Wonderfully unusual stay with lovely hosts!

No hay parking aunque puedes aparcar en los alrededores. Para ir a Sintra tienes 10 minutos andando por la carretera

Donc le séjour n'était pas ZEN contrairement à l'annonce sur booking. Très déçus.

Le studio était très bruyant du fait de la proximité de la route de Lisbonne et de l'importance du trafic. Cela sentait mauvais dans et à l'extérieur du logement ( proximité des toilettes du musée, logement ayant une mauvaise ventilation). Le logement est humide et vu l'odeur impossible d'ouvrir la porte-fenêtre. Le stationnement est seulement en bordure de cette route dangereuse. Dommage car le jardin est original et l'emplacement correct pour les visites à Sintra.

Me gustó el exterior zen, bonsai etc..

El baño horrible, sucio, con moho y lavabo deteriorado con mucha condensación y humedad.

An Oasis in Sintra

This unique hotel is an oasis in Sintra. We booked 2 days very last minute at the property and in addition to the hosts being very helpful and kind, the space was so special and it was so interesting to see so many bonsai's in one place. If you're in Sintra and looking for an escape, look no further than the Zen Bonsai Museum.

Very cool place to stay.

No breakfast was served. Property was in a bonsai tree garden with an adjacent museum. Koi ponds right in front of the room. There was free parking right in front of the gate to the place.

Tranquilidad

El museo de bonsái es increíble, la decoración, los peces, en general todo era precioso, y la recepcionista súper amable y simpática. La habitación también era muy bonita y estaba muy limpia.

Lo único es que me hubiera gustado que tuviera algo de cocina, al menos un microondas

Excelente lugar para desconectar.

La atención de los propietarios fue excelente,nos explicaron como ir a los sitios y donde aparcar, que nosotros pudimos aparcar en la misma puerta,hay sitios para aparcar sin problema gratis. Para ir al centro histórico es andando unos 20 min, pero en Bolt también podría ir y en sintra funcionan bastante bien y barato. Hay supermercados cerca como pingo doce y otros. El sitio es súper original y tranquilo,,repetiría sin dudarlo.

Por ponerle un pero,las almohadas no eran muy cómodas,por lo menos para mí.

El personal muy amable y cuidando mucho el detalle. El entorno es maravilloso y perfecto para desconectar.

Por decir algo, el sofá. Era bastante incómodo ya que te hincabas los muelles en la espalda. Pero la verdad lo usamos poco.

Ducha sin agua caliente

La habitación era muy bonita estilo a una casita de Japón, con una pequeña zona para calentar en el Microhondas y poder comer. Tenía una pequeña terraza donde ves el patio con los peces muy bonita y otra terracita pequeña, en la entrada, con sillas y mesas para comer en ambas. Hay mucha naturaleza al rededor así que a pesar de que la habitación esté limpia te puedes encontrar algún insecto visitante.

Esta en una cuesta arriba y hay que caminar un rato para llegar si quieres ir a pie y no esperar autobuses. Puedes encontrarte algún insecto en la habitación aunque esté limpia y no hay agua caliente en la ducha, a los 5 minutos el agua nos salió congelada y nos tuvimos que duchar así. La habitación tenía algunas humedades.

Un entorno idilico para parejas ....remanso de paz ...muy zen....y gente maravillosa

El trato del personal del hotel fue impecable...se portaron muy bien con nosotros ...fueron muy amables indicandonos como acceder a lugares de interes turistico y cultural y sitios muy buenos y económicos para comer....tambien tuvieron un detalle con mi pareja por su cumpleaños.....estuvimos muy agusto y lo pasamos genial ....esperamos poder repitirlo alguna vez!!!!

Wunderschöner Ruheort, nachdem wir in Sintra verschiedene Paläste angeschaut haben

Die Wohnung befindet sich oberhalb vom Bonsai Museum. Es war sehr groß und gemütlich. Parken konnte man hinter dem Gebäude, es gab jedes Mal freie Plätze. Generell wurde die Außenanlage wunderschön gestaltet. Man kann sich hier auf jeden Fall Zeit nehmen, um Fotos zu machen.

Die Heizung funktionierte an den ersten zwei Tagen halbwegs (sie ging später von selbst aus). Am dritten Tag sprang die Heizung überhaupt nicht mehr an. Sobald die Heizung nicht mehr funktionierte, wurde es im Zimmer spürbar kälter. Im Badezimmer roch es am Morgen unangenehm (Wir wissen aber nicht, woher das Geruch kam).

Ubicación

Pésimo, en todos los sentidos. La recepción era una nave industrial sucia, llena de plantas, por la que accedías a las habitaciones, todo rodeado por estanques con peces. Olor a humedad insoportable en la habitación, que impedía hasta dormir. Costaba hasta respirar adecuadamente de la cantidad de humedad que había en la habitacion. Limpieza muy deficiente, con toallas rotas e incluso moho en el baño, además contábamos con algunas babosas por el mismo. Parking inexistente: era la calle de atrás. El peor alojamiento sin duda en el que hemos estado, pagando 100€ la noche.

Muito bom!

Espetacular o espaço, acho que deve ser o unico em Portugal, que tem o Museu juntamente com alojamento e principalmente na serra de Sintra. Localização boa para os locais que nós fomos. Com esta ida ao alojamento, obviamente fomos ao "Museu" e obrigatoriamente tivemos que levar um Bonsai. Sr. Carlos super prestável e simpático, explicou-nos a base e como tratar os bonsais.

Pontos menos bons, no alojamento havia candeeiros sem abajur, cilicones wc pretos, alguns promenores, mas q nada intreferisse na estadia.

Per dormir i prou.

El servei prou servicial. Es pot aparcar al carrer i esta a 25min a peu del centre historic. La habitacio esta neta i hi ha detalls com cafetera, terrasseta,..

El preu, tot i que es en linia amb el que es pot trobar a Sintra, no s'ho val. El llit no es comode. Bonys al matalas i sorollets del somier. No es pot vendre com una experiencia zen si esta en un garden center a tocar de una carretera molt transitada, escoltes les habitacions del costat, la nevera fa soroll,.. L'aigua calenta s'acaba si no ets matiner. Les instalacions que ofereixen son dificilment aprofitables.

Overall a great choice. Staff was attentive and friendly. Unique, One of a kind place. Worth staying

The Bonsai grounds were very nice and a different experience then boring hotel apartments. Very elegant interior, marble spiral staircase, full functioning kitchen.

The bathroom was kind of tight on space. Actually have to sit down cock eyed on toilet due to the vanity/sink being placed three inches away from toilet. Shower was nice and hot(maybe too much so) as it was difficult to regulate temperature. If it were my property I would place the sink directly into the wall and skip the cabinent under it for more leg room.

Mooie kamer, hartelijk ontvangst, bijzondere omgeving door de boompjes, op loopafstand van het centrum, goede bedden en heerlijke douche
