Will return and it’s the best breakfast in the lakes.

Brilliant!

Very quirky decor but sleek and modern at the same time, really enjoyed the vibe! Staff were superb, there was a little mix up with a table reservation but they went above and beyond to accommodate us and were brilliant. As a result, we have already planned to return for a meal with other family members later in the year to show them this place. The food was fantastic, and every one of our party of 16 thought the same for dinner. Lovely hotel rooms, just top class service throughout.

Very good venue, excellent food, gorgeous location.

We loved the funky decor. Each room had amazing murals and the most comfortable couches. The Garden had a lovely view of lake Windermere and comfortable seating. The food was excellent too. Breakfast was exceptional. Our bed was perfect.

Because I don't sleep well I wasn't too happy about being woken up around 7am by someone loudly emptying a bin full of glass into the outside bins not too far from our windows. I do understand jobs need to be completed but the bin could have waited a couple of hours.

Fabulous and will definitely be back. Just hope the prices remain reasonable.

Fabulous views. Comfy beds. Fantastic breakfast. Lovely friendly staff.

Bath towels a bit small. Stools in bar area very difficult to get on and off but we did have other options in the lounge area so moved.

Excellent

The hotel was gorgeous and the staff couldn’t do enough for you ! They even provide a car which drops you off and picks you up from the main town if needed. Breakfast was lovely, and the views from the hotel are amazing .. honestly couldn’t fault this hotel would definitely stay again .. what a hidden little gem.

The terrace is really nice and peaceful

There was no hot water in our room. After it was fixed, the water was intermittently hot and cold. Pillows were too high and not comfortable. Breakfast was included, however there were only yogurts with granola in the breakfast room and a pricey menu for other things. It turned out that if breakfast is included then you don’t need to pay for the items on the menu, but nobody told us about this until we checked out. As we didn’t want to pay extra, we ended up with a very poor breakfast. They also ask to reserve exact time for breakfast, which is annoying when you are on vacation. They also didn’t want to serve breakfast on the terrace.

Fabulous relaxing stay in a stunning location with friendly staff

On arrival we were greeted by Jack with a friendly welcome. Hotel is lovely and in a stunning location a short walk from Bowness centre. Had the most relaxed 2 day stay, all the staff were lovely, nothing seemed too much trouble. Room was comfortable and quiet with a stunning view of the lake. Food in the restaurant was beautiful and the breakfast delicious with a great choice which made it difficult to choose. The hotel has had a lovely refurbishment. We will definitely return. Wishing them every success on this new venture.

Good food, good room, great setting with great views. Went for relaxation and this is what we did.

We found this to be a lovely hotel in a beautiful location, not to far from busy Bowness-on-Windermere so that you couldn’t walk to it, however calm enough away with the picturesque side of the Lake District. Hotel and room including the restaurant was lovely and beautifully decorated. The menu was to our preference, right, 5-6 options per course, locally sourced and well presented, tasted excellent. All the staff from reception, bar, managers and owners made you feel welcome and at ease. We have booked again.

The size of the room was brilliant for our little family with a toddler , and the location was perfect

Hotel was lovely, and the staff were very pleasant. The view of the lake was lovely from our room.

Travel cot had seen better days - and we were charged for it which wasn’t mentioned until checking out. Also a service charge in the restaurant that again wasn’t mentioned until checking out.

Nice terrace overlooking lake ,breakfast good.

Room was small, water pressure in bathroom was low, bathroom needed refurbishing. Very compact room for the price we paid.

Beautiful Place To Stay In A Fantastic Location

Fantastically clean, wonderful, friendly team. Beautiful food and great range of drink. Lovely breakfast with everything you need. Rooms outstanding with stunning views. Great picturesque grounds. Huge roomy secure drive and carpark. Location is absolutely ideal, not far from town and amenities. Everything is catered for with your interests in mind. Thank you so much. Highly recommended to all.

Just could do with an update of menu or a specials board, so you're not having to choose the same dishes every night especially during a long stay. Food and service is absolutely not to fault! Just need few more choices.

Fantastic hotel set in a beautiful location. Staff worked hard to ensure everything as you would like. Compliments to the kitchen brigade, what better a way to start the morning than with American pancakes. Rooms clean and excellent views. Perfect location to either walk to Bowness or get a local taxis. Definitely will be back
