About this house rental
Completely remodeled and redecorated from top to bottom, everything is new. Starting with the enlarged and covered, private, master bedroom balcony, we didn't stop until all rooms were updated. The 'all new' list includes: Bathrooms, appliances, counter tops, plumbing fixtures, reconfigured laundry room, tankless hot water heater, tile, fans and lighting, wainscoting, closet and pantry systems, carpet, paint, hardwood floors and hardware. You've got to see it to believe it!

Fun and Games is located in the highly desirable, family friendly, gated community of Summers Edge in Seagrove Beach. South of Scenic Hwy 30A, the location provides carefree beach and pool access in a bike and pedestrian friendly neighborhood. Located adjacent to the 18 mile bike path running the length of Hwy 30A, bike trips to restaurants, shops, Seaside and Watercolor are a breeze. The new Greenway Station with shops and restaurants is right across the street from Summer's Edge. The neighborhood has 2 beautiful pools (1 heated in cooler months) and a charming dedicated beach access (no private beach concerns) all within 150 yards (5 minute walk) of the house with no busy streets to cross. The very large Eastern Lake Public Beach access is also in our neighborhood so you have 2 beach access options.
Inside and out, 'Fun and Games' is your perfect beach retreat, ideal for families or couples. The screened front porch with double mahogany doors is the perfect place for morning coffee, afternoon chats, and evening cocktails. Inside you will find a Pottery Barn perfect, large great room with double ceiling fans. With room for everyone, enjoy family movie night or choose from the extensive supply of games and start a family game night tradition. The spacious, meticulously stocked, cooks kitchen overlooks the great room so no one is left out. The kitchen has all stainless steel appliances, ample room for multiple cooks, and a large pantry. The dining room seats 6 comfortably and the large breakfast bar seats 4 more. We have also provided a Weber gas grill outdoors for your grilling needs.
The master bedroom makes up the entire second floor, making it your own private retreat. It has an extremely comfortable king sized bed, large walk in closet, personal TV, a beautiful writing desk and a reading chair with ottoman. French doors open on to a private outdoor deck with a bar height table and chairs. The spacious master bath has double sinks and a very large shower. The master retreat is your own special vacation.
The 2 additional charming bedrooms are on the main floor and they share a Jack and Jill bath. The first bedroom has bunk beds with a trundle (3 twins) and a double bed. The closet in this room has been organized to efficiently hold clothes for several children and there is a personal TV. The second bedroom has a queen sized bed and a personal TV. The large Jack and Jill bath has double sinks and a bathtub/shower. All bedrooms have personal TVs and ceiling fans.
Additionally, downstairs there is a full laundry room and a separate powder room off the kitchen.
Outdoors there is a wonderful, large and private outdoor shower with hot and cold water. It is heavenly on warm days, cool days and even in the rain! Once you try it, you will be hooked.
Seagrove Beach is in the heart of the beautiful 18 mile stretch of the Gulf commonly know as 30A. With its pristine, sugar sand, uncrowded beaches and rare fresh water lakes the area is pure unspoiled Florida, a beach lovers dream and a nature lovers fantasy. There are many authentic beach towns to explore along Scenic Hwy 30A, Seaside, Watercolor, Grayton Beach, Alys Beach and Rosemary Beach, just to name a few. My wife and I, along with our adult children, their spouses and our 10 month old granddaughter had an absolutely wonderful stay! The home was immaculate and well equipped with everything we needed. The beds were
comfortable, the bathroom towels were soft…and the list goes on! The home is beautifully decorated and it’s a short walk to both the beach and pool! We couldn’t have asked for more! The owners responded promptly to our questions. This was our first time to the area and it was gorgeous. We also took advantage of the many games that were provided at the home. Such a wonderful time!

The home was absolutely perfect for my family of five—three teenagers aged 19, 19, and 17. It was a short walk to the beach and even closer to coffee shops, dining options, and ice cream. I would highly recommend and we will be booking our next beach trip stay at this home.

This was my family's 1st trip to 30A area of Florida panhandle. I was very pleased with our home that we rented Fun and Games in the Seagrove Beach area. The owner Laurie was very responsive to any questions that I had throughout our stay. I received responses from her within minutes of asking questions which was very much appreciated. I am a person that highly values customer service, and Laurie (owner) exceeded my expectations for customer service. She made me feel like that she truly wanted us to enjoy our stay. This property was very nice with updated kitchen appliances and extremely clean. It really felt like a "home away from home". It is amazing how clean this property was considering that it is a rental. I felt like we walked into someone's personal home instead of a rental property which is above and beyond what I expected. You are truly walking distance within 3-5 minutes to the beach, coffee shop, ice cream shop, multiple restaurants/shops nearby. The area seemed to be very safe for families with lots of kids/parents riding bikes and walking freely with no issues all week on our stay. Thank you Laurie for providing an excellent experience for our family on vacation.

Communication before arrival was very thorough, house was clean, well-stocked, and in a perfect location! We loved were able to walk for dinner, morning coffee, ice cream, and enjoyed the proximity to the pool and beach. 30A can be crowded, but we found this house to be tucked away in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood.

I cannot say enough about how wonderful Fun is. We are so thankful to have found this property. The home has everything you need, very clean, comfortable beds and is beautifully decorated making you feel like you are on vacation the minute you step on the property, The master suite upstairs is incredible with a nice large bathroom and large closet. WE enjoyed coffee every morning on the screened in porch with the lovely landscaping. The home has plentiful games and puzzle we enjoyed. I love the tree lined street and the proximity to the beach and not having to cross 30A.. I highly recommend getting the chair service. It was a game changer for us having our chairs all set up and not having to haul anything back and forth. We are glad we took Lauries advice and booked a month in advance as It seems like most beach goers are using the chair service now. Also, the shops across 30A are a great addition to the area. We enjoyed ice cream multiple nights at Pecan Jacks and visited the shops and we always enjoy Beachy Bean which is very close. Laurie was absolutely great with her communication. She told you everything you needed along the way and answered all my questions promptly. Just could not have asked for a better stay on 30A...we WILL be back to this property and hopefully for a longer stay next time.

We really loved the house and it was ideal for getting to restaurants, the pool, beach, and Seaside, while the street itself is very pretty and was safe for our young kids to ride their bikes. We really loved the screened porch. Everything in the house was clean and in great condition and there wasn’t anything we needed during our stay. The host was very responsive and the check-in/out processes were very easy.
We had no idea how crowded the area is with middle and high schoolers during spring break, so it would be nice to visit during a quieter time.

Beach access was close, but the chair rental people put cones up that limited where you could go, and also told us we were not able to be in front row that only they could set up there (even though we woke up very early to get a spot).

This was our 2nd family vacation stay and we again loved it so much! Perfect location for getting to the beach, doing regular things like groceries and restaurants, and heading out to the path for a run in the morning. Laurie is a great host and her home is well-maintained, comfortable, in a beautiful neighborhood, and with a well-stocked kitchen. Here's the easiest way to summarize our stay, as I've said it before, we didn't want the vacation to end!

I couldn’t pull my teenagers out of the outdoor shower. They put on their Bob Marley music and felt like they were in the Caribbean. My oldest snuck one in on check out day- went out there at 5am!

Fantastic house in a great location!
We had a wonderful stay at "Fun and Games". The house was very clean and very well organized. We really appreciated that the kitchen was not just well stocked- but well stocked with quality cookware. The couches, beds and porch furniture were also high quality and comfortable- something you do not find in many rental houses. Even the small organizational thoughts in the furnishings- all the hooks and baskets- made it easier to keep the house tidy during our stay. The instructions left by the owners clearly communicate everything you need to know for your stay. We were able to easily communicate to establish an agreement to bring along our older dog. Finally, the neighborhood is located off the bustle of 30A (but still within walking distance of some restaurants) and is a very nice shaded street with a town-like feel and easy access to the beach. After they learned the directions, we were comfortable allowing our children to walk to and from the beach on their own together. We would definitely stay here again!

This property was great....there were absolutely no surprises, which was amazing. Everything in this house is quality, from the Kitchen appliances, beds, bedding (lots of extra sets of sheets and pillows) furniture, washer & dryer, stereo system, etc. We absolutely loved this house and I would recommend this property to anyone. The other reviews are correct. Great house. Responsive, helpful owners. Everything is top notch, beautiful, but also relaxed and comfortable . The main bed and pillows were great. Not many rentals can you say that! Other beds seem to be as well. The street of N Ryan is quieter and a great spot with less foot traffic but with easy pool and beach access. We will be back at Fun & Games!!!

Loved this house so much! The location is perfect, easy walk to beach and pools. The street is quiet and ideal for families. Our favorite spot was the front porch though the living room couches are so comfortable I want to buy them for my home! The house is clean, nicely updated and has everything you could possibly need to make the perfect beach trip. Hope to be back soon!

Lovely Home
We have stayed off of Ryan st several times in different homes. It’s our go to area and a perfect location for our family. This home is by far the best one on the street. It was extremely clean and communication with the owner was excellent! We stayed for Thanksgiving and the kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to make Thanksgiving dinner! We absolutely loved this home and will definitely be staying again!

We had a family of four plus mother-in-law and auntie in tow. Everyone had their own space and the house is even better than the pictures. Laurie was gracious and accommodating and happy to talk or text whenever we had questions. The furnishings and appliances were high end and linens were plush. The house is a short walk to the pools and the beach walkover. We would love to stay again!
