Einfache, saubere Unterkunft in guter Lage

Sehr nette Mitarbeiter, einfach eingerichtet aber sauber. Ca 5 Minuten zum Strand und Fusläufig sind auch einige Restaurants zu erreichen. Pool sauber und auch die Preise für Wäsche und in Restaurant sind absolut in Ordnung.

Boden etwas schmierig, Zwischendurch riecht es sehr nach Kloake, das ist aber ein häufigeres Problem auf der Insel, Betten leider auch sehr unbequem aber auch das ist in Thailand fast überall so.

Loved the service, basic room

The People that work at The Morakot are amazing. Very kind and helpfull.

The room smelled a bit moldy. The swimming pool left green stains on our bathing clothes.

Can’t wait to come back

The location is great, there’s loads around it but you’re also not in the slightly more run down tourist area. Long beach is across the road. The family that run it are lovely- you can book tours and rent scooters from them. The pool is clean and big and pool towels are provided.

Nothing- would stay again.

Better hotels in koh lanta

Good location and staff helpful.

I cannot give a detailed review as we left as soon as we seen the room. We had a ground floor, pool access room but it was covered in bugs and was generally unclean. The bed was rock hard aswell.

Very good

Morakot Lanta Resort is a place where you can find great services for a reasonable price. The resort is located perfectly - both close to the picturesque Long Beach and to the "main street" with many restaurants and other important facilities, yet in a very quiet area surrounded by forrest. Outside pool is also a big plus. When it comes to the hotel itself, rooms are quite modest, but very clean and equipped with all the necessities. Bed is rather firmer, but definitely comfortable and small patio is also an advantage. There is a space for improvement for sure - e.g. AC shouldn't be placed right above the bed, and small lamps next to the bed are missing (lighting of the room is a bit strong), so something softer would be appreciated. The hotel staff truly cares about your comfort and they go above and beyond to meet your needs, everyone was really kind and attentive. Overall, I am very satisfied with my stay here and I would highly recommend it.

Love it here!! My second home!

Everything! The staff, the pool, the air con, the large fridge, the balcony and view, the garden, the poolside bar. The location of the hotel is excellent too... few mins walk from supermarket, ATM, water machine, bars and restaurants. (Papaya, Papillon and Weena are all excellent!) Beach is only 10 mins walk. The hotel also organized a tuk tuk for us when needed. Super helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The owner in particular is excellent and speaks very good English :)

Beds are hard and showers are Thai style (very low pressure) but both things very normal for Thailand.

A pleasant hotel and pool in a good location for a fun holiday on Koh Lanta

Comfortable room, with useful extra such as hairdryer, kettle, black-out curtains, and large fridge-freezer. Good airconditioning and hot shower. Lovely pool and sunbathing area. Helpful staff. Useful travel desk for scooter hire and taxi/boat bookings. Quiet environment yet close to main road, beach, mini-markets, and tourist facilities (restaurants, bars etc). You do need a scooter to make the most of your stay on Koh Lanta - Part of the fun of your trip!

Nice cleaning staff but they can be rather noisy in the mornings if you are a lazy tourist like me and want to have a lie in! Bottles of water are provided every day, but it would be really great if this was changed to a free water dispenser on each floor for filling up your own bottles, in order to cut down on plastic waste (and expense for the hotel).

There's a really nice swimming pool. It's clean and quiet. The family that run it we're very friendly and welcoming.

Great location back off the main road ..nice and quiet. Pool was awesome and the owners are super friendly and helpful. Also rented a scooter from them so made our orig 3 day visit into a week stay..Lovely!

We loved the place..nothing bad to say at all!
