Comfortable stay - lovely and warm. Opt for ground floor if you have luggage.

Staff were very friendly and helpful with check in. Electric blanket and air con in room which were great as it was winter. Microwave (which I didn't use but is handy).

I hadn't realised my room was upstairs and there is no lift so getting heavy luggage is a bit of a struggle. There are also ourdoor chairs / tables in the narrow balcony so you have to get around these. Room was ok, bed comfortable but the bathroom and kitchenette in need of a revamp as the property is old.

Perfect place to stay

I stayed 2nights for the Snowy trip , The property is very clean and tidy, worth the money spent. The staff were very good too. Would highly recommend anyone looking for good place around Canberra. Will visit there again.

there were loud guests at 4 am drunk, smashing bottles and leaving alcohol bottles on our car slamming doors and screaming

Our room was clean, comfortable and tastefully appointed with modern furnishings and decor.

Whilst the stairs to the upper floor met the construction standards at the time of building the complex, care should be taken by individuals who have large feet as the treads are slightly narrower than today’s standards.

We found this motel very clean and comfortable and we would definitely stay there again.

Very comfortable and clean spacious rooms. Air conditioning. Value for money. Friendly staff.

A bit far from cafes or shops for walking but not far with car. No breakfast option, though good coffee making facilities and biscuits made up for that.

First Impressions

Upon arrival, my first impression was “what an awesome place”. Delightfully, it was one of those rare occasions when a first impression was accurate. Following the usual formality of registration and advised which room had been allotted to me, my first impression of the outside continued upon opening the room’s entrance. You were met with an exceptionally spacious room, very tastefully furnished, which included a sofa, table and chairs, a work bench and large comfortable bed. It also had large windows allowing for fabulous observations of visiting Galahs and Sulphur Crested Cockatoos as interested in knowing who was watching them as they of you. The bathroom was sufficiently large and lacked nothing, including daily replacements of toiletries. The only (perhaps very pedantic) issue was the location of the shower head which for a tall person such as me, required some knee squats to wash head and hair. The towels, however, were actually longer than me. Did not have a guest laundry but was very kindly permitted to use the Motels own laundry facilities. Located a little way from the town centre, requiring a five-minute drive (or twenty-minute walk). Excellent free Wi-Fi.

Perhaps a more adjustable shower head.

Convenient Motel for a short stay in Canberra

We asked for a ground floor room due to mobility issues. But we could only have one at a higher rate, which we accepted. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly.

The overhead shower is a nightmare for women who don't want to wash their hair every time they have a shower.

Well priced and comfortable

Friendly and welcoming on booking in. Room was spotless and spacious with a comfortable bed and good shower. It was close to our family and though close to the main road was quiet regarding the noise of the traffic.
