Duur maar goed personeel!

Het tropische park is super mooi! De ligging van de accommodaties in het park draagt bij echt aan het “avontuur”. Het personeel is erg vriendelijk en hulpvaardig. Het entree van het “park” en het welkom bij inchecken is erg leuk (avontuurlijk). De douchestraal was wel comfortabel en bedden waren goed, moet gezegd worden.

De tropical superior huisjes, tenminste de onze, zijn al oud. Je ziet t aan details als stoelen (bekleding) en badkamer (oude spiegel, kitnaden, toilet). Dit was voor ons beneden verwachting voor dik 250 euro per nacht. Voor 800 euro (1000 minder per week) heb je een prima en luxe appartementje, praktisch naast Kontiki, al heb je dan niet het personeel erbij.

A localização do hotel é ótima. Perto do Sea Aquarium é de vários barzinhos e restaurantes. A praia na frente do hotel é muito boa e tranquila. O hotel tem um paisagismo muito bonito com piscinas legais. Os funcionários são muito receptivos e atenciosos.

Quando limpavam nosso quarto não colocavam novamente as coisas (touca de banho etc). O café da manhã tem um custo alto para o que é servido e não há um padrão. Tinha dia que vinha dois cafés, outro dia eles não traziam nenhum…e o atendimento é bem demorado.

Disappointing

The resort looks beautiful! But only from a distance. The closer you get, the more you see that this resort isn’t clean, is too old and the noise from Mambo Beach is unbearable.

The resort is old and dirty. No major malfunctions and from the outside it seems to work. But all little details show how this resort prioritizes profitability over the comfort of its guests. Staff is friendly but unknowing, the good beach beds are reserved by anti-social guests who put towels their in the early morning. The rooms are extremely dirty, something that is hard to spot due to the dark wood used for the interior. The noise from Mambo beach is insane, you won’t be able yo sleep.

Over all great location for a solo traveler

The location is great. It’s near all the beach clubs and restaurants. They have pool entrances to all the rooms. And I felt safe being a solo traveler. They had security and the property is clean and well maintained.

2 things i didn’t like. 1. There was a sewer problem stench in the bathroom that would not go away. Yuck and 2. The cleaning people “removed”/“stole” my sneakers out my room. I had them in a plastic garment bag and they weren’t in my room the next day when i tried to check out. I don’t want to accuse the cleaners of stealing but I was disappointed items were missing from my room.

The property is situated on an area with some sort of sewage issue, causing a foul odor to be present in some areas. The staff is aware of this but there’s not much they can do to remedy it, I believe.

Amazing.

The overall concept of the hotel (enviroment with pools and palm trees with wooden cabins). Staff was great, and overall service.

In one room we found a soap and a razor blade wich was not ours (possibly from the previous hosts), noise from parties on the beach were too loud (up to 2 am).

Fantastic resort on a beautiful and friendly island

Magical, otherworldly designed experience - a further escape than just Caribbean.

Loved the room, the jungle like alleys with the chill iguanas by the pool, nice design around beach and lounge area is pleasant.

The party on Wednesday was quite loud, bit too commercial music. seemed well organized however but not worth it. the issue you get is conflicting corridors of sound between the bars wish we’d known ideal time to claim reservation for sunbed, they go fast but really pleasant setup when you’re in. attentive staff working at the beach

I loved the hotel , the room was nice , the swimming pools in the resort are nice , the breakfast was delicious (sadly enough not included) , the sunbeds at the beach club are really comfy and included . I really enjoyed my stay and was sad to leave

We loved it.

Kontiki is a terrific resort with beautiful rooms and swimming pools. The personnel was super friendly and understanding with our special needs. They did all they could to make sure our stay was fun and relaxing.

The rooms are not cleaned thoroughly and the towels are not always changed. Room cleaners also don't follow the instructions hanged on the doors, so they will come in for room cleaning even if there's the "do not disturb" sign up.

A great experience

The rooms were beautiful, situated inside Thai style bungalows with large balconies overlooking lagoon pools you could swim in. The lagoon style pools were nice. The premises was lush like a jungle, cozy with pathways and bridges leading to the beach. At the beach were areas to lounge at, or two restaurants serving food. The staff was friendly and everything was clean and organized.

Food was expensive, but it was good tasting.

I love the location

was still able to hear music from the Cabana party on one of the nights. I ended up joining the party on a different night but my first night I just needed sleep and to recover from traveling. I highly recommend traveling with ear plugs

The fact that you wake up every morning in a tropical paradise.

Everything is fabulous, the only tiny thing I thought was a pity was that you're not allowed on the beach anymore after 18:00. Nothing major, but I enjoy an evening stroll along the beach, which wasn't possible.

the girls at the reception where really great. They helped me to rent a car.

it was very expensive for a resort with no food included. And there was construction going on, we had to walk through the parking lot. And got no cash back or anything else.
