alles ranzig und abgewohnt. Die Badewanne war kaputt. Die Dusche mitten im Badezimmer. Alles naß. Schmutzige Bettwäsche. Abendessen war das Curry gut. Die Bedienung hat nichts verstanden. Wir hatten sogar a la carte gegessen.

Amazing hotel, beautiful territory and really big swimming pool

It's out third time in this hotel in August'23, and our third room had dirty refrigerator (old one, different than in another rooms) and air conditioning, smells like used pampers 🤢

Amazing hotel with beautiful swimming pool

Massage experience was mostly bad. Only lockal therapist with strong gender rules: man for man, women for women. Quality was second-rate, but price even bigger than in excellent Ceylon Spa.

Amazing hotel, but personal not so care about guests

Amazing hotel, one of the best in Sri Lanka ❤️Modern, clean, beautiful. Beautiful area inside. Tasty buffet dinner for 3800 LKR / person. Really long and clean swimming pool.

Personal on the reception unfortunately forget everything what we asked for 😞 Looks like they don't care at all about what kind of impression will be for guests. When we arrive, hotel personal broke our bag, and reception do nothing (!) to repair it, just laugh for our request. Bed sheets was dirty, because nobody change it after previous guests 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

Very good

Staff were excellent especially Nishanta at the restaurant and the reception staff. Friendly, efficient and polite. Room was clean, spacious and had a nice view of the gardens. Breakfast (and the view over the pool) was lovely. The resort is very serene and peaceful.

No body wash available in the shower, food at the restaurant for lunch and dinner could be better - french fries overdone, cabbage curry very spicy.

Food was average and expensive. However no restaurants around so had no choice but to eat there.

We had a pleasent stay at this Resort, the pictures and description perfectly shows what the place is: a quiet retreat with a huge garden, large pool and great view over a rice field, which gives you the feeling to be away from the sometimes noisy and busy roads in Sri Lanka. This means the location is also a bit away from Dambulla main area and it's restaurants. But I think you can't have both... Staff is always very friendly and polite. Breakfast buffet is rich and has some Sri Lankan dishes, but more western style. Room was clean and spacious, with everything you need. We would recommend!

No good coffee, and we would've loved to see vegan milk alternatives

Fabulous place to stay 10/10

the nicest place we stayed in Sri Lanka. Lovely resort and exceptional staff. we also dined here as a lot of the garden produce is gown on the resort grounds. A truely lovely place to stay. And the pillows were soooo comfortable too.

Truly wonderful

Wonderful place. Perfect scenery and location to explore the golden triangle. In the middle of mango trees and rice paddies. Real jungle vibes. Staff is great, true 5*. Great restaurant with high quality food. Rooms great as well. I would absolutely recommend.

Nothing really. You can see this hotel is having hard times because of the crisis and covid. They are desperately missing tourists. The rooms need a little attention, same for the lobby. But, you can see and feel the greatness. Go for it and enjoy!

Its very close to dambulla cave temple and sigriya (18KMs) Staff is very responsive and quick

Not at all a 4star hotel- rooms are pretty old, haven't gone through proper maintenance for ages. The proper is in the middle of a farm like atmosphere, but inside of the room is pretty ordinary or bad. Even the switch boards take you back to the 80s... Breakfast options are OK for non-vegetarians and very less options for vegetarians Would not recommend

I loved every single aspect of this resort. Amazing grounds, the friendliest staff you can imagine, large rooms!

The only thing I would comment is that they need some improvement in their food menu.

Amazing entrance, full nature, very good and clean outside resort Staff was nice. This is best of Dambulla.

Restaurant food wasnt good,and it is expensive ,breakfast as well- very bad. It has to Be much better for 5* hotel.Furthermore, rooms cleanless has to be better.

This was the one of the best hotels I’ve been too.

What a iconic hotel. It definitely gives you a resort feeling. The views out onto the rice fields were amazing. And You can have a nice swim as the pool is good length. For the price we paid, we couldn’t ask for more.

I don’t have a bad thing to say.

a night to remember

the food was ok and staff very friendly

the power was down and we didn’t have air con in the room for many hours. very unhealthy when we have 2!kids 11 yrs old and 2 yrs old . there was no buffet because we were the only customer at this hotel.
