The best and coziest! 😊

The room was very modern, beautiful, extremely clean and very comfortable! So were the common areas! :) personnel was suuuper nice and welcoming. The beds were fantastic and so was the view. The breakfast wasn't cheap but very good, only it could be refilled more frequently... bacon, fruits and eggs mostly were gone already. But nice coffee machine and very good food! So far it was the best room we had in Iceland and really loved it!

Schönes Hotel! Traumhafter Whirlpool. Es gab kostenlosen Kaffee und Tee. Sehr gemütliches Bett. Gute Lage um Nordlichter zu sehen.

Badezimmer hätte im Duschbereich etwas sauberer sein können. Es waren Ablagerungen an der wand vorhanden

Cabaña bastante espaciosa de 1 habitación

La cabaña era la de 1 habitación. Era bastante espaciosa, muy contentos con el espacio, de madera por dentro pero también muy moderna. Tiene muchas ventanas que hacían la casa muy luminosa y que permitía disfrutar de unas vistas preciosas. El baño era grande, con buena ducha y espacio para poner las cosas.

No es muy barato, casi 300 euros una noche para 3 personas...

Good stay and sleep...wonderful breakfast

Reasonably sized room and great location. Lovely views from the hotel and pitch black night-good for sleeping. Excellent breakfast too.

We got lost initially, but not because of the hotel, but the poor satellite navigation in Iceland. Best to use your own google maps directions from your phone than the satellite navigation in the hire cars. Small shower with just a curtain between you and the chamber-wet room really. About 2 km on a gravel road off the main road if you come from the south, but small tarred road if coming from the north.

Amazing location! Will surely come back for more.

We were just blown away by the location! It was just so serene. And the opportunity to stay in your own "cottage" was really cool. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and it had a cooking range & a sink. Bathroom was a good size too. The cottage was large enough for the 4 of us and our bags. Just getting up in the morning in the middle of the fields with horses around was amazing! Huge windows for the views!

We stayed only for 1 night :( Should have stayed longer.

De locatie was prachtig, rustig, weids en toch redelijk dichtbij de doorgaande weg. Verder keurige accommodatie met alle dingen die je nodig hebt. Prima ontbijt.

Accueil très chaleureux. Les propriétaires sont charmants. Les chalets sont très cosy avec vue imprenable. Nous avons pris dîner et petit déjeuner ; tout était excellent et fait maison. Les lits sont très confortables.

Beautiful views and great food.

Excellent location with great views. Breakfast is 1000% worth it, it’s delicious and we loved it so much we had to come back. The staff was friendly and made themselves available to us. The stable cats were friendly as well, 10/10 would recommend.

Decent place. Clean. But not too convenient.

Clean room. Comfortable bed.

Room is a bit small. No coffee/tea maker in room, have to go to the kitchen to get water. Not use to taking off shoes once in the building. Though slippers were provided. The property is a bit out of place.

Nos os vais arrepentir de elegir ese hotel

Me encantó desde primer momento está apartado de todo en la montañita y una cabaña muy bonita con vistas preciosas no pudimos contemplar las auroras pero volveremos algún día y seguro q elegiría ese hotel otra vez .La chica de recepción muy maja y nos dio alegría de hablar en español.

Somewhat disappointing

Nice living room

We would have loved to stay in one of the independent chalets with a view on the mountains. Our room was devoid of charm and had zero view. Eating in was expensive.

Lovely, comfortable and friendly place!

Super place! Lovely warm welcome from the staff, who cooked us a fabulous dinner. Wonderful views, with peace and quiet all around. We soaked in the hot tub, and spent time in the comfortable guest lounge. There was even a resident cat. A real home from home.

Cottage con bella vista su campagna circostante e con un bel maneggio. Staff super gentile e accogliente, consiglio la cena che va prenotata per tempo, davvero molto buona.

Bagno pessimo, non esiste un piatto doccia con conseguente allagamento bagno dopo la doccia. È presente un tira acqua per eliminare l’acqua in eccesso, ma non è funzionale. Anche la pulizia da rivedere. Rapporto qualità-prezzo non soddisfacente.

We would have wished for better showers, a hot Hot Tub and light in the lounge after 10 pm. I think it’s better to choose one of the cabins instead of a double room.

Adorable cabin with amazing views and great privacy. The staff was very friendly checking in and answered all my questions in a timely manner. We really enjoyed our stay here and it was a great way to recharge and relax after driving around the Golden Circle all day!

The hot pot was the hottest in my life. 5 minutes inside, and you’re not cold for like 15 minutes outside, with but a wet swimming suit on! we were there alone which was extra cool. breakfast (8-10am) was very nice too, great variety and everything is really tasty. especially the bread, could have eaten it as a meal. and the herring! spacious rooms, quite simple but rather convenient. THANK YOU FOR THE BATHROBES!

no cooking facilities (which we were aware of), no eating options around and if you’re late for dinner you are (theoretically) not allowed to eat in the room or anywhere else on premises. just something to bear in mind in case your trip takes longer than expected.

Peaceful family-friendly spot for a summer stay

The grounds are lovely, the cottage was small but comfortable for our needs, and the staff was super nice. The dinner and breakfast were great — felt like a home cooked meal. Lovely views from every window and very quiet at night.

The shower needs some maintenance. Also, we thought the cottage was a one bedroom but was more of a studio with beds, couch, table and kitchenette in the same room.
