A lovely stay.

Lovely room, staff very friendly, nice having the 10% discount in the bar for residents - the cocktails were lovely. Some lovely restaurants for lunch nearby and walkable into the old town in 15/20 mins for dinner.

Only little niggles. There was a glass panel across the toilet door that was not very private. Breakfast was OK but not notable. I would definitely consider staying again though.

Exceptional

Amazing stay. We wish we stayed longer. Beach was across the road. Sun chairs and Umbrella provided to guests which is great. Rooms were quite large with great views. Pool was a great way to relax .. Service was fantastic. Filio and the team were great. We will be back

Exceptional

Perfect location, just in front of the sandy beach and 15 min walking distance from the beautiful old town. The hotel has own sunbends free for the guest after ordering some drinks, coffee or snacks from the bar, beach service is also available. The breakfast was various, sweets and salty dishes, local cheese, orange juice, etc. The staff was very friendly, prepared us breakfast packs when we left early morning to an excursion tour. The pool was also nice and a good place if you want to hide in the shadows from the extremely hot weater. Room was not big, but enough for 2 person, clean, pair of towels for the beach as well and were changed every day.

The neighborhoor was a little bit noisy, especially the glass selective containers, which were cleaned out every night/dawn.

Everything was great, the staff were really friendly and super nice and not only with the guest but in general, they even upgraded us to an ocean view room which was exceptional and really a great surprise (we had a pretty rough day getting to the island before that).

I miss this place already

Don’t miss out on this place We had such a great time at Ammos Suites! The room was bright and spacious enough for two. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony and sipping the complementary wine that waited for us in there, watching the sunset and just relaxing after a long day of sightseeing. The pool seemed great (quite small) but to be honest, the beach was so close, so well-kept and pampering – that we didn’t even get to try it! Breakfast was modest but tasty, and we were so grateful that the staff were attentive to the fact that we are both vegans (we were offered vegan cheese, a spinach pastry and sauteed mushrooms). Filios and Irene, at the front desk, were very kind and helpful. Would go back to Ammos Suites; highly recommend it.

Minor issues, really... The mattress was quite soft; the water pressure in the shower was a bit weak.

Very good

The breakfast was amazing with a view of the sea. It was very easy to park next to the hotel. The room was very nice as well. We have also got a present as it was our honeymoon. All in all it was a nice week for us :)

We had a lot of trouble with the aircondition.

Great hotel for Rethymnon city exploration, beach, cozy, convenient location near historical centre!

I loved the breakfast on the restaurant terrace with beach view, the small but quiet outdoor pool in the patio, and the central location on the beach (about 1 km distance to old city)

Fantastic stay

Great location. Only a 10 minute walk to the Old town but there are great restaurants and bars near Ammos so you dont need to venture out if you don't want. Staff are wonderful and very nice. Rooms are clean and spacious. Breakfast really good. Lots of options

Charming hotel for great holiday

The hotel is very charming, with lots of carefully picked details. We've stayed in apartment for 4 persons and it was pretty spacious with beautiful terrace. Swimming pool is small but cozy when the waves are wild. Hotel manager and staff were very friendly and helpful.

-Very friendly staff, the owner Filio who greeted us, was very nice, helped us with everything we asked her and was always around when we needed something -Location is right on beach, with a nice sea view. -The terrace where the breakfast was served is excellent -The pool is small but for our kids was ok and they enjoyed it

Maybe only the noise from the traffic on the street right in front of the hotel. The street in front of the hotel, to the seaside, is heavily circulated and sometimes at night loud motorcycles would be noisy, if sleeping with the windows open

Very nice beach location with walkable distance to Rethymnon old town. Pleasant staff, adequate breakfast. Very nice room with a large balcony and seaviews. Multiple restaurants and tavernas within a walking distance.

A samall quantity of breakfast items on display at once, but understandable to keep it fresh.

Superb

Location. Right on the beach in Rethymno and if you buy a drink you can use the sun beds all day . The staff were excellent! So kind as I was travelling alone

Incredibly friendly staff and very clean property

We felt very welcomed at Ammos Suites. At our arrival the hotel manager offered us directly a raki, and even made me a little surprise for my birthday. The entire staff was very attentive and friendly. The room was beautiful, well designed and we had a wonderful view on the beach. We can highly recommend Ammos Suites and would choose it all over again.

AMAZING!

The manager that received us! & everything else! For the price we paid the room was spacious; the bed was comfortable, the location was perfect! We had an early checkout (before breakfast) the a manager got us a breakfast to go the night before. They gifted us with welcome shots & a bottle of wine! Warmest welcome we’ve got in all our trips around the world! All this for $100 Canadian dollars

Enjoyed the stay a lot

The staff is amazing! Everyone very helpful. Specially Filio, she really made us feel super welcomed and gave us great recommendations during our stay. Location of the hotel right in front of the beach also great !

Good size rooms with balcony, working table, couch. Close to the beach, nice pool. Walking distance 20min or so on nice walkway to Rethymno old town.
