温泉サイコー

天然温泉が最高でした。豊富な硫黄成分のお陰で浸かったあとのスベスベ感は、下呂温泉に匹敵します。当方、温泉マニアなのですが、はっきり言って有馬温泉より上でした。隠れた穴場スポットだと思います。

悪く言えば古いところですが、良く言えば昭和のレトロ感ということです。古いのは仕方がないです。

Super family friendly, comfortable, and wonderful staff.

The staff were super friendly and helpful. We only booked one room, but it was kind of small for our family of four, so they provided us with 2 rooms! The vibe was chill and fun, and the hot spring bath (onsen) was a great way to unwind at the end of the day. Dinners were also delicious.

A little farther from Ichinose Family Snow Park than I realized, but that was my mistake.

交通便利

从长野坐巴士过来基本就是在酒店门口下的车很方便，然后酒店前面就是滑雪场卖票和坐缆车上山滴地方，定的是自带卫浴的房间挺好日本酒店卫浴设施差不多都是一个模子，水壶和水还有杯子什么在走廊上可以随时自取。

Very close to the slopes!

The room was very big. The hotel had a very good and with great prices rental ski equipment. The slopes were right in front of the hotel

The breakfast was average, with not very good western options. The hotel was outdated and could use some renovations.

Love our stay at Sunny Shiga

The staffs were very welcoming and helpful. The hotel is just in front of Tagamagahara Mammoth slopes so thats super convenient. The meals were awesome 😀 and they change the buffet style menu every evenings. Very well insulated and we were warm and cozy throughout our stay.

Some may not be very used to sleeping on Japanese style futons. Just book a western style bed rooms if so.

Brilliant family hotel, really friendly staff, close to ski lifts. Would certainly stay again.

We pre-booked breakfast, which was mostly Japanese style buffet, although a small selection of croissant and cereal available. Pre-booked dinner was Fabulous! Hotpot & DIY BBQ style meat with soups and veggies each night. Different variations for each of the 3 nights we were there. Definitely recommend pre-booking meals as nowhere close/easy to go. Staff - AMAZING. Even with small amount of English - very easy to communicate. Ski/clothing/gloves/helmet hire very easy to access in hotel but quite dated, although fine for 2-3 days of skiing. We had to buy lift tickets across the road at lift ticketing office, which was simple. Onsen absolutely fabulous. Beautiful shampoos/conditioner etc provided. Robes available in hallway shelves, along with help yourself green tea at any time. Bus stop 1 minute walk away. Great family hotel.

Ensuite shower was luke warm at best, but we ended up using onsen anyway. Sewer smell at times but ok after we ran water down the drains. Pillows very Japanese style (hard). Coffee only available at breakfast, as far as we could tell.

the room is comfortable. Both breakfast and dinner are tasty and good value for money. Very near to bus stops.

Overall a great memorable stay

Great facilities including in-house onsen, tea/coffee, bar, restaurant, shop, ski rental, etc. Service was exceptional and the best we had in Japan. When we left, we waited for the bus which ever came because the but time table just changed to spring time meaning there won't be a bus for quite some time. The lady at reception apologised (even though it was not her fault at all) and drove us to the train station in heavy fog so that we could make our train on time. Going out of your way for the customer is just something I've never seen at this level! Congrats!

Whilst it was pricey and certain items like goggle hire were more expensive, it was the norm for Japan.

Great location and great people made it a great vacation

Sunny Shiga combines great location, genuinely caring staff, and the facilities you need For a first time visitor skiing at Shiga Kogen, choosing where to stay can be a challenge. Sunny Shiga has chair lifts literally over the road that connect to Ichinose and the slopes to the east, or down to Hoppo and the lower slopes. The express bus from Nagano stops 2 minutes from the front door. The hotel has a large drying room/ski storage, an in-house ski rental, and a hot spring bath on the lower floor. There is even a grand piano to play in the lobby. The included meals were healthy and tasty. You never leave the table wanting more. Service is heartfelt and genuine....both in the restaurant and in other interaction. We plan to be back next year

Nothing....our expectations were exceeded.... particularly by the attitude of the thoughtful staff

I am sorry to say that the room is dusty and bed small come from the toilet. the dinner and breakfast is horrible leavin

the onsen is good and clean and the staffs are friendly the snow forest view outside the canteen is really good location is greatly (next to the ski resort)

the breakfast and dinner is horrible. the hotel appearance is old the room is dusty and bad smell coming from toilet they are holding some sort of event (熟齡六期）that (the hotel didn’t notify us in advance) over 80% of the guest are local elderly people, the hotel just like an elderly centre, we were kind of shocked when we saw that situation 🤢🤢

The location is great, great for ski in ski out experience. Ski gear rental is quite cheap. and the staff are very helpful and help to upgrade our room

polite and friendly front desk. stay included breakfast and dinner. food provided were good and nice. don’t feel cold in the accom. onsen was good.

Friendly staff with superb service

the location was very near to ski lift and they have rental for ski equipment. also not too high on Shiga kogen which can be hard to drive in winter when there is snow. the onsen is quite big compared to other hotel I have stayed and there are washing machine and dryers which allows me to do my laundry.

poor wifi connection which every single Japanese hotel has the same issue.

The staff was incredibly helpful and kind, they helped me organise my ski rental and gave advice for traveling around the area.

Cozy, warm hotel next to the slopes with super friendly staff and mediocre food

The location is perfect, right next to a ski-lift. The rooms were always warm, the onsen is nice and the staff was very polite, helpful and friendly. Breakfast was Japanese-style, the bread was pretty good, the natto was worse than expected.

The ski rental in the hotel only has very old skis (although it's cheap). Dinner is okay (mostly as there are no other options), but it's not great. Buffet on weekdays have limited food, the local red wine was terrible and highball lacked soda. Go for the local craft beer (that one was good).
