Schönes Hotel in Top Lage am Rheinufer

Top Lage, direkt am Rhein, schöner Spazierweg am Rheinufer für unseren Hund, Zimmer war gut und auch das Frühstück. Abendessen im Restaurant war leider während unseres 3-tägigen Aufenthalts nur 1 mal möglich, es war lecker

Restaurant am Wochenende geschlossen, Montag Abend dort gegessen und bar bezahlt, später bei Abreise hatten wir ein Abendessen auf unserer Rechnung, das nicht von uns war. Es wurde von Hand eine unleserliche Zimmer-Nr. auf den Beleg gekritzelt und deshalb falsch auf unser Zimmer gebucht. Leider haben wir dies erst zuhause gemerkt und es war zu spät um zu reklamieren.

Along the Rhine

Beautiful hotel right along the Rhine River. Very nice room, great breakfast. Close to the train station, and pleasant walk to restaurants, etc. Indoor bicycle storage, although it is in a garage about a block away. Good breakfast.

Great View and Room, Service Could be Better

The room was large and nicely furnished. We had a very nice view of the Rhine outside of our windows.

There was no one at the hotel when we checked in and our code did not work. We were able to get in touch with someone to get our key but it was not a smooth checkin. The next night another family encountered the same problem. The hotel was nearly full over the weekend, so there should have been greater attentiveness on the part of management to checking in guests. Other hotels of comparable price have front desk personnel who meet and assist guests, why not this one?

A quiet hotel with a view of Rhine

A nice quiet hotel in the very centre of the old town on the German side of Laufenburg. Amazing view of the Rhine river!! A comfortable room with an exceptionally clean bathroom. Small nice details like an electric kettle, tea bags and a complimentary bottle of water. Friendly staff and nice breakfast. The dining room has a wonderful view of the Rhine, I recommend having breakfast on the terrace if it's warm enough. A very good value for money. I definitely recommend it.

I had issues with connecting to the wifi but it worked eventually.

A lovely place to stay beside the mighty river Rhein.

The location is splendid. We had a room with a view over the Rhein, opposite from the historic facades on the Swiss side of Laufenburg, and only a minute's walk from the riverside, where you can walk in both directions along the river and enjoy the views. Really a lovely place to spend a night!

Relaxing stay in Laufenburg on a Rhine cycle trip

We really enjoyed our stay in Brutsches Rebstock on our Rhine cycle trip. The hotel staff where welcoming and helpful. Our room was excellent with a balcony to relax on, overlooking the Rhine. Dinner was very good, one of the best pepper steaks I have had for a long time. Breakfast was also excellent. Bike storage was a short walk away in a secure locked underground garage. A thoroughly relaxing stay in a charming hotel with great views of the Rhine, didn’t want to leave.

Lovely traditional hotel at a spectacular location, offering stellar service

The location is spectacular, though much more impressive is the staff at this traditional historic hotel. Fabulous kitchen, great breakfast, booking a spot at the nearby public parking was arranged quickly.

WIFI could be better, keeping the modem switched on during the night would be useful ;)

Exceptional

Location was perfect. Eating breakfast buffet on the balcony overlooking the Rhein River was fabulous. Paying a little extra to have a room overlooking the Rhein is also highly recommended. Also, by staying in Germany with your car parked in Germany you do not have to worry about buying a Swiss annual vignette for your car as you can walk across the bridge into Switzerland.

Perfect stay and nice location in the old town centre of Laufenburg. I would like to recommend this family hotel to other travellers. Nice and helpful staff. Ask for your free of charge Konus-guest pass to have free access to public transport of the region.
