Decepcionante, reducido e inseguro.

La ubicación, exclusivamente.

El reducido espacio de la habitación 306 y aún más del baño, donde no podías siquiera sentarte en el sanitario porque te dabas con la cabeza en la pared de frente, o con la pequeña estantería que justo han colocado ahí. El desayuno había que hacerlo en un restaurante de fuera y el domingo tienes que esperar hasta las 11:30 que abren, a pesar de que te indican que es de 11 a 12 (tuvimos que esperar media hora). Los espacios comunes también son súper reducidos, no te fíes de las bonitas fotos que aparecen. Y no dejes nada de valor en la habitación, a mi me desapareció el DNI el primer día, por lo que tuve que cursar denuncia en los mossos d'esquadra, con la consiguiente pérdida de tiempo. Lo más sorprendente es que parece que no sorprendió cuando lo comenté en la recepción del hotel. Así que muy decepcionante el hotel Ginebra.

This property had everything that we needed to be comfortable and we were made to feel welcome.

Central location, charming and helpful staff, clean spacious room, strong WiFi, soundproofing from outside noise, coffee and tea service in room, building with character

Old plumbing made for quirky toilet, voices from hallway seemed to be amplified, and we couldn’t figure out air conditioner (but we didn’t ask for help because we only wanted it on our last night). Some people might not like choosing between the tiny elevator and lots of marble stairs.

Отель находится в самом красивом историческом здании на площади Каталонии. Порадовало то, что в отель легко попасть, даже если персонал временно куда-то отлучился. На входе в здание днём сидит вахтёрша, и это тоже очень хорошо. Отель занимает два этажа. Нам достался номер на первом этаже. Не очень просторный для семьи с двумя детьми, но зато чистый, светлый, с шикарным видом из окна. Ванная просторная и в хорошем состоянии. В номере есть холодильник, чайник, бесплатные пакетики с чаем. Персонал отзывчивый и благожелательный. Когда мы выезжали их отеля, я плохо себя чувствовал, и девушка из России, работавшая на ресепшене, угостила нас горячим чаем и проявила внимание к детям. Было очень приятно, за что мы благодарны ей и всему персоналу отеля Ginebra. Mis mejores deseos

Мы отказались от завтрака, который отель предлагает в соседнем кафе за 8,5 евро с человека. В меню входят сэндвич, фруктовый сок, чай или кофе. Выбор небогатый, но цена для этой части города вполне приемлемая.

Such a pleasure to stay here. Highly recommended.

Best location!!! You are right at the heart and center of everything and access to transportation to go anywhere. The staff answered so many questions for me and gave wonderful advice to getting around. This is an older building with quirks of an older building but it was part of the authenticity of staying in a true older gem. I would stay here every time I traveled to Barcelona. As soon as you step out of the doors you are in the center of everything.

Great location and a good budget hotel. Would use again

Location you could not get better. Square opposite has all the bus and metro links most visitors would want, including the buses to and from the airport. It is a basic hotel, with very friendly and helpful staff. Bedrooms comfortable. Safety issue is not the hotel it is just Barcelona. Son had his wallet stolen in a bar. Hotel feels more the safe and you are on an open street with good lighting when entering. Super cafe just around the corner that does a good breakfast

This is a convenient and well priced option in Barcelona.

Hotel Ginebra has a great location and it was nice to have an outdoor balcony area looking out over Placa Catalunya. The room was a reasonable size and the price was also reasonable.

This hotel does not have a traditional lobby or entrance and access is a bit cramped. However they do have staff on duty 24 hours.

Don't expect 5 star.Its an old building with small rooms,bed was really comfortable,hot shower,safe box,fridge.We had the room between Hotel Ginebra sign 303.Its on a main crossroad,but with triple window shutter we slept like babies, staff were fantastic and informative on where and how to visit all the sights.Location is dead centre.5 mins walk to gothic quarters restaurants and bars.Metro directly outside,we used it to go Nou Camp and Sagrada Familia.Get Family ticket for €10 to share with partner and you get 8 trips between you on metro.La Taverna de Barcelona next door has live music,great ales and food all weekend till early hours.If you want luxury 5 star prison camps, 10 miles from all the fun with your Ferraris and Rolexs and yachts this ain't the place for you sad people.

Great access to airport, Eixample, Barri Gotic

The hotel's location was perfect for our needs. Easy access to the Aerobus and walkable to both the Eixample and the Barri Gotic. We arrived at the hotel before noon, hoping to check our luggage & were pleasantly surprised to be able to check-in early. The lobby was full of travel books & the desk clerk gave us a rundown of the city, drawing suggestions on a map for us. There was a small elevator, which we only used when handling our luggage. Our room had a balcony directly overlooking the Placa de Catalunya-- fabulous. Price was quite reasonable.

We had a bit of a challenge entering the hotel. There's a small doorbell system in the right, with a button for Hotel Ginebra, but there are other uses for the building & the front door is kept locked. The room color choices were odd, but not an issue.

Strongly Recommended

Fabulous hotel, cannot expect any better location. The staff are very friendly. I will definitely book the hotel again if I come to Barcelona next time. The only inconvenience I find is that there is no kettle in the room, you need to go to the reception floor to use the kettle and coffee machine there. But if you are used to drinking cold water then it's totally fine. Just sitting on the balcony is a good way to enjoy your time there.

Overall happy with my booking for this hotel for the short stay.

The location could not be any better. The staff is very helpful and friendly.

The size of the room is too small for two people. It would be perfect for a lone traveler.

Very good

Perfect location for a city vacation. Nice comfy beds and pillows. Had a room for four persona and all beds where real beds instead of a bed sofa or tent beds.

Narrow doors, no possibilities for breakfast. Hard for taxis to drop and pick up close to the hotel.

Great location and super nice stuff.

Location, location, location! The very center of the city, super close to everything. Very friendly and helpful stuff, thanks to Raz, Brandon and Noel. :-) Rooms are small, but have everything you need. Our room was cleaned daily, with beautiful view of Plaça de Catalunya, with small but useful balcony (if you smoke, as we do). Yes, a little pricey in a high season, but you know... location. :-) Overall, very happy with our stay there, safe and central place, we definitely recommend.
