Lovely historic hotel near tourist attractions

Great location for National Gallery and Portrait Gallery. 29 minute walk to Kingston and waterfront restaurants.

Magnificence beyond expectations, the modernity whilst remaining true to its core blew me away.

The history and feel of the hotel was fantastic. The art decor and the general atmosphere were superb. I could not have been more appreciative of my stay and will definitely return.

The parking situation was a first come first serve (atleast in the carpark I attended.) I was informed there was another carpark however I had already found a space and didn't think moving prudent.

What can I say would stay again any time we are there beautiful hotel

The bed was really comfy the bedroom was set up beautifully. The staff were really friendly and welcoming and the breakfast was excellent. Loved Ballarat too beautiful friendly little town.

A wonderful weekend at my favourite Canberra hotel.

The decor, atmosphere and service at the Kurrajong is consistently first rate. The staff (Stephi) was exceptionally warm, welcoming and accomodating.

Gym needs a rethink - it does the property’s overall exceptionalism a disservice by being under done. (Ie. an incomplete set of light to medium weights and no water available.)

Check-in went smoothly. The room was clean and the staff were friendly. Everything I required for my business stay was there.

lovely hotel, in an excellent location. Perfect for a winter stay.

atmosphere and location, helpful and friendly staff.

Room had steps to reach which was difficult with suitcase on check-in and check-out. Fridge had been unplugged so items not kept cold on first day of stay.

Canberra is lovely

staff were very friendly and welcoming.

the room could have been a little cleaner. the soap containers (pump packs) looked like they had never been cleaned around. the tiles in the bathroom were scummy.

Art deco feel with new world comfort.

Comfort was amazing. Room well appointed and had everything you need. I liked the art deco theme of the whole place. It was well located to Parliament House. Also, I had a fall on way home one night and the woman on duty was amazing. She was kind and supportive. I received a bucket of ice to assist with swelling.

As an older place, it was clearly added onto at times. Therefore it was a bit of a rabbit warren.

The final room I stayed in was perfectly quiet .

The first room I stayed in there was a loud hum from the compressor outside. But staff were more than happy to move me to a new room.

A lovely old world feel with staff who went above and beyond.

The staff were excellent. We got caught in a heavy downpour while sitting in the garden and someone came out with umbrellas for us which was so thoughtful.

Bathroom lighting wasn’t great, too shady. My husband found it difficult to shave.

The overall impression is very good so you expect a prefect stay.

The restaurant staff is not well educated so the overall impression is fainting a little. However, the management is handling any issues with care.
