Good and comfortable place to rest. Bad staff communication and welcome and poor breakfast.

Room comfortable. The place is quiet so it’s good to rest if you looking that.

No staff welcome at reception. Self check-in in my experience. Little difficulty to get in touch with them by app (no one answered my messages and I hd to contact booking customer support after waiting almost 45min at the reception). Breakfast very poor: the person who contacted me by phone said to feel free to rake anything from kitchen in the morning for breakfast once no one again will be there to help and serve the breakfast. Again, self service with breakfast but little hard to find something to eat there (I had to take a simple bread and sour cream from fridge to serve my self for breakfast only)

Eher eine Jugendherberge als ein Hotel

Personal war sehr hilfsbereit

Leider war die Dusche nicht sauber und auf dem Boden waren alte Haare verteilt. Zudem wurde uns vormittags noch angeboten im Hotel zu Abend zu essen. Bei Ankunft hieß es dann, dass gar kein Abendessen mehr angeboten wird. Das nächstgelegene Restaurant ist ca 15 Autominuten entfernt, schließt allerdings auch um 21 Uhr.

Our room was nice and the breakfast was absolutely great

The breakfast was great! The staff was kind and smiling and the location is very good because we were travalling all the way to Þistilfjörður. Thank you so much, we will be back :)

Great little place

Perfect location between Húsavík and Ásbyrgi - Great place to start the day when you are planning on exploring Jökulsárgljúfur. I was there in June, and the sound of nature outside the window was amazing, hearing all the birds and the wind and no people. Great.

Just beautiful

Nice, clean and roomy. Also property manager Jose was exceptional. Breakfast in the morning and everyone was friendly. Love this place hidden gem. I would stay there again and again.

In general the hotel is nice and well located if you travel by car. It's close to the road and to some attractions in the North of Iceland. The room was clean with nice view and there was a lovely terrace.

We got room No 13 that didn't have a door in the bathroom, this is rather weird and improper... We arrived late in the evening and our reservation was already paid, so we didn't have many option to change the accommodation, considering that there are no so many hotels in that area. When we reached the reception personnel we were informed that they are not aware of this issue, but it's ridiculous, how can it happen that no one knows that there is no door? Someone cleaned the room before our arrival and of course noticed it, door is not a towel or a glass. For sure it might happen that the door was damaged since it is made of glass, but guests should be informed about it in order to make a decision if we still want to stay in such conditions. Moreover there is a mirror in front of the bathroom, so when there is no door, do you want it or no, you will see the person in the bathroom. We are friends, so it was not a plan to observe each other in the toilet. We were offered free breakfast, that was fine, but if we knew that we will have to stay in such conditions, we will not book this hotel of course.

A nice place to rest and sleep on a road trip.

Everything was fine. The rooms and bathrooms were clean, modern and fully equiped. Breakfast was not lavish with quality or variety but it was good enough. Good sleeping material. Plenty of parking. Quiet surroundings.

Welcoming and homely atmosphere, would love to come back!

I loved it here, I 100% recommend a stay and would come back if I could!! The staff was exceptionally kind, helpful and welcoming. The rooms were cozy and clean, the hotel itself is super pretty and had a homely atmosphere. Breakfast was simple but great, we had anything we could wish for! My friend and I arrived very late cause we were doing a road trip around the coast, and we really appreciated the late check-in that was arranged for us. We walked around the hotel at midnight and saw a wonderful sunset. Thanks for having us, it felt like home!!

Flexible check in

Beds were very uncomfortable and bouncy. We thought we might fall off of them when rolling over to another side. Breakfast was also bad, no warm dish, only basic cereal and scarce sandwich toppings.

A comfortable respite

The property was well cared for and conveniently located along our road-trip. Dinner was offered and consisted of fresh, locally sourced ingredients.

We enjoyed a very filling lamb dinner - very tasty. Our Finnish waiter was quite friendly. The breakfast was adequate.

Not again despite of the cooker

The lady cooker ...she saved our night with à Nice pasta bolognesa as It has been said that a resto would be available but in fact Not.

Very good

The hotel is in a remote area, which was nice because it was quiet. We liked the place :) we were also the only people staying in the hotel as it wasn't officially open yet, therefore we were grateful the owners accommodated us :)

Exceptional

Host and her pancakes are awesome! Nice quite place in 30 mins drive from Husavik. Very cozy interior and pretty outside views. 100% recommending this place to stay.

The staff was super friendly, the dinner and breakfast served in their restaurant were delicious, and the bed was comfortable. The location is pretty, quiet, and relatively remote.

I was asking about big double bed and I get information by booking my request will be provide. When I came to the rome I saw two single beds. Also temperature in the room was quite low.
