Superb Riad on quiet street

One of the best Riads we stayed in during our entire 2 weeks in Morocco. Fantastic view of the wall and sea from the roof. Have an excellent breakfast there or in the beautiful salon. Excellent recommendations. Quiet street with fine restaurants but near the harbor and main streets.

A perfect stay in beautiful Essaouira!

We loved our stay at Dar Adul. Mary is a delightful host and everyone makes you feel welcome. We booked the sea view room on the top floor which was lovely and we enjoyed the outdoor spaces and sea views. Essaouira is a gem and if we returned we would definitely stay here again.

The perfect balance of luxury and feeling at home

- The entire staff was extremely kind and helpful - the design and decor of the riad is stunning; super high ceilings and great light - the room was massssive; everything was clean and on point - strong wifi internet in my room; I could have worked remotely if needed - the view from the roof is epic; nearly oceanfront - perfect location; away from the noise of the loud crazy streets, but still a short walk away - breakfast was lovely and accommodating - would 1000% recommend this place to anyone

Absolutely exemplary

The staff here at Dar Adul are among the friendliest, most helpful and most dedicated I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Nothing seemed too much trouble for the team. Our room was extremely comfortable, and the riad itself is located in arguably the best part of town. Breakfast was reliable and filling, and the terrace on the roof is stunning.

Bei meiner Rundreise durch Marokko war dies meine beste Unterkunft. Sauber , geschmackvoll eingerichtet und sehr gute Lage in der Altstadt. Die Bilder täuschen nicht. Alles Bestens, kann ich nur weiterempfehlen.

Super déco pour ce riad au milieu de la médina Très bien placé pour tout faire à pieds. Super petit resto juste en face très sympa, très accueillant !... Personnel très gentil et avenant. Très bon petit déjeuner copieux sur une terrasse avec vue magnifique sur les remparts et la mer.

Magnifique riad standing peu cher

L’accueil de la propriétaire et du personnel très serviables. La localisation près des remparts et la vue sur mer du toit terrasse. La décoration artistique et très jolie du riad. Les petits salons cosy. Le rapport qualité -prix excellent pour le standing élevé du riad et peu cher pour une famille de 4. Même lors de notre départ tôt le matin, on nous a préparé un petit déjeuner.

S’il faut dire quelque chose : peut être ajouter de quoi suspendre les vêtements. La salle d’eau humide. Mais ça ne gâche en rien le séjour. Allez-y ! Vous ne le regretterez pas!

La gentillesse de Tarik et la dame du ménage et petit déjeuner. L'emplacement parfait pour être au chœur de la médina

Nous aurions aimé être prévenus que le riad était en travaux. Dès le matin et toute la journée le bruit du marteau, des scies ou perceuses, les peintres, la poussière partout...le petit déjeuner sur la seule table installée avec la nappe et les sièges pleins de poussière... J'ai beaucoup toussé à cause de la poussière, à cause de problèmes de santé. Donc j'aurais aimé être prévenue. Il aurait été plus agréable de louer les chambres une fois tous les travaux finis...

A beautifully decorated Riad with very comfortable, spacious rooms

The decoration of this Riad is stunning. We loved all the pictures, sculptures and furniture. It was great to have a roof terrace so close to the sea. Our room was very comfortable and spacious and we enjoyed our breakfast.

Fantastic stylish spacious spot with lovely staff

Rooms extremely spacious and beautifully decorated. Great art displayed in the riad. Lovely open area to chill out in . Staff very friendly and great breakfast included. Such good value and very stylish . Inspired by the decor! Nice Rooftop with views of the sea to chill out at the end of the day. The riad looks unassuming outside but when you step in it’s stunning. There are some lovely restaurants in the street. Owner also kindly organised airport transfer for us. So helpful. Will return!

The breakfast and the place was fantastic and all staff were very lovely, but there was no towel rail nor did we get any soap although listing said and we have even asked… on the other hand they were helping us with transfer and restaurant recommendation. The owner is an artist with also a cafe and a gallery in town. Very near to all sights and a good choice! Will come again!

Excellent location, tastefully furnished . Breakfasts were very good and we were well looked after by Amina.A choice of roof terraces with a great sea view , perfect for watching the sunset .

Security was sometimes a problem , as it was easy to get into the main door of the riad and windows to the rooms needed to be left open for ventilation .

Atmospheric and good value accommodation.

A very attractive Dar located within the walls and close to everything. Two excellent restaurants located 30 or 40 metres from the accommodation. Lovely rooftop terrace (although a little ramshackle) which looks out over the ramparts to the sea. Pleasant and filling breakfast made up of pastries and preserves. No English spoken, so brush up on your French!
