Absolut empfehlenswert.

Alles war für unsere Übernachtung perfekt. Sehr sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet. Bei Ankunft haben wir sogar Kaffee angeboten bekommen. Das Frühstück war topp (incl. Rührei mit Speck, Joghurt, frisches Obst).

Ab und zu Verkehrslärm, da direkt an der Straße (nach ein paar Autos hört man das aber nicht mehr). Leider schließt das Restaurant schon um 18:00 Uhr.

We were alone,and owner made us nice breakfast next morning. Perfect for a stopover on the way to Nordkapp.

Great place for the money.

The apartment was very nice and clean and had modern equipment such as a dishwasher, clothes washer/dryer. The food was excellent prepared by the owner.

The beds in one room were too soft.

Gem of Olderdalen

We were warmly welcomed by the lone woman who seems to do it all here! I read in the guestbook that she has also taken in travellers who were stranded or deterred by bad weather even when the hotel and restaurant were closed. She fixed a delicious dinner and put out quite a spread for breakfast. What an amazing find!

The restaurant closes at 18:00 but this did not affect us at all. You can still check in after that time.

Clean room and a decent breakfast

The rooms are located practically in the restaurant, terrible smell of sesame oil and Thai food, even in the bathroom! Awful coffee for breakfast (which is in fact OK). Everything in the village closed after 6 p.m., except one shop open till 7 p.m.

Great overnight stop but the town is dead

The size of the bedroom, the comfortable bed and that the cook stayed on to make me a dinner

There were two pillows in my room and both were too big. Such a small village there is nowhere else to eat and Hakon normally finishes at 6

Wonderful stay in Olderdalen

Plenty of room for multiple people. Well equipped apartment (dishwasher, washer, dryer) Excellent location near the ferry and beautiful Norwegian mountains. Convenience store on the opposite side of the street.

Nearby restaurant options are very limited.

Superb

Really big apartment, with all you may need for a short and longer stay. For us it was a stop for a night on the way from Nordkapp to Narvik - so, we did not bother too much about the location (just at the main road). Pls do not be scared with the info included in the apartment description about a shared bathroom - it is a private one dedicated to the apartment, but as there are 2 bedrooms it is shared between them 😀

In one bedroom there was a strange rubber smell.

Superb

The property is very clean and easy to find as few distance from ferry terminal. The restaurant was closed but the owner prepared the diner ( excellent) for me. The breakfast was with quantities and quality.
