It was a comfortable stay but very expensive considering the city I stayed.

I liked the comfort and the location. It was a really good place.

I did not like the high price and I consider it could be a better value for money.

A good place to stay. Value for money!!

good breakfast and excellent location

Dirty or too old shower curtain. We moved to another room due to that reason. At the next morning they were changed by new ones.

no outside windows + it is not a guesthouse - it is a family house, where the family lives and receives guests, so you have to go through their private spaces (than hear them) - and you are not able to entry or leave the house, if they are not there ... it is good to know about this set up in advance

A brilliant location but an odd room. A bit claustrophobic.

The location was brilliant. Very close to the main plaza but quiet. Breakfast was good and the staff were friendly.

The bedroom had no window to the outside, just one into an internal roofed sort of courtyard. The shower was weak with unreliable hot water.

Centrally located. Friendly staff.

Note that you have to pay CASH at the hostal. The rooms on the ground floor do not have external windows. If you try to take a shower and the washing machine is running there will be no water. One of the towels smelled musty and horrible but the other was crisp and white and clean. Breakfast was adequate. No fruit or eggs. instant coffee. I felt that it was overpriced.

The lady in charge is very nice and helpful. It's very informal: as if I were living in the house with them. I could use the kitchen, the fridge, use cutlery and dishes, then wash them, etc. That was great 👍

Although we were in summer, it was cold at night. The room was small and the bathroom was cold.

Clean and comfortable but loud

Our room was clean, large and comfortable. Fast wifi. Good location in Castro. We consistently had hot water even with an unexpected power outage.

The Hostal was very loud. We could hear our fellow guests very clearly as well as the family who resides there. In particular it was very irritating to have to listen to their two children who were up quite late running around. I would not have booked with this hostel if I had known there were children living at the property.

Good place to stay in Castro

Good location in Castro close to the plaza des armas and approx. 10 minutes walk from the bus terminal. The single private room was comfortable: spacious enough, comfy bed and proper bathroom (including good shower). The host is very helpful (and speaks English fluently). Good WiFi and quite complete breakfast.

Nice location near centre of Castro

Very busy business about 8 rooms all occupied. Busy at the (simple) breakfast in the morning. The owners are quite helpful.
