Het huis nummer A was afgeschreven was defect met brommend tl licht een uitgewoond bed met onfris beddengoed. Geen laken. De douche had steenkoud water. We bleven 1 nacht betaalde ons deel en vertrokken. Het was echt een heftige teleurstelling. Heel jammer. Snel weg dus naar een mooi hotel richting Uvita

Pleasant, beautiful remote feeling with amenities close by. View over the valley was spectacular.

Location is gorgeous. Cabins are rustic but comfortable, with plenty of extra blankets which are needed overnight. Access to cabins is a little steep but in keeping with the mountain environment. Don't expect hot water for showers.

Unfortunately, our heater broke down overnight and the cabin was very cold as a result. Extra heaters, particularly in the larger cabins, would be helpful.

Good value. it is an excellent place to get a close touch with forest.

Lots of traile to walk around in the property. very nice views to the forest from the cabins. We were guided to a quetzal nest inside the property and actually had a close sight of the male.

a little La ho of maintenance: a broken light socket in the bathroom.

Great location, right in the middle of the forest. Quiet and beautiful. The wood stove was great to warm up at night.

The bathroom was not very clean. There was a mouse in the cabin and some droppings. The linen was a bit old hence not as confortable.

Very good

Wonderful rustic cabin high in the mountains, all as-promised or better. Peter and Francisca were very helpful with very good communication, and the caretaker was excellent, almost like a tour guide with his local knowledge. We had a great stay and would return.

A perfect way of getting the very best of San Gerardo - and that incredible scenery and birdlife

Everything provided to make our stay comfortable in an exquisite setting. Looking forward to staying in one of the self contained apartments next time. The trails were well worth doing - I spent at least half an hour with a quetzal, just sitting quietly in the forest.

Simple cabins on a wonderful spot

Comfortable cabins, very clean, with all equipment for a very good price. Heater included. As a family traveling we had plenty of space. We enjoyed the view, the peaceful surroundings and a great time in the precious mountains of San Gerardo. We could use the beautiful private trails hidden in the woods nearby. Thank you.

Nothing. Only if you look for a luxury lodge you need to go somewhere else.
