Polecam to miejsce, było mi tam cudownie!

Hotel oferuje obiadokolację, która jest prawdziwą ucztą. Wszystko było przepyszne. W ciągu podróży po Japonii to był mój najlepszy posiłek. Menu degustacyjne, próbuje się kilku przepysznych potraw. Wszystko podane jest jak w najlepszej restauracji. Hotel położony jest w fantastycznym miejscu. Personel był bardzo sympatyczny i pomocny od początku rezerwacji. Pani zarezerwowała nam dodatkowo rowery w pobliskiej wypożyczalni i wszystko czekało na nas jak dotarliśmy na miejsce. Dodatkowo skorzystaliśmy z transportu z i do dworca. Pokoje były czyste, ze wszystkimi akcesoriami. Na miejscu jest onsen, a dodatkowo można skorzystać z miejskich łaźni. W hotelu są tradycyjne stroje w których można poruszać się po hotelu oraz po wiosce, jest to bardzo przyjemne. Jestem bardzo zadowolona z pobytu w hotelu, żałuję że byłam tam tylko jedną noc.

Hotel wymaga delikatnego remontu, ale personel i cała atmosfera miejsca wszystko rekompensują.

Overall a great experience!

The hosts could be more flexible in terms of food prep, we arrived in the afternoon and asked for dinner but it was not possible. Most of the places in town were closed.

A lovely ryokan in beautiful Shibu with great food, a nice roof top onsen and a friendly welcome

The Suminoyu was a lovely ryoken, with a nice comfortable room, looking out across the valley. The evening meal and breakfast were delicious and we really enjoyed the onsen on the roof, sitting in the hot water looking down the valley at the setting sun.

Incredible value, great location, impeccable service

The rooms were slightly older but still very well kept. I have stayed at nicer places but they were double the price, this was exceptionally good value and a major recommend

Great food, great stay

Great Ryokan, great food, good atmosphere.

The futons are really hard, but we could have known that. Do not sleep in the Japanese room if you have back problems.

Love to go back

We only stayed one night but I could have enjoyed staying even longer. Whole experience was wonderful, including friendly,supportive staff & the management. Food & facilities were great.

helpful staff and good stay

excellent service from the staff, very helpful. The hotel include the key access to the public bath outside, though many of them are rather small but give you a taste of traditional onsen. Free pick up from train station is highly appreciated, they also drop us back to the train station the next morning, just that not much choice of time schedule.

dinner is good but is average standard amongst the onsen hotels we went.

Great stay offering a genuine Japanese experience.

Our stay included a traditional Japanese dinner and breakfast which was amazing. We were also picked up at the train station and dropped off at the Snow Monkey park upon arrival. The onsite onsen was a great first time experience for us as well.

Everything was great. My only suggestion would be to offer a private onsen for couples only.

One night in Suminoyu

The service was excellent, the lodging was great and the food was good. It was beyond our expectations and we enjoyed our night stay there.

The furniture might need a little upgrading but that's fine, it's did not affected our stay.

Convenient shuttle from yudanaka Sends your luggage to yudanaka station if you are going to snow monkey park

Wonderful stay

Friendly and helpful staff. The room was very quiet and confortable. They offer shuttle service from Yudanaka station to the hotel. They even made us a favor to send our luggage to the other hotel in the area that we would spend the next night. Breakfast and dinner were amazing! High quality food and beautifully presented.
