Guests loved the welcoming atmosphere, well-stocked kitchen, beautiful backyard, and great communication with the owner. The house is perfect for families and groups, offering a comfortable and spacious stay.

A group of long time friends gathered in Boulder for a wedding, and a few of us stayed together at this property for the weekend. The house was perfect for us. The large, open living space provided a great communal setting for us to hang out, while the individual bedroom provided plenty of privacy when folks wanted to retire for the night. The location is in a quiet area that is a quick drive to the more action-packed downtown scene.
Communication with property owner (Joli) was great. She was on top of everything and made the whole experience easy and enjoyable.
Only thing that was a little different from what we expected is that one of the pictures shows a bunk room. However, none of the rooms actually has a bunkbed in it. This was just fine for our group, but it could throw others off.
All in all, an excellent house!

Quiet neighborhood, great location, kid friendly house. Joli is quick to reply to questions.

It is such a Joy to enter a home that is loved and lived in. To have that welcoming invitational energy is a treat. Plus having a home that is stocked with everything is an unexpected and very appreciated gift.

This place was just what we needed for our family to celebrate our son's wedding. The house was warm and welcoming, clean, well-appointed, and very kid-friendly. Nice yard for playing, relaxing, and eating. And great neighborhood - walkable, easy access to trails and downtown. Our host was helpful and responsive. We'd love to return.

Thanks to great hosts.

Excellent, as usual.

The best things about this house were the kitchen (those windows go on for miles... and it was incredibly well stocked) and the backyard, which is beautifully landscaped with two patio options as well as a hammock.
A warning to other small groups who may be booking this large home to accommodate many adults or a large family. The listing of the number of bathrooms is incorrect. The listing says "5 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms". However, you're only getting 3.5 bathrooms. There is a full ensuite bath upstairs, and another full bath upstairs. In the basement, there are 3 bedrooms but only 1 full bath. And then there's a half-bath on the main floor.

Our family was visiting Boulder for an extended weekend. We truly loved this home. We enjoyed easy access to downtown, we played tennis nearby every day, we relaxed on the back porch. The neighborhood is very quiet, and felt very safe. The communication with Joli was great. Honestly....could not be happier with our experience. Thank you!

There were 10 of us ranging in age from 25 to 81 in town for my son’s graduation. The place was perfect for our group. Great communication before and during our stay. The house was beautiful and well stocked. Also, the location was great, near a paved trail, a 5 minutes drive from campus and 10 from Pearl Street. Would definitely recommend this property!

Family oriented home
We had a wonderful experience with the owner, Joli. The home was exactly as described and pictured. The owner’s guide book provided valuable resources, suggestions, and FAQ’s. Our group consisted of my adult children and their spouses and my grandchildren ages ranged from 1 to 8. We were traveling to attend my nieces wedding. The owner provided a portable crib and high chair for the baby. The owner also provided puzzles, toys, and games for the children to play with. I cannot think of one aspect of our stay that would need improvement. We highly recommend staying in this home.

Family vacation in Boulder
We were 10 people from 3 immediate families (one extended family) vacationing for a week together. Bedrooms were quiet and comfortable. All bedrooms are up or down one level from the main living area. The kitchen / living space is spacious and comfortable, and the outside garden is private and lovely. We enjoyed our stay and the owner was responsive when we needed anything. Thank you, Joli.

Family-friendly home in a centralized location
My family and I rented Joli's home for four nights. The home was clean and met most of the needs of our large group (10 people). The kitchen was stocked. There were ample cleaning supplies, if needed, and laundry room included detergent. The location is convenient and in close proximity to bike paths, restaurants, and shopping.

Wonderful family home
We had a wonderful long weekend stay here. The owner sent over clear instructions for the house and entry. Everything was clean and well stocked. My kids had an awesome time playing with all the toys, the secret passageway, and outside. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice property and great location in Boulder. Easy access to all important sites and highways. Beautiful backyard was where we spent a lot of our time. Very kid friendly both inside and out. Outstanding property for kids! But all the adults enjoyed it as well.

Great Place in Boulder
We and our extended family stayed for a long weekend for our eldest daughter's Boulder wedding. The Owner was very responsive and the property is as advertised. Very clean, very bright, and expectations are set up front. Had a strange and brief communication exchange with one of the neighbors, but it was harmless. Did incur minor damage charge upon vacating but the Owner addressed the matter professionally. We would stay here again.

Boulder Oasis
Extremely relaxing and comfortable home. Open, airy with everything you need at your fingertips. The backyard patio garden was relaxing and beautifully landscaped. Plenty of room for large families to relax and enjoy. The proximity of the home to supermarkets, drugstores and campus made it a very convenient location, while maintaining a serene and relaxing atmosphere. The kitchen was well stocked so we were able to make breakfast and dinner every day. The owner is readily available and very helpful. The owner also left a notebook full of complete directions on how to use every appliance, places to see, places to eat, places to shop, couldn't get much better than that. It was just easy! We would definitely stay here again!

Everything was PERFECT!
We loved everything about this house and everything about the hosts! Not only was the space even more beautiful than depicted online (which didn't seem possible given how gorgeous the pictures looked), the way in which we were taken care of during the process of renting this space, upon arrival, throughout the rental, and then post rental had us NEVER wanting to leave!
The space was more than big enough for our group of 7 and the location was close enough to our downtown conference location but nestled in a quiet/quaint neighborhood that gave us the respite we all had hoped for. What set this experience apart from other VRBO rentals was the extra steps and personal touches from the host! Receiving a text upon arrival to welcome us into the home and to make sure we got in okay spoke volumes to me. The way in which the house is set up, we felt as though we had "come home" instead of being "away from home"!
I can't quite articulate the warmth and love we felt entering this space but it was THERE! Did I mention this house is GOREGOUS!!!?? Although we were there for a work related conference, many of us have children so we appreciated how the hosts also created this space while keeping families in mind. From board games, children's games, the wonderful pull down screen w/ projector to watch movies as a large group, the wonderful library of books for all ages, and the playful decor of the children's rooms....EVERYTHING was PERFECT!

Amazing place!Accomodates all ages/trip occasions!
From the first step inside this beautiful home to the last, simply a great experience!! Traveled here for Ironman Boulder woth my family (wife and 3 kids ages 3,5,7) and extended family (sisters, father and cousin with a kid age 3 as well).
You read reviews and although reviews I reas where good, there is always a bit of a heaitation before arriving. All those "hesitations" went away immediately. The place was immaculate, very well distributed and extremely kid friendly.
They had a guest hand book which went into all the details regarding the house. I was looking for the washer and dryer, went to the guest handbook and found it there. Needed to see how the projector worked, went to guest hand book and found it there. Ceiling fan and lights? Yep you guessed it! Guest handbook!! Very easy and detailed instructions:)
Place was big with a hue and very pretty back yard. Located in a cool de sac in a very nice and quiet neighborhood, minutes away from Boulder! (Like 2 miles from Pearl Street if I recall correctly).
This is a place where you can come and find some piece and quiet time or come to have a good time with friends. In our case, we were here for the race but had our kids to entertain. Well the house is extremely well equipped to handle kids! With even a "secret passage" for kids that would go from one room to another! A good place for tuem to "camp out" while being inside the house. The house has a main level (where the kitchen, dining and living area is), an upper level (master bedroom with own bath an office, a second bedroom, and another bath), and the lower (3 bedrooms, another living area and a bath. Even the rooms are awesome! Some with slides, others with monkey bars, and some more adult friendly rooms (meaning no kids ammenities) as well.
All in all our entire group was EXTREMELY satisfied woth our stay and I would HIGHLY recomment this place for any time of the year visit!!!! Would definitely come here again. Easy to talk to the owner for questions but during our stay we really did not have to reach out as we found all the information needed on the guest handbook.
AWESOME PLACE!!!
Thanks!!!

ideal for families!
My cousins and I recently had a reunion over the July 4th weekend. We had 11 adults, 1 kid, and 4 toddlers. There was plenty of space for all of us and everyone had a wonderful time.
Joli was easy to communicate with ahead of time. The home was clean, well-maintained, and beautiful. The owners were out of town, but left us a nice note and a bottle of wine. Initially, we couldn't find the keys to the guest cottage, but a phone call to the property manager took care of the one issue quickly. She was very responsive anytime we had any questions during our stay and was even kind enough to mail back some items we left behind.
I loved the yard and back porch. Inside, there were tons of toys that all the kids had fun playing with. The adults enjoyed watching movies on their big screen and projector. With such a big group, we ended up eating all our meals in. The spacious kitchen and open layout made it ideal to cook while keeping an eye on the little ones. Definitely a bonus that the pantry was well stocked with spices, olive oil, etc.
Location was perfect - very central and easy to get to places. We spent one afternoon downtown and another morning doing a short hike, but most of the time was spent just hanging out in the beautiful home. I highly recommend this property!

GREAT FIT FOR OUR FAMILY OS 12 IN HOUSE AND CABIN
our FAMILY WAS TRILLED WITH THE HOUSE!! TOO BAD IT TOOK THE 6 YR OLD UNTIL SUNDAY NIGHT TO FIND THE SECRET PASSAGE ;) THIS WAS A 1ST TIME FOR US TO DO ANYTING LIKE THIS AND IT WORKED WELL. WE DID NOT HAVE TIME FOR TV BUT YOU MIGHT WANT TO MENTION THAT IN THE INFO. WE ARE NOT TECHNICAL FOLKS SO THE KIDS HAD TO SHOW US HOW TO USE ALL THE NEW UP TO DATE APPLAIANCES AND WE DID REFER TO THE MANUALS. NOT A BAD THING THE HOUSE AND YARD GETS 5 STARS FROM THE SMIEDENDORFS!!!

Wonderful home for a multiple-family stay
Three brothers and our families stayed here over Thanksgiving and had a terrific stay. The home is beautiful, very clean and well-appointed. Plenty of space to spread out and even with 6 adults and 7 kids we never seemed like we were on top of each other. Kids ranged from 4-13 and they spent a lot of time hanging out in the basement, running around the backyard, and playing outdoors at a park that was an easy walk from the home. We cooked several dishes for a large Thanksgiving dinner and found all the pots, pans and utensils we needed in the well-stocked kitchen. (If you are new to induction stove-tops just be sure you are using a compatible pan otherwise it may not work.) Handbook for the house is helpful and the owners were very responsive to questions and happy to provide suggestions. Easy access to Boulder and sites around the area. No cable or satellite for live sporting events but Roku player and I think some other internet-based content was available. If you are a coffee nut, don't miss the Ozo coffeehouse nearby - stellar espresso drinks! We would go back without hesitation.

Great visit to Boulder
Had a wonderful, first time visit to Boulder due in large part to this great VRBO home. The house was perfect with ample space, ideal location, and superb hospitality. Plenty of space for 7 adults and lots to do (projector, bbq, stereo).
Highly recommend!

Awesome place to call home!
We rented this house for the few days leading up to our wedding so the bridal party family could stay there, and this home was an excellent choice! The home is beautiful with great amenities, great bedrooms and bathrooms. My husband and family said "what's not to love about this place!" We had 5 kids staying with us and they were entertained the whole time. Joli also checked in with us during the trip to make sure were getting our needs met. The house is very conveniently located and has great access to trails. We really feel like we got an awesome value and having the family all together under one roof was priceless. We made some good memories here!

stunning home with a great location
As a family of 8 we came to Colorado to get my niece settled into her dorm room at CU and check out what Colorado was all about. The house was immaculate! The kitchen was all upgraded and had everything we needed to prepare family meals. There was plenty of room for all of and then some. The backyard and landscape were beautiful. The large couch and giant TV screen were great for movie watching at night. The bathrooms were well stocked with towels & TP.
The location was perfect. Close to grocery shopping, Target (for all those dorm needs :), and Pearl St.
The owners of the home were helpful and available by email when we needed help with the TV system.
The only reason I'm not giving the house a 5 star even tho I LOVED this house is because of the seating situation. The dining table was a low one with pillows on the ground. Most of us are over the age of 50 and had a hard time being comfortable and getting up from the floor. There are 4 stools at the counter. We ended up standing around the counter and eating and some of us ate outside at the patio table. We would have preferred to all eat together as a family.
But really, that is a minor complaint to most people who might not be so creaky in the joints as were are, haha.

Beautiful home in Boulder!
My family and I stayed at this home for a total of 5 days. We were very impressed at how turn key the house was. The owners clearly knew what amenities, etc visitors would need to make it feel like a home away from home. On top of that the house is beautiful, well kept, and the owners were very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. It's an especially great house for anyone who will be staying with kids. Other features include being less than .5 mile from CU campus, a mile away from Pearl Street, and a mile away from Chataqua park which provides great hiking/climbing, etc. Would highly recommend and we hope to be back some day!
