We were travelling with our elderly parents and we all enjoyed it.

Room quiet and comfortable, overlooking garden. Breakfast was laid out, coffee was good, and the bread was fresh. No other guests ate while we did so it was very quiet. Located close to Ypres and perfect for our requirements.

It was good enough for us and our needs!

A Superb place to stay close to Ypres. We will be back.

Very comfortable spacious room - very clean, clean towels when required. Breakfast was plentiful with wide range of choices. Service was exceptional.

I hadn't realised that the hotel was situated outside Ypres. I maybe missed this information. SATNAV would have helped us!

okay but not worth the money.

nice bed, good airconditioning and pretty quiet.

- the rooms in the hotel feel like an afterthought. it feels like they are just there for after a weddingparty. The staff was a bit busy busy with serving their guests a menu. - there was a lot of noise from other guests. - I really didn’t think it was worth the price.

Beautiful property, great breakfast and Evelyne the receptionist was absolutely charming.

Location 6km out of town in very quiet but beautiful area. Would prefer to be in the centre of Ypres.

Lovely small boutique hotel, immaculately clean. Very helpful and friendly staff. Good breakfast. Lovely gardens to sit and have a drink.

We would stay here again.

Beautiful hotel set in a tranquil garden, about 12 minutes drive from Ypres market square and the Menin Gate. Clean, comfortable with lovely owners and a delicious continental breakfast. The location is perfect if you are driving, close enough to the centre without the noise.

We loved everything about Hotel De Lissewal. One slight problem on the second night/morning of our stay, the lift wasn't working. Understandably, these things do happen. It did cause a slight problem for my elderly parents but Bless them they managed.

Heating didn't work. Asked for help with it. That didn't work. When I said it to manager/owner in the morning his answer was that we were doing it wrong. He said you can't get the help nowadays. He obviously knew we had a problem but did nothing about it. It was clean and bathroom was beautiful
