About this apartment rental
Seamist is a private, 12 unit only condo building with spectacular, oceanfront views both from inside the unit and from the top-floor balcony (unit #3) of the pristine white sands and crystal clear waters of the Emerald Coast. It is nestled immediately between Seaside Beach & Watercolor Resort and Alys & Rosemary Beach.
This condo is a beautiful one bedroom (with king-sized bed)/one bath with an additional set of twin stacking bunk beds and a new sleeper sofa in the oceanfront-facing LR that sleeps up to 6. Unit 3 is crisp, clean and extremely welcoming. The brand new kitchen is fully equipped with all the dishware and appliances you will need. There is easy seating for 8 between the bar and dining table. Also included: wifi, full-sized/stacked w/d, 2 grilling areas on a small, nice green lawn for the kids to play on while the sun begins to set.
You will enjoy having the entire condo to yourself. I have a wonderful property manager that lives in the area and is available if you have any problems. My husband and I are available by phone, text, or email to answer any questions you might have.
Seamist on Scenic Highway 30A offers easy access to scenic hike and bike trails along the coast; deep-sea diving and other ocean activities at marinas in both Panama City Beach and Destin; shopping and browsing of art galleries and boutiques at Seaside, Watercolor and the surrounding beach communities; golfing at award-winning courses such as Camp Creek, Shark's Tooth, Origins and Santa Rosa Beach Golf & Beach Club; extraordinary dining from barefoot beachfront to world-class cuisine; and unique local entertainment impossible to resist such as farmer's markets, free outdoor repertory theater each evening and many live bands and musicians. In the end, though, the memories of moving on 'beach time' and of the peace and relaxation that comes from the sound and beauty of the crashing waves on the white sands and from breathtaking sunsets will be what you will likely enjoy the most.
The 30A sidewalk runs in front of the condo which many people use to bike to Alys Beach (1.5 miles east), Rosemary Beach (2 miles east), The Hub (an outdoor entertaining and casual dining area 1 mile west), and of course Seaside (6 miles west). Renting bikes is easy. There are lots of reasonably priced vendors in the area and they deliver and pick up the bikes to/from the condo - even if you aren't there at the time.
A single parking pass is left in the condo for you and is required to remain on your windshield during your stay. While each guest receives a parking pass, we sometimes have non-guests use our parking lot. Cars that don't have the parking pass clearly visible may get towed at the owner's expense. Sorry for the inconvenience, but not having a parking space is more inconvenient ;) There are fences that restrict beach access to guests only. All guests will receive detailed driving directions prior to arrival.
Cleaning Process
o Extra time is allowed for enhanced cleaning procedures.
o Surfaces are cleaned and then disinfected, in two distinct steps.
o A bleach solution is used on surfaces for disinfecting. The solution is allowed to linger on the surface.
o Cleaning crews use hand sanitizer as they leave their vehicles.
o Cleaning personnel follow CDC handwashing guidelines throughout the day.
o Cleaning crews use masks and disposable gloves.
o As always, remote check-ins eliminate face-to-face interactions.
o Cleaning crews put on fresh gloves after handling dirty linens.
o Blankets/comforters are removed for laundering and replaced with a freshly washed item.

This was booked as a last minute trip for my husband and I. It turned out perfect for us. The condo had what we needed. Close to the water and easy access from the first floor.

This rental was great! Being on the first floor made trekking up and down from the beach so easy! The house was well stocked, clean, and the beds were comfy!! Beach was private, which was great but people would walk down from the public beach looking for space. Recommend putting your chairs down when you wake up! Lots of great memories made!

The condo looked like the pictures. The location is wonderful! The shower curtain eas moldy, but the owners were quick to respond to resolve that issue. We also noticed several dlats were missing off of the blinds, which wasn't a big deal to us. The last day, when we went to use the dishwasher for the 1st time, there were dirty dishes left from whoever was there before. We didn't notify because we were leaving, we just started it up. There were plenty of towels and kitchen supplies. We loved the balcony, outdoor shower, and decor. The kids loved the giant dolphin and sea turtle pillows on the bunk beds. We would definitely stay again!

The views from the unit are amazing, steps away from the beach. The condo was clean, extremely comfortable for the two of us. Both the beds and pillows are very comfortable. We would definitely stay there again. Jessica was there for us if we needed anything, and helped with one small issue we had.

Rest and relaxation
This property had a beach view porch and was right on the beach. We had lounge chairs and spent a major amount of our trip on the porch or on the beach.

Amazing view but…
We enjoyed the view and location of the property. I had to report black mold in the dishwasher, sand pile on the porch, abroken screen-door and missing blind pieces. I was asked to clean the mold with bleach myself. We had to rearrange blind pieces ourselves since it was viewing everything from outside at night.

Can’t wait to go back!
Amazing property directly on the beach. Waking up and enjoying coffee and a book on the patio was one of my favorite parts. Everything we needed was available and Jessica was a fabulous communicator. Will be booking again as soon as dates come out for school breaks. Lovely vacation.

Great Stay
The good: Perfect spot on the beach, the steps down to the beach straight off of the patio are a rare thing, owner was communicative and helpful, bikeable to all of 30A, comfy a/c, easy access to place, good parking.
Drawbacks: Not walkable to many places (but bikeable), patio sliding door needs better locking method (won't go into detail in case this review is made public).
Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to friends.

Quick Getaway
We stayed 2 nights here, and really enjoyed our time. The beachy/sea life decor was cute, the rooms were cozy with lots of pillows, but what we loved most was how close we were to the beach. For the price, it was worth it to us, we would stay here again. Sadly, there was a lot of trash under the boardwalk stairs down to the beach area. We picked up the trash that we could reach to help clean it up a little. We loved Raw & Juicy which is just down the road in the Alys Beach district. We also ate at George's which was good, and Shades which was ok.

Perfect condo for my family
This condo was perfect for my family of 4. Clean, updated, perfect location, easy access to the beach and the TVs had Netflix and disney+ (perfect for my fam). Communication with the owners was great, easy to get a hold of and responsive to any issues. And the beach was beautiful! We will be back.

Awesome rental!
We really enjoyed our stay at the Seamist. The bottom level was such an added bonus. It was so convenient to walk up the stairs and shower off and be able to walk directly on to the patio. The condo had everything we needed and was very clean. The location was perfect and we enjoyed biking to Rosemary and Seagrove on the bike path. Jessica, the owner, responded right back to me with any questions I had. We are looking forward to our next beach trip and will definitely stay here again.

Best Friends wedding
My husband and I stayed in this unit for my best friends wedding. it was perfect for the 2 of us. we had other friends that stayed in the same building so it was very easy to get together during the day, and love having our own private place to escape at night. the beach is steps from the unit and very easy to access. Perfect weekend spot!

This condo is so beautiful and in the perfect location. My family and I had the best time! My kids loved playing in the yard and going to the beach was so easy!! Jessica is so nice and answered whatever questions we had! Highly recommend staying here!!

Absolutely fantastic property and host!
Jessica clearly put some thought into making guests feel at home in this gorgeous condo. She has fully equipped the kitchen and stocked the place with high quality linens, towels, and blankets. The view is fantastic and being on the first floor means the sand is just steps away. I spent most of my time on the patio enjoying the ocean breeze, seagulls and watching for dolphins.
This is a great value and I'll be back to visit as soon as I can!
