Staying at this property was a really neat adventure. The AC works well in the unit, the kitchen is an outdoor kitchen

The property is gorgeous! Beautiful landscaping, palm trees, tropical blossoms, the pool, the bay, the sandy beach with the colorful kayaks, blues skies, a visual feast!

Everything you need. Free kayaks and only a 15 minute paddle to pinel island. The pool is right next to the private beach and has a great ocean view. Close to all the good restaurants but you don't have to deal with the noise. Also, the location has a merchandise shop in the garage where you can get souvenirs that are honestly better than most of the island for very good prices.

Fabuleux !!

Nous avons été conquis par ce petit bout de paradis !Logement agréable et plein de charme dans un endroit paisible et reposant. Vue magique sur la baie de cul de sac ! Des plongées snorkeling magnifiques avec les tortues et les raies dans les eaux translucides de l île Pinel à laquelle nous accédons en 10 minutes grâce aux kayaks mis à notre disposition. Enfin , la discrétion et la grande gentillesse de Bruno et Carole ( et des toutous) qui nous accueillent avec simplicité et générosité ! Bref, pour nous , ce fut un séjour inoubliable ! Une seule envie : y revenir très vite !!!

Imersão no paraíso

O studio fica em uma praia reservada, imersa na natureza. O único som que é possível ouvir é o som dos pássaros. A localização é ótima. O lado francês é o melhor! Excelentes restaurantes, praias lindas e calmas. Amamos e já estamos com saudades.

Great location, quiet neighborhood.

Great quiet location but still close to supermarket and beaches. Nice to have the kayaks, we went to Pinel Island easily. Also close to Grand Case where we ended up dining often.

Bathroom is unique, mostly enlcosed but could be sealed off better. We had to keep the door to the bathroom closed to keep out bugs/lizards etc, which means it would get hot in there. Porch could use a screen to keep bugs out but they were few so no big deal. Coffee maker needs to be replaced. Pool could use some shade.

Like a movie set. Amazing.

Unbelievably beautiful. The outdoor kitchen alone with that view makes the place. The bathroom is one of a kind and cool. Having a separate sleeping area for our son was great. Easy paddle to multiple islands. The dogs are hilarious.

THE place to go for a relaxing stay on the French side

Fantastic place! The location: Our suite was one of the 2 on the ground level overlooking the backyard, pool, beach and harbour (get a seaview suite if you can). The pool and beach are right in your backyard. You can lounge around there or take the (free) kayaks to Pinel Island, about a 15-min easy paddle away. There are beautiful beaches and 2 bars and restaurants on Pinel. The beach on the property isn't ideal for swimming (but great for relaxing). We didn't have a car, but it would be very practical to have one. The nearest town is about a 20-30 min walk away, so stock up on groceries before you arrive. We took taxis everywhere so it wasn't much of a problem. Most trips we took were in the $12-20 range. There is also a restaurant that will deliver, it was very good and reasonably priced. The suite: The apartment was beautifuly decorated. The outdoor kitchen was a huge plus - great to look out at the ocean while you're washing up! The bathroom looks like it's out of a magazine - it's huge and there's an opening (screened) between the top of the walls and the roof, so it's like you have an outdoor bathroom, complete with rocks and plants as part of the flooring. Soundproofing between the suites seems to be great, as we often stayed up late drinking wine on our patio and the people next door didn't hear a thing. Bruno and Carole are absolutely adorable hosts, friendly, genuine, helpful and responsive. They have lovely dogs who will accompany you on all your adventures if you want - if not they're very polite! They guarded our door, walked all the way into town with us and even jumped in the ocean to follow us as we kayaked to Pinel Island! (The dogs; not the hosts ;-) Wonderful and memorable stay in St. Martin, highly recommend.

best holiday ever!!

Amazing location, probably best in st Martin. Lovely comfortable room, kayaks at disposition to go to Pinel island or the lagoon just in front. The pool was lovely and perfectly placed with amazing views. kitchen was very well equipped to be able to make proper food (large fridge freezer, induction hob, non stick pan, good knives…) Secure parking for the car at night. last but not least, very welcoming hosts Bruno and Carol and their adorable two dogs who we fell in love with instantly.

I Loved every minute of it!! Can’t wait to come back.

Views and location. A kayak ride away from Pinel Island, snorkeling and hiking. A relaxing spot for couples or family. The cooking and bathrooms are outside which seemed a little uncomfortable to me at first but totally welcomed and now would prefer to have those amenities outside. We loved the location!! The days were spent on the property or Pinel Island or in town at Grand Case.

A little muddy getting into the kayaks but the property is in a bay so…. it’s what you’d expect.

Exceptional

The hosts gave us a free upgrade to the Pinel studio as it was unoccupied during our stay. The view is breathtaking any time of day and the covered porch, private pool, beach and use of kayaks all great. The apartment was spacious, cool, clean and very comfortable. Good information about local hikes, beaches etc.

Exceptional

Peaceful, quiet and private. Easy paddle to sandy Beach at Pinel Island.. Close to hiking trail with great vista's. Close to beautiful beach on the windy wavy side.

The water was churned up and windy when I was there so I missed the crystal clear flat beaches and the clear rocky areas for snorkeling. Be prepared for tiny sand fleas and mosquitoes when it is not windy.

Great place to work remotly and perfect spot for sunrise!

I came to work remotely and was able to do it without any problems. Extremely friendly owners who want to help you as much as you need, kitchen and bathroom are outside of the room but the open space was great! 5 minutes of driving to Ansel Marsel to swim, kayaks to swim to Pinel Island, and next to the apartment is a hill from which you can watch the sunrise!

Exceptional

We had a terrific stay at Studio St. Martin. It was very much as represented in the photos and description and suited our preferences and needs perfectly. We always prefer to be able to self-cater and to be a bit away from tourist areas and hotels so this was perfect. We loved having access to the kayaks to go to Pinel Island and Petit Clef - decent snorkeling in both places. There were plenty of restaurants within a quick drive, as well as groceries and other conveniences. In addition to Pinel and Grand Caye beaches, there are many other beach options and activities within a 10-20 minute drive. Bruno and Carole were super helpful and friendly. Our kids are grown, but it would be a great place to be with kids, if you are into nature and exploration and not looking for hotel amenities. The pool was small but clean and refreshing.

Easy to choose between the humdrum of local facilities and the quiet seclusion of the accommocation.

The host was helpful and avaialble and an extensive list of local services was provided in a file. The room was spacious and tastefully decorated with a superb view from the bed out onto the bay.

The only thing that could be improved is the towles as they were rather hard and not condusive for use when you have had a little sun on your skin.

Best place to stay in Saint Martin

The view of the ocean from the room was great and the location is amazing. The property has its own private beach where you can kayak and go for lunch on Pinel island if you want (around 10 min). The host is super nice and I totally recommend staying here and look forward to coming back!!

It’s Beautiful...Bring it!

A Beautiful cozy Cul de Sac Neighborhood. Keep in mind, the area is still rebuilding. So expect construction. There are kayaks for use, life vests and a dry bag available. A pool, we did not use. plenty of outdoor seating, parking and it’s lighted beautifully at night! We enjoyed sitting on the beach with our music and drinks. It’s private & the dogs make it feel like home. The location is ideal when traveling ether way to explore. There are 3 comfortable rental units.

Here’s the Bring it.... No Bar soap for bathroom and kitchen, you buy the toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags & liquid dish soap. Which is fine, but notice of this would’ve been helpful. There are both bath & beach towels provided but yikes they’re rough on the skin, most likely the local water & detergent, an upgrade on the quality should resolve that. We had a misunderstanding upon arrival of our reserved unit. There are several names of the rooms & the property that made for a mix up which was disappointing but who’s going to let that damper a week stay in beautiful St. Maarten 🤷🏼‍♀️

The water right off the beach wasn't the greatest for swimming, but that didn't really matter to us. Pinel island was only minutes away and it had great swimming and snorkeling - plus the pool made up for it.
