Wunderschönes Hostel

Das schönste Hostel in dem ich bis jetzt in Australien war! Super schöne Atmosphäre mitten in den Grampians. Die Küche ist groß, gut ausgestattet und sauber und die Aufenthaltsräume sind sehr gemütlich und groß. 100% Empfehlung!

Es gab nur 2 Duschen für Frauen, man musste ein bisschen anstehen zum Duschen

This hostel was clean, the bathrooms in particular were very good. The hostel was friendly and easy to access.

Not much can be done, but squeaky bunk beds can be a little noisy.

OKAY if you have your own room and cannot find other suitable accommodation

- location perfect, quiet and only a 5-10min walk to main centre. - lots of room and ability to cook, even when there is packed kitchen (two different cooking areas on either side of kitchen) two big fridges and stickers for everyones food. - kitchen is really well set up and clean, folk really follow the rules which is a big bonus. - lots of info from staff.

- mattress/pillows are really cheap and uncomfortable. dont stay in a dorm room if you can help it - even if it is cheap (which is still expensive), dorm rooms smell and i only booked as there was no other rooms left and it was a last minute decision to visit.

The hostel had nice clean rooms, was in a great location and had everything we needed for our stay. BJ and Tara were great hosts and a huge help organising our time in Halls Gap, particularly when we had some transportation troubles. I would happily stay at YHA Grampians Eco again.

I left around 11 pm and I didn't like just having to leave the keys in an open box where someone else could just take it. I would've preferred if I could just slip it through a slot where it's not accessible to anyone other than the management

We had a lovely stay and would recommend the property to friends.

It was really value for money. Property was very clean and well maintained. kudos to the owners. kudos to the visitors too as they were disciplined and considerate. The location of the property was great!

YHA Halls Gap is centrally located, has everything a traveler needs. Staff are very friendly.🤩

It was excellent to have a fire each night to warm up the lounge area. We certainly enjoyed the time together and could share our plans and adventures. The other guests also shared their walking plans.
