Wouldn't recommend

Great location, and the woman cleaning the rooms was very nice.

The room smelled of mold and was very damp. After reaching out to the owner with our concerns, we were dismissed and told they wanted people who stayed with them to have positive energy, so I guess they interpreted our concern about having a mold allergy as being negative. She also suggested that people with this type of "disease" shouldn't visit the Azores.

Victorian style appartment with lovely garden

Beautiful Victorian interior with huge mirrors. Paradise-like garden and backyard. Very calm at night (except the occasional airplane, which you hear everywhere in town). Very welcoming host. Perfect for chilling some days or even weeks. Go write a book there!

It is a bit difficult to find, no big sign outside.

Very nice place to stay with great location to the center and lovely water front.

It was lovely having our own little apartment with a very nice patio out the kitchen door. Daily a sweet lady came in and freshened the place up while we were out. Upon arriving Marie's daughter welcomed us and gave us a lot of information on places to go, a great car rental business to use ( they were great!). It was nice to be in walking distance to the town center and the water front. We would stay again at Casa Vitoriana if we return.

the garden and the entrance are very nice. the location is great, nice big parking lot very close to the property.

wifi was extremely weak. a fan would be nice to have when its humid.

A beautiful place with very nice garden in the center of Ponta Delgada.

We enjoyed the kind hospitality of our hostess very much. She has been very helpful with tips and is easily approached. The caracteristic room has all the comfort you need. The room is situated on walking distance from the city center of Ponta Delgada. Behind the building is a big parking lot we’re you can park your car for free. A supermarket is also nearby.

The bed is okay especially for just few days. For tall person as us it is not the most comfortable. it was just fine.

It was of a lower standard than expected but a nice host and good location.

Nice surroundings with the garden outside the rooms.

There was no fan or ac to help with the humidity. The beds were feeling almost wet. The room was quite worn down and in need of renovation. Dead cockroaches outside the door on the terrace were not removed for days.

Do not recommend, unless you like cockroaches and mould

The location.

Found 2 cockroaches under the bed on night one. On night three found one in the kitchen and two in the bathroom. On night four, after finding another one in the bathroom again, decided to terminate the stay earlier and moved to another place for the final two nights in Ponta Delgada. There were also major problems with mould and damp everywhere in the property, including the beds. Throughout this process, the host was not only very slow to respond to our concerns, but also tried to dismiss them.

Good

Maria was very welcoming, even though we arrived in the middle of the night. Thoughtful touches, such as putting out a clothes warmer for us, were appreciated. The apartment is characterful and the location is excellent. There is also a large free car park just around the corner.

Sadly the shower was very poor with a rickety old surround. (At least the water was warm). Wi-fi was intermittent.
