Access to the beach and shops

The cooking range was very old and rusty. We could not cook decent meal as all the 4 cooking hobs were rusty and it would not heat the pan. Waited for 10 minutes to heat the pan but no luck. Had to cook dinner in microwave. The Oven was also temperamental. It burned our food had to increase and decrease the temperature and the oven knob was pretty hot. For the price paid, please change the cooking range so that the cook range can be decently used. If a family with kids wishes to cook, there is no way they can cook on old cooking range. The door latches in lounge room, bedroom and main door were broken and wonder why can't they be repaired when paid so much money.

Stayed here the night before a trip to fraser island. Located directly across from greyhound stop which was amazing, especially when we had a late arrival after a long day of travel.

A lovely hostel in a great town

The rooms are cosy, clean, and spacious. The ac worked very well, the beds comfortable, and linen clean. There is a great kitchen, and plenty of (covered) common spaces. Showers and toilets were OK, good hot water and pressure. Wi-Fi was fast and stable.

The showers and toilets are outside the room and in pretty much full view of the kitchen and lounge, not very comfortable at night....

The right place for chill and get some rest

Very chill vibe! My room was absolutely good. The bathrooms were clean. The kitchen is all equipped. Excellent pool. Awesome location. I`ll go back for sure

Location was great, short walk to beach to town. Staff when we did see were fantastic friendly looking for ways to improve. Place on a whole was clean. Private bathroom was great too.

It was what we expected. Crowded room with all the beds. Layout wasn't quite right. Beds were squeaky everytime someone moved it made a noise like playing with keys. I think the price though was a bit more for what it was considering I travel every second week to places I've had lot more for less. Wifi was absolutely shocking and worse when some kids couldn't use there devices cause too many people blocked it. No television etc in rooms. We had a ridiculous key/door situation as it was stuck so could take 5-10 minutes just to get in the door.

Small little Backpackers Hostel. Perfect when you're doing the Pippies Fraser Island tour.

Well located near the Greyhound station, this hostel also does a great tag along Fraser Island tour. So it's perfect for the night before and after.

Was a little bit cold and the reception close quite early. But they do organise everything ahead.
