Bushland idyl with all the comforts of home.

We had three generations visiting the property, and we all fell in love with the beautifully curated wilderness garden and the wildlife. The two youngest, almost 2 and 4 years old, loved exploring and looking for clues about the animals that visited the property. We all enjoyed the excellent facilities and comfort. A truly peaceful place in which to recharge energy levels.

Heating was great, outside fireplace, very comfortable beds, ample crockery, cutlery, dishwasher, very pleasant accommodation. Visiting bird and wildlife delightful.

Very comfortable accomodation, we will be back!

Beautiful bush views from all the windows. Beds were super comfy, the best ever! Great shower. Lovely outdoors sitting area

Superb

It felt like a home away from home, with all the creature comforts we needed travelling with kids. We were able to kick back, relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

Definitely recommend!

Great property, comfortable and clean, lots of kitchen utensils, plates, pots etc., cooking supplies. Really enjoyed the fireplace and the terrace. Beds are super comfy. Excellent layout and enough space for 2 families with kids and dogs. Great host.

Spacious. Warm. Very comfortable king size bed. Absolutely beautiful view. Love veranda- great spot to relax and excellent reading place. Mindful.

Lovely and relaxing!

Location, facilities including lots of toys for young children. Very warm. We loved the fire and that we were nestled in the bush. Quiet and calm. Wifi available as was a dishwasher!. We were visited by birds. Very relaxing!! Thank you so much.

All good, if we have to say something we would have liked, a tissue box and paper towel would have been useful.

Weekend getaway

The peace, privacy and quiet in the bushland setting, and the visiting wildlife including an inquisitive wallaby! The beds were very comfortable. Kitchen was well appointed The front verandah and hanging seat provided a fantastic spot to enjoy a morning coffee. Great for a friends get together and we plan to return next year for the "Run the gap" event again. Great communication from our host Louise, who allowed us a slightly later check out so we could shower after our fun run before heading out. Greatly appreciated Louise.

Only one small thing to note was that 2 of the outside garden seats needed repair, but there were still sufficient for our needs

A very comfortable & pleasant stay at The Escarpment.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Escarpment. The house was lovely and in a great location. The new beds are very comfortable and the house had everything we needed. It was so lovely having kangaroos in our front and backyards. Louise was fantastic & very helpful. We would love to stay here again some day. Hall's Gap is a beautiful place.
