Best place to stay at Grindelwald

The staffs are excellent & extremely friendly. The apartment is very clean per my fussy 76-year-old standard. The space is just nice for our family of 5. I'll definitely stay here again.

Only 1 washer & dryer each, can offer more washer & dryer facilities, especially during the evening when most are back from day tours & and do laundry in the evening.

Perfect place to enjoy the beauty of the Alps and relaxing wellness services

I stayed at Eiger Selfness Hotel for 5 nights and I had a wonderful time. The hotel is centrally located in a beautiful spot, with a view of the mountains. The staff were friendly and helpful, and they made me feel welcome and comfortable. One of the highlights of my stay was the daily sauna, which was available for the guests. It was a great way to unwind and rejuvenate after a day of hiking. Another thing I loved was the afternoon tea, which was a delight. There were also many small little things that made my stay wonderful.

A Modern hotel in Grindelwalden.

The location and the view were excellent. The staff was very professional to pay attentions to the guests' needs. The hotel spa was good, too.

It was under the hotel renovation and it was noisy in the morning and there was no electricity between midnight and 6 am. I got this information after I booked the room.

I would recommend this motel.

The property was central, right in the heart of Grindelwald. The room was big and had a verandah with a beautiful view. Very clean. Coffee making facilities and an oven. The motel has a washing machine and dryer. Coffee and cake included in price every afternoon 3 -5pm was was excellent. It was quiet. The gym was large.

Great location, very beautiful view from balcony. Kids were enjoying 2 level bed.

We got different apartment compared with what we booked via booking.com. We got original after discussing this case on reception and after additional arrangements. So it seems original apat was planned for someone else which was not good. When came to breakfast, there were a lot of flies(fly) which constantly was trying to eat your food instead of you..

Superb

The location was perfect, short walk to supermarket, First cable car station and the train station. The staff was very friendly and provided substantial help in arranging tickets and providing information(special thanks to Jana and the gentleman(possibly the manager?) in the afternoon).

There is no AC, which worked out fine for us but may be noted when you book it

Very good

All the staff were really friendly. The location is central to town and easy walking distance to the First chairlift. Coffee and cake in the afternoon is a nice touch.

The shower ran out of hot water every day. The apartment was a little run down in general, but nothing major. It's Switzerland so the price is really expensive. We were a bit disappointed with the view as well, it was probably the worst room in the hotel for view. Luckily the weather was good so we didn't have to be in it much.

Superb

The staff, the hospitality, the house keeping, the breakfast, the location.

Nothing in particular and definitely not to detract from the whole experience but our bathroom door got stuck and caused a moment of panic. Also in our part of the world we are used to firmer beds.

We love the Eiger Selfness 👍🏻🇨🇭

The staff were wonderfully helpful and friendly. The accommodation was homely and very good location. I LOVED the selfness centre and used the saunas, kneipp pool and steam room every day. Highly recommended 👌

VERY GREAT STAYY! love it!

REALLY ENJOY MY STAY HERE!!! the scenery was exceptional! all of the staf was very friendly and helpful! they also provide with a free shuttle from the nearest train (grindelwald), and it was very helpful for us with a big luggage, they even brought it to our room as well while we're still check in. i love everythingg, there's no complain at all, would recommend this to everyone that want to come to grindelwald! thankkk youuuu!!

Great stay, enjoy the facilities and 4 out of 5 for ratings. Definitely will come here again.

There was a van pick up us at the station and pleasant welcome. The checking in process was great with the help of the staff which really outstanding. The room as in the pictures, very clean and comfortable. Our stay very enjoyable with stunning view and snow.

Overall was great but some staffs not friendly maybe can’t speak English.

pure selflness in a very great hotel with great staff

the location was great. bus stop very close. hotel facilities were excellent. the sauna and spa area amazing. the fitness area great. complimentary coffee, tea and cake in the afternoon a welcoming treat. staff very friendly and accommodating. shuttle service to the train station. fitness classes free of charge for guests.

the Appartement could be newer / renovated. more guest lounge areas would be cool for just hanging around without the need to purchase food or drinks.

Winter wonderland 2 night stay!

The staff was amazing! Both hospitable and friendly. Loved the spa, how the hotel keeps up to date and treats their staff. And the homemade iced tea was yummy.

The small apartment reads as if there are 2 separate rooms but the king bed space is the living room kitchen. An idea, a privacy curtain between kitchen and bath. Also suggest refill of coffee pods pretty please. It was hard to find that specific size which was bigger than Nespresso.

Switzerland was so beautiful and we regret booking this hotel which have bad blocked views considering all the other hot

It is near to the train station

Entrance was further far in, uphill and hard to move with large luggages. Need to take stairs to keep luggages in storage room. Room was too dim, was told every room had great views but I see that most rooms had blocked views which sucks as most properties in Grindelwald seem to have awesome views.

Friendly and accommodating staff, easy checkin, good apartment in a good setting with scenic views, close to supermarkets, restaurants and bus stop, railway station and Grindelwald-First Gondola.

The room is very clean. It is suitable for family that has independent room, kitchen and balcony. Pickup service is great and also send luggage to grindelwald station for us. The attendants were very kind and prepared champagne to us(cuz we are honeymoon) Thank for your service! And we had a wonderful memory in Grindelwald！

Very good

We stayed in a studio and very comfortable with a balcony. Kitchen with sufficient utensils. Hotel provides pick up and drop off arrive to train station.

Decent apartments in a beautiful village.

Nice, clean apartments with a lovely spa. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Restaurant was great and a good price.

There was construction 2 doors down from our room that started at 07:15 and was loud. The plugs were very limited and in weird locations. We left before the staff arrived and the front doors were locked and no one could tell us how to get out.
