Das Hotel wird mir in guter Erinnerung bleiben.

Wir mussten zweimal früh aufstehen, so dass wir nicht in den Genuss eines Frühstücks kamen. Es wurde uns als Ersatz ein Fresspäckli mitgegeben, dass etwas mager ausfiel. Jedoch besser als gar nichts :;-).

Für chilenische Verhältnisse schon recht teuer, auch wenn es ein toll eingerichtetes Boutique-Hotel ist.

The Perfect Stay in Punta Arenas

The location of the hotel is perched up on the hill overlooking everything with a beautiful view. The staff is incredible. Valentina was so hospitable in welcoming us and helping us settle in. The staff was incredibly flexible and accommodating, and they were so helpful with even the simplest of requests. The rooms are gorgeous, clean, and cozy. The restaurant on-site is one of the best places we have eaten in all of Chile and Argentina. You can’t go wrong with this stay!

A very iconic place. Each room styled differently. I had the “blacksmith” el herrero. The restaurant on site probably is one of the best in Patagonia

Exceptional

What a beautiful, cleverly designed boutique hotel. We loved the history, the reclaimed materials, the warm welcome. At the restaurant attached we had one of the finest meals we ate during weeks in South America. Excellent breakfast included.

Not a thing. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Extraordinary service from Valentina and her team, they were wonderful - caring, knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. The restaurant is a star above, delicious and extensive menu, best views in the city. A real delight!

Lovely hotel with delicious restaurant

The staff were very nice at this hotel. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated and the restaurant food is incredible we went there twice. The rooms are well kept and very spacious. We stayed here both times we came through Punta Arenas on our trip. 10/10

Absolutely lovely wrap to our Chilean travels

lots of character, stylish and fun. lovely balcony and breakfast/dining room views out over the city. beds very comfortable and even on 3rd floor great water pressure. while no elevator, your luggage moved by dumb waiter- easy peasy! great about arranging airport transport (transport not included in price)

Had a terrific stay, would stay there again in a heartbeat.

The breakfast was tasty and filling and the coffee excellent. Wonderful expansive view of the bay from the dining area. The service was exceptional.

La Yegua Loca made my stay in Punta Arenas top-notch.

The breakfast was very tasty. The view of the bay and Punta Arenas from the dining area is unbeatable. The staff is welcoming and helpful. Their suggestion of La Marmita as a dinner option was spot-on. I'd definitely stay again.

Superb

Charming and beautiful old hotel, with excellent views of the water. Our room was large and comfortable, and meals were delicious. Very friendly and professional staff.

Expensive. It’s an old house, so our room didn’t have good insulation from sound coming from the hallway and rooms upstairs.

The staff is absolutely top notch. They were beyond helpful. the property is unique and well maintained. It is also very close to everything Punta Arenas has to offer.

There is nothing not to like about La Yegua Loca.

A Must Stay - La Yegua Loca

Do not miss out on staying at La Yegua Loca. I stayed at another hotel in town for one night due to a tour, and I wished that I was back at La Yegua Loca. The hotel staff are helpful, friendly, and kind - they all operate from a place of love. The views are wonderful, the hotel rooms each have a different theme and decor (which are so cool), the balcony to observe the city and water are a wonderful touch, and the restaurant is exceptional. I will be back in Punta Arenas, and plan to return to La Yegua Loca. I highly recommend the hotel. One point to note, is that if you have issues with stairs, select another hotel. There are stairs to get to/from the street and most rooms. The staff help with lugage using ingenious "elevators" for the luggage.

very comfortable room and great hotel atmosphere and touch. bed and mattress are great for a good night of sleep very good breakfast :)

we were checking out at 11:00 and they called us to the room at 11:10 for us to speed up - unnecessary.

only the fact that they don’t serve breakfast outside of their time… I mean, if we are in Punta Arenas is because we have tour going on… and therefore ppl wakes up very early…

A hidden gem in Punta Arenas

A beautiful restored house turned into a boutique hotel with a restaurant that served excellent dinner and breakfast. The view from our room was amazing. the staff were all wonderful.
