Warm.and welcoming

Friendly host and lovely cat that runs the place. Nice cosy warm rooms and great spa bath. Coffee maker was a bonus. Electric blanket didn't seem to work though. Ample parking.

Very roomy and comfortable bed everything you need for a good night's sleep.would highly recommend this to motel to everyone

The owner was good let us park motor bike around the back so no one can see them

Great Ashburton Stop-over

Nice to be off the main road and away from traffic noise. The motel was comfortable and good for a transit stop while travelling south.

The pub right across the road was a longer walk than expected because there was no access across the railway without walking right around. Had to haul bags some distance from carpark to our unit.

Loved the friendly welcome and especially our welcome by the owners Beautiful cat who lead us all the way to the office. it made our stay more memorable:=)

The fact that there was Not 1 or 2 BUT 6 hairs in the spa bath which we had to clean before we used it, I was going to call the office but i didnt want to disturb them as it was 9.30 at night.

Really nice motel - spacious, well appointed (2 brm). Best of or trip around the South Island. Excellent value for money

Great property, well appointed room, massive beds. Very friendly people.

Second bedroom was tight for the king size bed but the bed was great so worthwhile overall

Amazing place to stay.

The staff were amazing, she offered to drop off our luggage in town so we didn’t have to get another taxi to the motel & then back to town. The town is within walkable distance but we just happened to be there in the coldest most rainiest day of the year. Excellent internet service, not dropping out. You could cast your movies to the TV without the need to download an app or have a Chrome cast with you.

One of the best, would highly recommend

We arrived a little early it was no trouble, the rooms were beautifully maintained, immaculately clean, and all we needed

Clean rooms, good size, friendly staff. Lots of parking.

A bit far from shops and restaurants if you're on foot. Not impossible but much easier with wheels.

Great stay for transit during road trip.

Very comfortable, just there for the night as in transit. Would liked to have stayed longer to make use of comfortable facility. Exception bed, very big and very comfortable, hi tech TV, Netflix et al. Good big screen. Clean modern facilities.

Superb

Lush new rooms which are a good size with a very comfortable bed and TV with Netflix. It was also the little things such as hot chocolate, fresh milk and cold water in the fridge which made it extra good. The lady at reception was super friendly and accommodating. We had a unit at the back so it was like we had our own wee garden a d was away from the road. If only all motels were like this!

The only bad thing I can say was about the people upstairs being super loud banging every cupboard and drawer early in the morning - but that is not the motels fault just the people!
