Good for a one-night stay

B&B Chartres Centre Cathedrale is your standard, short-stay hotel. While the rooms are quite comfortable, they are small. The breakfast was generous and included scrambled eggs and bacon as well as cold cuts and cheese. We appreciated the private, locked, parking lot.

Luogo comodissimo, accogliente, silenzioso, per visitare la città. Vicina anche al fiume con comode

Posizione ottima per visitare il centro a circa 800 mt. colazione buona e ottimo parcheggio. Accoglienza ottima e rapida.

Dimensione camera piccola ma essenziale.

10 Gehminuten zur Kathedrale

Das Hotel liegt sehr günstig nur 10 Gehminuten entfernt von Kathedrale und Altstadt. Das war bei der Auswahl für uns ausschlaggebend. Das Haus scheint zwar etwas in die Jahre gekommen zu sein, bot uns aber eigentlich alles, was man braucht. Die Betten waren bequem, die Dusche 1A erholsam. Das Zimmer war lediglich etwas klein und dunkel. Sehr angenehm bei der Hitze draußen war die gut funktionierende Klimaanlage! Der Service war wirklich sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, das Frühstücksbüffet war ganz okay. Es gab Kaffee, verschiedene Säfte, Croissants, Pain au chocolat, Baguette, Joghurts und Cerealien, verschiedene Marmeladen. Bei verfügbarem Platz steht der PKW optimal und kühl für eine geringen Aufpreis in der Tiefgarage. Im Sommer sollte man sich die ab 22.00 Uhr beleuchtete Kathedrale und den Rundgang Chartres en Lumieres auf keinen Fall entgehen lassen!

Todo estaba muy limpio. El hotel está bien situado. La vistas desde la habitación eran muy bonitas.

La habitación era un poco pequeña, pero es algo que no me importa mucho en un hotel.

A one night stop over for two, clean and comfortable, breakfast was standard continental but good.

Good hotel, secure parking, good location to local Cathedral and restaurants, shops.

More seating for relaxing in the bar area would have been good.

Zwischenstopp in Chartre

Das Hotel ist toll gelegen, die Cathedrale ist sehr gut zu Fuß zu erreichen, einfach die Straße links den Berg herauf. Das Personal ist sehr nett. Vielen Dank.

Die Zimmer sind schon teilweise sehr abgewohnt. Die Klimaanlage hat nur sehr schwach getan.

As a city break,a very good place to stay, less than twenty minutes walk to magnificent Cathedral.

Comfortable bed with a basic but varied breakfast nr good park, the river and easy walk up to the Cathedral.

The welcome was lacking, but they were checking in a crowd of students as we arrived, who stood in the doorway with heavy bags at my eye level ! After walking our dog nearby we went out to the nearby Irish pub for supper.

Good stop over point

Very central and easy access to shop, restaurants and cathedral. Staff very helpful and provided gluten free bread and cake at breakfast.

Room was very warm and air con didn’t make much of a difference.

Cet hôtel est bien situé pour profiter du centre ville de Chartres à pied. La chambre est propre et bien insonorisée alors que nous donnions sur une route passante. Petit déjeuner standard.

Un petit peu cher pour la prestation en réservant 15 jours à l'avance.

L’inconfort en plein hiver.

Emplacement proche cathédrale

Un froid terrible dans la chambre. Impossible d’augmenter le niveau de chauffage. Nuisance du bruit de la soufflerie du chauffage qui était plutôt de la climatisation. Personnel lent et incompétent. 20 minutes d’attente pour obtenir une facture.

Relaxing overnight stay close to Chartres

Comfortable beds with inter connecting rooms. Clean spacious bathroom. Good breakfast with plenty of choice. Good location (walking distance 10mins to cathedral). Good secure underground parking. Friendly staff.

No English channels on TV except BBC news. Bouncy pillows.

Good hotel for bikers

This really is a great little budget hotel. Location is spot on to walk into the town, outdoors seating by the river, comfy beds, evening meal was very good and the cherry on the cake for bikers is secure under ground parking.

Rooms are a bit small but for the money I’m happy to compromise

Enjoyed our stay but think you should review the towel and pillow supply in the rooms.

Staff and restuarant were very good. Cleanliness was good.

Only one towel per person, not even a hand towel by the washbasin!! And only one pillow per person. Room was very small.

We had a nice walk to the cathedral and a quiet night. For one nights stay it was ok .

The surroundings were very nice, you could eat breakfast outside n the terrace. Breakfast was quit good and plentiful.

The rooms are much too small. We asked for another room as ours was on the street and very loud. We did get another room on the second floor toward the back and had a view of the cathedral, but all thr rooms were the same size. The staff was helpful enough but all in all, the price was too high for what was offered.

The room was fine, just a regular hotel room. The people at the desk spoke English. Breakfast was good.

Centrally located within walking distance of the Cathedral and good restaurants. The secure parking was essential for us as we were packed for the holidays

Deviations and roadworks - hopefully temporary - made driving to the hotel a hellish experiance. The road signs were inadequate and might of encouraged most visitors to give up and go elsewhere. The lasting impression was that visitors - especially new ones - were unwelcomed.

Excellent hotel and one I intend to come back to

The check in process was easy and we were allocated private parking spaces in the secure garage for our motorcycles. The location was perfect for walking into the city centre and the morning breakfast was excellent.

Ideal location to discover the old Chartres.

Ideal location 10 mins walk from the cathedral just y the river. Great car park (value for money when compared to paying on street parking)

Nothing. Theere was a bit of work happening to refresh the exterior but no noise at all during the evening/night.
