Beautiful grounds, great breakfast, beware the loud event music

Location on beach is beautiful, property is delightful, breakfast is amazing, and the grounds are stunning. Would come back.

Used as a corporate event space, so there is really loud music some nights well past 10pm. For music after 10pm, it should be nowhere near the rooms. However, we were put in a room next to the conference center. At 9:30 when I called management to ask for a different room the manager on duty promised the music would stop by 10pm sharp. Of course, it did not. I called again at 10:15, and they moved us. But in the process, had completely lost my trust in terms of customer service and integrity - felt like they lied just so they wouldn't have to deal with something.

Very relaxing. Loved the me time! Will definitely be back again Godwilling.

Excellent customer service! Special shoutout to Solomon at the a la carte restaurant and Esther at the reception. Good people and we thoroughly enjoyed interacting with them:)

Maybe extend tea time a little longer to like 5:30pm?

Beautiful stay we will come back.

We enjoyed the food and drinks at the lounge and the evening entertainment. The pool bar was also great and the yoga as well. We had a situation but Francis the manager handled it well.

Beautiful property and great amenities but don't expected excellent customer service.

The staff was not the greatest. Request item for the room a few times before receiving them. Before check-in I had been trying to communicate with someone about my reservation and no one had responded. Setting up car service from the airport was not confirmed so we had to figure that out.

Best vacation at Whitsands

Amazing staff, big up to Brian and Masha. Elizabeth at the front office was exceptional. I loved the kidszone alot, I got the opportunity yo unwind while knowing the kids were having a time of their life under strict and professional supervision. This is my 5th time to whitesands and I find myself keep coming back. Thank you so much for the exceptional service.

Maybe consider adding a water slides at the pool that van be friendly for children under six years.

A vacation wasted

Location, good beach , clean

A la Carte menu in the restaurants limited and quality of the food not good. Service of the hotel staff leaves a lot to be desired. Late check out was granted but bedsheets removed at 10.00 am so that room was unusable and the late checkout therefore useless. Check in was delayed and blamed on system failure whereby we were kept waiting for 2 hours to get all the rooms.

It is a good hotel, well run and feels very safe and visitors are well looked after.

- The location of my room was perfect: second floor, very close to the quiet pool, spa and the beach because the room was facing the ocean. - The staff for the most part were amazing. - The food was excellent. - The staff at breakfast surprised me with a birthday cake and song. That was the highlight of my stay.

- WiFi connectivity for the last couple of days in my room block was very bad. It kept disconnecting every 10- 30 seconds on my phone so I had to leave the room to go to other areas in the hotel. - While checking out, the staff who handled my check- out process was unfriendly and became rude when I insisted that he gives me my change in its entirety (I settled my bill in cash) because he acted as if I don't own a calculator to verify how much change I ought to get back and he wasn't going to give me all of it and instead quoted for me what he would be giving me instead. When I was giving him the extra Kshs 1.5 he gave me, he said "I don't want it, keep it". Respect for guests goes a long way. It's not like he paid the bill for me so his attitude was completely uncalled for!

Breakfast was great, having a mix of Swahili foods, Indian food, and English breakfast is great. The activities planned over easter kept me engaged in the hotel. Spa treatment and yoga were great

Lido restaurant was under renovation, it's always a great place to get seafood which I missed on this trip.
