A perfect location of a short family break by the sea.

It is a perfect location for a short stay in Paignton. Alan and Gemma were very welcoming and provided good local knowledge. We had a wonderful view of the seafront from our room and breakfast was well presented. Thank you for a lovely weekend!

The property is a little dated in its presentation and would benefit from being decorated to a more modern standard, but that said it was very clean and well kept.

The location made up for any issues, it was superb.

Breakfast OK. Didn't like having to order in advance, prefer to order at table, easier to vary without causing a problem. They were lovely people but I didn't want to add to their stress. View from room was wonderful. Very close to beach, which was excellent. Bed comfy. Owners very pleasant.

Room cramped. No comfortable chair to sit and admire the view, just a hard one. Shower room TINY, difficult to use facilities, all jammed in too small a space. Kettle lid was broken. No decaff in room. Hotel in desperate need of updating, rather dreary and shabby.

Great hosts and ideal location, rooms a little dated but that didn't bother us as they were very clean and tidy.

Weather was great.

Location and parking, Alan and Trish were very friendly and informative and helpful, nothing was too much trouble.

In my opinion only, the kettle was dangerous as the flex was not long enough so once boiled was difficult to unplug and pour, four cups and saucers and kettle balanced on a small shelf. Lighting in bedroom very dim and on stairs, overall a bit tired.

Very lovely, great value for money.

Fantastic hotel run by a lovely friendly couple. Breakfast was delicious, nothing was too much trouble. Was lovely Alan takes the time to speak with the guests. Would highly recommend and would certainly stay again!

Nothing to report here. Some people may get inpatient how long the hot water takes to come through, but it's a big old place, so patience required, it gets there eventually.

Perfect location

The room we booked was classed as a Superior Double. But it was just a basic double with the tiniest onsuite shower room. I'm only small but i struggled to find the room to dry myself in the end we had to come out of there to be able to get dried.
