Great spot for young travelers to meet new people and have fun

The location is perfect—close to the beach and tram station. The staff is great. The bed was comfortable. The Wi-Fi was fast. There is a swimming pool and a bar. Also, if you need something, the staff will help. Breakfast was a big plus. Birds around asking for food were cute. In general, I was satisfied with my stay.

Minor things for consideration. There is an issue with electricity plugs in the rooms. One is at the back window, another - up on the all in the middle of the room. Extension cords would be a plus for others to use the plug because if you're at the front window, you can't use it. If the person moves on the upper bed, the entire bed shakes (as happened with me - the dude on the top was moving every minute). Another issue is cleanliness. The staff cleans everything, but tenants sometimes keep dirty dishes in the sink. Also, clogged zink pipes in the rooms are an issue - should be taken care of to make the water flow easily. It can be done manually (unscrew the bottom under the sink and clean the nasty hair clogs) or using special chemicals.

Fantastico!

Ostello bellissimo, molto pulito e con piscina, staff eccezionale! Ambiente molto familiare, lo staff organizza anche eventi durante la settimana come barbecue, nachos&beers e tornei di pallavolo!! Hanno un bar che vende drink economici ed è molto vicino alla spiaggia. Consigliatissimo!!

Lo mejor del hostel es la ubicación, queda cerca más o menos de todo y esta a 5 minutos caminando de la playa. Staff simpático!

Una esplanada de cemento al sol en la que tienes que comer y cenar, hace demasiado calor, las habitaciones sucias, estuve dos semanas nadie me ofreció cambiar las sabanas. Durante los últimos días me levanté lleno de picotazos, por todo el cuerpo. Miro en el colchón y había chinches, voy a comentarlo a recepción y me dicen que nos cambian a todos de habitación, hasta aquí todo OK. La chica que estaba en recepción, tras solicitarle que me reembolsase parte de la estancia, me dice que las chinches las he traído yo de la playa (perdón?) que no debería haber ido a la playa. Esto obviamente no es cierto, ya que durante los primeros días, esto le paso a una chica que estaba en la habitación… en fin muy caro y muy malo. La cocina no la han limpiado a fondo en años solo hay que mirar la campana. A parte de todo esto tiraron mi comida de la nevera siendo que estaba etiquetada y escrito en la propia bolsa con rotulador mi nombre y fecha de check out… La respuesta de la misma recepcionista fue… I’m sorry… en fin una perdida de dinero. Hay hostels mas baratos o de igual precio en Golf Coast, que le dan 1000 vueltas.

Would stay here again if I was at surfers Paradise

The staff were great, really getting involved with creating a good atmosphere, something on every night, this is one of my favourite hostels in Australia due to the people at the Same in there and however everyone was really involved and socialising, nice pool kitchen and good size rooms

Not convenient

The room was big. The bed was big.

Smells bad. Sockets are not enough and too far. Bathrooms are dirty. Some staffs are not friendly.

Buenas vibras, buena atención, poco cuidado en las habitaciones

La buena onda de la gente. El trato del personal y los eventos que organizaban. Tienen, además, una zona de recreación muy atractiva.

La habitación donde nos quedamos no tenía lockers y solo 4 enchufes para las 6 personas que eramos. Además estos enchufes estaban solamente en una pared, por lo que no quedaba cómodo.

Pire qualité prix que l’on ait vu sur toute la côte Est australienne - je déconseille

Le petit déjeuner compris dans le prix La proximité du tram Chouette ambiance le soir

- Rapport qualité / prix: super cher - Caution à donner uniquement en cash pour la clef & les essuies (aucun ATM à proximité, celui de la pompe à essence était cassé, on a dû marcher énormément pour en trouver un) - Hostel très bruyant (réveillés en pleine nuit par des cris et gens saouls) - Pas super propre / chambre sent les pieds - On doit ramener toute la literie nous-mêmes pour le check-out (couette, tous les draps, essuies,…) - Installations vétustes

Do not recommend

Staff was friendly

One night music was playing till 10pm, another they stopped it only about 10.30pm. It is very loud, also they wrote that they have free laundry but thay don’t. There were not curtains for beds.

Very good

It's a nice hostel to make friends all over the world. Staff are also nice and helpful!

Toilet needs to be clean better! However it seems fair with the rent!

overall disappointing regarding the lack of communication from management or false information from management regarding

other guests I met were nice ladies who checked me in were nice .

Very disappointing yes I’m 44 year old and I respect there is an age limit but both myself and a hospital employee were told they were quite happy to accept a booking for 3 days arrive to check in to be told I could only stay the one night and check out at 10 am that was the most disappointing thing about the whole experience

Disappointing

The accommodation had a very good location. 5 minutes walk from the beach. Nice staff.

Cockroach in the flat. Table was not usable despite cleaning.

Loved mixing with the multi cultural group.

The six-bed dorm needed a chair. For those with the top bunk there was nowhere to sit except to climb up onto your top bunk. (It would be rude to sit on someone else’s bed on the bottom). That’s a minor point. Overall the stay was great. Actually though, I should mention that I had to argue to be allowed to stay - too old they said! I can tell you my age absolutely was not an issue, and another lady in the dorm was nearly 60yrs too. We both fitted just fine with the four young ones.
