Cheap place but noisy

they accepted to do a late checkin for me as I was late

The noise and the design of the foyer where all the rooms lead to is not good, it doesn't give a sense of privacy at all

Very good

Much better inside than outside. Charming and ultra quiet . And an excellent restaurant up the hill .

"Dislike" is too strong a word. Two points. It looks unprepossesing on the outside , and the sign is tiny, so you might not identify it easily. Secondly Google maps could not find a good route to it. Once you're there it's pretty good and the people are friendly.

very nice room - attractive decor

the check in process was laborious and took far longer than it should have done. I didn’t really appreciate the fact that the windows opened onto a patio area with other guests and members of the owner’s family walking past.

Friendly, comfortable and good VFM, located very near the castle, bring your Portuguese phrase book.

A clean place with character. The room was quiet, secure and comortable. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The check-in was fine, though a little awkward because I don't speak Portuguese and the staff had very little English. We did fine with gestures and smiles etc. The breakfast was very good, but the setting was a little too cosy and intimate for my taste.
