Amazing hotel!!!

When we checked in, Lyn showed us to our room on the 5th floor. We stay at ADM during our last week of our vacation to Europe. Therefore I spurged on the room. The room Lyn showed us was not the room I had requested when I made my reservation back in Aug. Lyn was amazing and quickly turned the rooms around so that we had the room I had wanted. We were very pleased and enjoyed the hot tub and the views for our 6 night stay.

Comfortable hotel with great views however beware of shower!

Comfortable room with a comfortable bed. Coffee and tea maker in the room. Good breakfast with fabulous views of the lake from the breakfast room. Despite below I would recommend this hotel for comfort and beautiful views.

I had a problem with the shower during my stay. At home or in any other hotel in fact I would put the shower on before getting in to make sure of the temperature of the water. I did this and the water shot out of the door all over the floor and me and in trying to turn the shower off quickly I slipped and bruised my foot and leg quite badly. I informed reception on checking out and they were less than sympathetic. Apparently in Switzerland this is not a normal thing to do. Swiss people would get in the shower, take the shower head off its stand and test the water with their hand - who knew! Firstly the shower cubicle was small so it would be difficult to do this without getting some water possibly too hot or cold on you and secondly if this is the procedure in Switzerland instructions should be provided so that unwitting foreigners like me don’t come a cropper! I was annoyed that the hotel did not take responsibility for the shower issue. I was offered my room service fee on breakfast to be taken off the bill and then very begrudgingly the city tax and the chocolate bars and one Coca Cola from the mini bar to be taken off the bill. How generous!

We would go back on a returm trip to Lucerne.

The restaurant and the view, decor and the room

There was no airconditioning in the main reception. The beach bar was unsure whether it was a smart cocktail bar or a causal relaxing place to sunbathe

Amazing

Breathtaking views from my terrace. Beautiful and spacious room. Top notch service with quality room products. This hotel has an amazing Michelin star restaurant that exceeded my expectations. Will definitely stay here again.

Very beautiful, restored architectural hotel close to city and Lake Lucerne; great food and staff

Beautiful restored architecture; funicular right out the door of hotel to the Main Street/waterfront The rooms are extremely plush and comphy

Poor staffing/ attitudes/ space/ value for money.

Breakfast good

Staff. Information. Knowledge. Room size. Storage. Staff attitudes and arguing against their own information. Inaccurate - penthouse means top floor. In the Montana it means top 2 floors!!!

Rather disappointing

The location and view are very good.

The hotel is not a five-star (wrongly indicated here on Booking.com); it's a four-star rating. The room, even though generally well cleaned (exception in the photo), was noisy and hard to regulate the temperature. The bed was somewhat small and the pillows hard to find a good way to use them. All in all, a very poor night of sleep.

Wonderfully located but the service wasn’t up to par.

The breakfast location was superb but over priced.

We were shocked as we checked and in the man at the front desk informed us we would have to pay the first night in advance.

The view is perfect.

Old Hotel and small rooms and you can’t open the window and set comfortable in the terras because there are mosquitoes.

I like the details and decorations in the place, but I didn’t liked the insect out side the place, we were taking room with jakozi and i didn’t try it only one time because of the insects ans mosquitoes. The staff was so cooperating, the restaurant was soo yummy food 🤤, I enjoyed my time there and i wish that we spent more time. I keep a message about our opinions in montana up the table inside the room.

no fitness facility, balconies were not very clean and surprisingly full with flies and bees.
