rustig en goed

De rust en het zwembad. Het was het enige zwembad dat ik in Sri Lanka tegenkwam waar je ‘baantjes kunt trekken’.

Voor ons geen probleen (want hadden onze eigen tuktuk) maar het is wel ver afgelegen van de restaurantjes in de buurt. Gelukkig kun je daar ook dineren. Geen super keuken maar wel lekker.

Super Preis - Leistungsverhältnis.

Sehr gute Lage, super zum entspannen nach den Ausflügen. Pool sehr gepflegt und der Poolmitarbeiter besonders herzlich. Das Essen (Curry) war super lecker. Morgens habe ich anstelle des klassischen Continental Frühstücks direkt einen Pancake angeboten bekommen, als der Besitzer rausfand, dass ich kein Fleisch esse. Sehr aufmerksam.

Das Badezimmer könnte sauberer sein, der Rest des Zimmers war allerdings super!

Très propre, salle de bain tb, literie parfaite, chambre climatisée Superbe piscine Propriété très bien entretenue Personnel très gentil (mention spéciale à Emilio service irréprochable), propose activité à bon prix et propose transfert en ville facilement

Un peu excentre, pas possible de se rendre à ville a pied mais c’est ce qui fait le calme de l’établissement

Calm and restful stay

Gorgeous room and a nice pool. The staff are very friendly and attentive. There is a good view of Sigiriya from the hotel as well and lots of impressive wildlife around which can be spotted from the grounds

Highly recommended for a good sleep and early wake-up to see sunrise from the rock of Sigiriya.

A very peacefull place in the middle of a jungle. Good for a short break and climing a rock (guided if you wish) early in the morning to see the sunrise. Clean and comfortabel rooms. Dive into the pool and enjoy lunch, diner any time. Staff are all very friendly.

Quiet and calm place in nature

Great place to stay to do safari or lion rock climb . A calm oasis with wildlife all around the property . Staff are great and the pool is a welcome cool down when it gets too hot . Food was also very good from the restaurant

The internet was intermittent In some places. But they were aware of it and said they were waiting on an engineer to come out to fix it

great location and price. Staff very helpful. we didn’t climb lions rock but you can easily get there from this hotel. We climbed the other rock that has a great view of lions rock for a fraction of the price. Good breakfast, nice room and pools. perfect for a couple of days or more

Quiet area where you can relaxe. Good breakfast but nithing special. Restaurant for dinner was average.

Stale smell in the rooms was quite intense and impacted the feeling of the whole stay. If it was for better food (warm if brought in) and fresh rooms the rating would move into 8 or 9. The place has good potential.

Clean, comfortable and friendly with jungle all around.

I've come to love Sri Lankan breakfasts as served here with its unique curry and spices. Large well maintained pool. Birds all around. Each place has it's own wildlife theme.

I was surprised I needed to pay cash when I checked out. Also, there was no room service on our 2 night stay and the staff I spoke to apparently didn't understand my request in English for more coffee and clean towels.

Exceptional

We were the only guests in the hotel due to the fuel crisis in the country. Anyway, the stay was great - the room is spacy, the pool is perfect, and the location is very near to Sigiriya and all the national parks. The staff was very helpful.

7 nights stay awesome staff: very kind and professional! great food good wifi for the area clean area with daily leave collection & very good room service. great room with lots of space to do lanes

a bit isolated, we would of appreciated to have available bicycle to reach different locations in Sigiriya (the property does offer driver services to accommodate for that issue)

A lovely stay with good facilities

Everything was lovely. Nice room, with good facilities. The pool man was very helpful. It is a little bit outside of the town, so own transport is advisable. The pool area was great for relaxation.

There was a bit of a mouldy smell in the room from dampness in the bathroom.

Rooms are big and clean. AC works very well. The pool was perfect after a long tiring day. Owner is very nice and looks after everyone.

Not a fan of the restaunt. Long waiting times and mediocre flood.

This place is awesome! Beautiful garden, nice swimming pool, animals. Staff is the best staff ever! We feel at home with mom. They are very kind and caring! This hotel is the best in Sri Lanka. Be aware with monkeys them sometimes coming and acting like bandits :)

Great start for our vacation in Sri Lanka

The location is perfect, so much vegetation. The staff was very nice and accommodating. We arrived directly from our long flight, early in the morning and the staff arranged for us to rest in another room until we were able to check in.

Amazing place to stay

Extraordinary surrounding in beautiful garden allowing to see beautiful nature and animals like warans and giant flying squirrels. Very nice pool with amazing pool service. Very good buffet breakfast also with local dishes but during our stay one day was served one and it was not so good. Drivers quaters available for free. We loved it! Greetings for all Staff!
