Convenient to airport car return.

Suitable for one night. Close to airport for a decent price

Kind of worn looking, musty smell in hallways but not in the room. Cruise ships disembark here some days

Great place to stay near the airport.

The Hawes Inn is an adorable Inn right on the firth with great views and the waterfront to enjoy. The restaurant and lobby area were great to hang out in for a drink and dinner. The staff were all engaging and hospitable!

It took a while to get used to the train noise going over the bridge above the Inn but it didn't run overnight so that was good.

Historic Inn in picturesque village on Firth of Forth.

Historic inn located literally under Forth railway bridge. Rooms were spacious with separate lounge and modern bathroom. Good restaurant, although a little pricey. Only 600 metres to Railway station to Edinburgh.

Train noise, but given location what do you expect.

Perfekt.

Super Zimmer und Badezimmer. Der Lärm von Bahn ist schnell vergessen. Super toll Lage mit sehr viel Möglichkeiten. Bahnhof nach Edinburgh in der Nähe und praktisch. Restaurant mit super Gericht. Frühstück war genial. Super Grandios Blick auf die Brücke. Wanderung auch möglich. Parken war einfach und genug Platz. Personal war allgemeine sehr freundlich. Die kleine Stadt ist einfach wunderschöne .

Für mich war alles sehr 👍 und würde wieder hingehen.

Great for stop over ,not sure of longer stays.

Breakfast was good..location was good

Not being able to have our room until after 3pm. It wasn't mentioned when we booked.also it would be nice to be able to select your room before booking. As th room we were allocated was below ground level !! We were able to change rooms though. If the hotel was fully occupied we would have made alternative plans.

Das Frühstück war sehr gut, allerdings keine große Menge. Das Restaurant ist sehr schön eingerichtet.

Es war viel Verkehr auf der Straße vor dem Hotel, es war allerdings Samstagabend. Es gab keinen Schrank

The check in was not welcoming and the staff did not acknowledge we were even there initially.

Exceptional

Huge room with an amazing view. The place is really nice inside and outside. Unfortunately we did not try the restaurant but food seemed really nice.

Nothing about the place, maybe the price was a bit high but still in line with area and type of location.

great location, beautifully decorated and presented. Staff were very helpful and friendly but they seemed under staffed

very disappointed as we had booked our first night for a meal in the restaurant and at least half the menu wasn’t available!

Noisy road outside. Shower room fan not working and window doesn't open. No tea bags in room. Very basic soap in bathroom.

Another relaxing stay in this lovely hotel in a fantastic location.

Room, breakfast and location, along with great staff attention/friendliness, & secure onsite parking.

Room 5 bedside and room light switches are not wired correctly, so couldn’t have bedside light on without the full room lights on! Simple wiring change is required to achieve this.

The room was immaculate great decor and furniture and the bed and bedding was brilliant and ensuite the food was first class and the staff were great nothing was to much trouble would definitely recommend it 😊👍

Room very spacious, lack of draws and storage,,had to live out of suitcase for 4 days, draw for hairdryer but non for clothes

The hotel, (refurbishment since the last time we were there) & definitely the staff they were so helpful & friendly.

There heating system was broken so in some area's of the hotel it was cold but they did supply us with oil filled heaters for our room.

A quick stop over in a cosy pub.

Lovely location, very clean and cosy. Comfortable rooms. Nicely cooked breakfast. Easy parking.

The member of staff at check in was not very welcoming, polite or friendly, which didn’t give a good first impression. The staff at breakfast were lovely.

Excellent location, friendly staff and clean and tidy facilities.

Excellent location tucked in under the Forsyth Bridge and right on the waterfront. The staff were very friendly and breakfast was served fresh daily (chosen from a menu). The room itself was tidy and clean, and despite being by the road, very quiet. I very much enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay again for any future visits to Scotland.

Amazing place

Once again a beautiful stay at our favourite place. The disabled room is perfect and easy to access. Rooms are spotless and the breakfast is the best I have ever had .

This was a very nice hotel with good food and friendly staff, I would go back again.

The hotel staff were very friendly. The food excellent at diner and breakfast excellent and filling.

Trains started running around 6am which you could hear although they were not too often.

Great location / building, good restaurant space. Comfortable bedroom. Service a bit lacking.

Room comfortable and spacious with good shower

Breakfast choice was limited eg no fruit or cereal. Coffee was poor. Would have preferred a self-service buffet as the wait for food was too long.

Absoloute gem of a place

We have always loved this gem of a place but even more so now as it recently had a wee makeover. Amazing location, lovely clean, spacious rooms. amazing if you are lucky to get a river view room. love visiting in summer and using the beer garden. Staff always welcoming and friendly x

Purdys anniversary/ birthday trip

Friendly staff made to feel very welcome .Hotel is beautiful. Food excellent 👌

Would benefit with a more wholesome menu . Ie shepheds pie . Sausage and mash lasagne. But the food we had was lovely.
