Best lovely and quiet Riad in Marrakech. A must!!!!!

Absolutely fantastic riad. In a very quiet location although super close to the main centrepoint. Brahim is an absolute gem of a host. Rooms are super clean. Has a lovely showroom which was a bonus as we had to move from a very bad riad and the breakfast was lovely every morning. Will definitely return in 2025 possibly January and for my birthday in June. Would never have to look for another riad again (very seasoned Marrakech traveller)

Excellent central location. Super clean. Cleaning done every morning. Lovely bathroom. Excellent service and lovely host. Cannot fault this riad after having done so many in the past

Nella camera c’é solo una luce fioca e noi abbiamo avuto difficoltà nel fare tutto.

Great experience and immersed in Moroccan culture and food.

Run and managed by local who would give us a frank perspective of Marrakech, Morocco. Well recommended places To go and see and eat.

Small rooms for three of us, We were Under the impression that we would have a hot tub for some reason I. Our room and extra toilet but the manager explained this may have been something put in by mistake. However, Despite that we felt looked after and safe and that is important.

Good location but disappointing stay

The location of the property is very good. Nice walk towards the souks.

As soon as we arrived they said we would have to pay 5€ extra per person for breakfast even though it was included. Apparently they only serve the included breakfast from 8:30am and we asked for it at 8:15am due to our flight. In the end we saw they served breakfast to all guests from 7:30am so it was really a way to try and make more money. Seemed quite dishonest. The acoustics of the rooms is also bad…you can hear everything going on in the courtyard as well as other rooms. And lastly it’s a smoking hotel and it seems to seep into all the rooms when someone is smoking.

perfectly fine if you are looking for something cheaper and not long stay

It is very good location and slightly cheaper than most other riads. The staff were welcoming and good communication. The breakfast was served fast in the morning and was good variety.

the rooms are tiny and the ones in the courtyard on ground floor don’t really get much fresh air and are bit noisy.

Nice stuff and great location very close to the city !

I don't know if this happening to every riad but the room were very close and you could hear everybody . Last morning we woke up from 6 in the morning because some people had hairdryer and they were talking to each other. Also it was a bit dark .. the lights were so low.

I like that they always make up our rooms. And it smells clean all the time. It was also very close to the market. The staff are also very friendly and helpful.

Only the internet connection was very poor.

The location was perfect once we had oriented ourselves. Although initially we thought the alleyway was a bit dark! But it's fine. The people are very nice at the Riad and extremely helpful. The shower was clean and powerful !! Always brought us tea when we asked!

The room was much smaller than expected. Very dark (to keep out heat I expect), and not particularly comfortable, but that is a personal opinion! The breakfast is good, but it is the same every day! Unfortunately I fell down the stairs, and there are a lot of stairs. I was fine in thr end with an egg-sized bump on my head. We travelled in Feb so the weather was cold, we ended up buying extra layers! We had a Guide booked for a half day. Just be aware of the usual, you will get taken to places to buy things whether you like it or not! The carpet Cooperative was good, but the beauty place we went to was a rip-off! Watch out for everyone trying to sell you Argan Oil! Thr problem with these situations is you feel you should buy something and if you don't some vendors get quite upset. We experienced that a few times.

Wifi didnt work some times, but usually you buy a SIM card that provides you with more than enoght internet.

perfect location for a great nights sleep ☺️

Being just slightly further away from the hustle and bustle it was quieter but still close enough to explore. All of the staff were amazing and friendly and super helpful. The roof terrace was perfect for the sunshine and the local cat super friendly. The bed was the best we’d slept in in Marrakesh.

The light in the room was a tad dim but that’s me being super picky.

Great stay at Dar Al Hamra - Recommend!

Had a great stay at Dar Al Hamra which was very comfortable in a brilliant location. The facilities were great (especially the shower) and Ibrahim was really helpful throughout. Dar Al Hamra is in walking distance from a number of landmarks which is great to see things

Lovely homely hotel with staff that go above and beyond to help their guests. Nabil even set up Shisha for us on the rooftop and we had a great chat with him. great location, 10 mins from the main square and 2 from busy markets, yet the hotel itself is in a quiet side street. would absolutely recommend

Good location - central but quiet. Nice rooms and friendly staff. good breakfast (although same every day)

Easy to hear noise from other guests - thin doors and faced shared space. Didn’t take cards so had to pay in cash. And no sign of many of the facilities claimed - certainly no spa, hamman, wellness centre, currency exchange or even an iron!
