Very good

This place was perfectly what I expected. My room was in the 2nd floor, large room with balcony to east with morning sun, and south/west with evening sun. Small bathroom as you know it in greek style, kitchen clean and appropriate for cooking, with toaster and water boiler e.g. the house is located a bit outside of Stoupa, short walk, and a quiet place to stay!

Location and friendly staff

The property had 3 dogs. Dog barking in the night disturbed our sleep. A very quiet location spoilt by dog barking.

Very good value for quiet, basic accommodation in excellent location.

Spacious room with good sized balcony with table and chairs facing sunsets. Mosquito door. Very big comfortable bed, table and chairs, and a useful kitchen area with equipment to make simple meals if you want. Good plentiful hot water for the shower. Very good location, quiet with sea views, set in olive groves. A 10 minute walk takes you into the village and beach with bars and lovely restaurants. Quiet at this time of year. In the other direction a couple of hundred metres takes you to a paved walking/ jogging/cycling path along the coast for 3 kms beside the sea all the way to the next cute village along, about 40 minutes for us.

Our balcony was the middle one and lacked privacy from those on each side. It was a little dated, and needed some upkeep. The toilet cistern workings needed replacing and as a result flushing the toilet was unpredictable! Sometimes wouldn't refill. A simple and inexpensive job, I hope they fix this. One of the wall light bulbs was missing. The kettle did not turn off as the lid kept popping up and very hot steam escaped. A modern shower cubicle would be much nicer than shower curtains.

Lovely relaxing stay in basic, peaceful apartment, would happily return!!

Great quiet location in olive grove, close to coastal path to villages nearby, wonderful view onto the trees and sea! Very reasonable price, friendly, helpful owner! :-)

We had a slight issue with the toilet flush not working properly, but this didn't stop us from enjoying our stay!

A gem

We were really not expecting much given the price. We'll maintained, spacious, comfortable with beautiful views from the big balcony. Very peaceful.

living in an olive grove at the sea

The location is amazing: Surrounded by olive trees with view of the sea! A short walk from Stoupa beach means you only hear birds, cicadas and the sea. We loved it!

The room was simple but we had all we need: little pantry, bathroom is slightly dated but working, beds are good and big… the best bit is the lovely balcony!

Peaceful and relaxing.

The view from the balcony - over the olive groves to the sea - was lovely. Easy to walk into town (5 minutes), or out along a footpath to the much quieter Aghios Nikolaos (25 minutes).

Peaceful and relaxing.

Another wonderful stay at this lovely apartment. Its 'no frills' but its clean, comfortable, beautiful location and peaceful. Its a short walk to the beaches and restaurants but far enough away to feel like you are quite remote and rural. I love it and when I return to Stoupa again, hopefully in the near future, it will be top of my list. The only thing worth mentioning is that if you find walking difficult because of the necessary walk to the town, this may not be suitable for you.

Exceptional

It is situated in an olive grove. The balcony looks onto the sea. Despite being less than 5 minutes from the town it felt like being in the deepest countryside. The hosts are extremely friendly and even drove me to Kardamyli my next destination at the end of my stay!

wonderful family that took care of the property

I think one needs a car in order to see the beautiful villages in the mountains. tours were not available at this time

As an older woman traveling alone without a car, I did a lot of walking but that is good for anyone. beautiful bike and walking path along the sea to St.Nicholas village

Peaceful and excellent value for money

Self catering apartment on edge of Stoupa about 10 minute walk to town. Simply but adequately furnished studio apartment with bathroom. Clean, shower always hot, quiet with lovely views. Well made up road to the property, free parking. Close enough to walk easily to all the Stoupa facilities but far enough away to be quiet and peaceful. Stayed here in Sept 2020 and loved it. Would love to return again as soon as possible.

Really cant fault the apartment. Some may find the road a little dark at night. Because its rural, quite a lot of animal noise, cockerels, goats etc not noisy as such but cant help but notice them especially in the morning !
