La piscine, la salle de sport, la proximité des commerces, restaurants et du terminal des bus permettant d’utiliser les transports en commun aisément pour parcourir toute l’île
Le personnel est au petit soin et très compétent
C’est propre, bien équipé et spacieux.
La literie est de qualité surtout les coussins
Les portes des appartements n’ont pas de groom. Elles sont lourdes et en métal donc le claquement peut être très bruyant
Les clients sans gêne, bruyant et irrespectueux des autres clients c’est navrant mais cela n’incombe pas à l’hôtel.

We only stayed for two nights which was probably not long enough for this kind of hotel as it was an apartment. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was well located and just a 5 minute walk to plenty of places to eat and drink. We had a nice clean room and a good sized bathroom. The kitchen area was very well equipped and included a washing machine. The roof terrace with a swimming pool was very nice with plenty of sunloungers and even a common area inside next to a covered balcony. I would recommend walking towards the abandoned hotel as there were plenty of lovely places to swim in the sea around there, something we didn‘t see in time for our short stay.
It was stated when we booked this room that the balcony overlooked the next buildings walls and rooftops, so just be aware that you look for this when booking, it was fine for us as we only stayed two days and we sat on the roof terrace when we could. Despite the weather being incredibly hot and humid, even the pool was just too cold to enjoy it.

Wow, what can we say? We had an absolutely fantastic experience from the offset.
After first making the initial booking, we had some questions but we sent in via the Booking.com portal. These were answered very quickly and efficiently.
Prior to going on our stay, I contacted Portside Lodge directly as I wanted to surprise my wife with some flowers and a bottle of bubbly in the room as we were celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary.
Again the communication was fantastic and Aislynn who dealt with me was excellent and nothing was too much trouble.
When we arrived, we were welcomed by Maria on reception who seemed as excited about the fact there were flowers and a bottle of bubbly waiting in the room as I was.
Facilities in the room were absolutely brilliant and more than sufficient for our stay.
All members of staff were polite and helpful, especially Maria who on more than one occasion save us some money by ordering taxis on our behalf and Aislynn prior to our visit.
There was nothing we didn’t like about the property.

La vue du rooftop est incroyable.
Emplacement stratégique près des supermarchés et restaurant. A 15min à pied des plages.
Les réceptionnistes sont très accueillants et professionnels. Merci à eux.
Pas de service de nettoyage, on se croirait plus dans un Airbnb que dans un hôtel qui est censé donné un service de nettoyage de chambre mais visiblement ce n’est pas le cas.
Vraiment nous avons été déçu de ce point de vue.
La piscine est plus petite que ce que nous imaginons.
Il y’a peu d’équipement pour la salle de sport.

Dzīvoklis kas aprīkots ar visu nepieciešamo, lai ģimene nedēļu spētu šeit izdzīvot. Kondicionieris kā viesistabā, tā guļamistabā, balkons, ēdamgalds, dīvāns, smartTV un labs, ātra WiFi. Bet galvenais pluss - baseins uz jumta kur vienmēr bija brīvi daži krēsli, vienmēr atradām kur sauļoties. Viesnīca atradās Marsaskalas pašā centrā, kādas 20-30 min no Valletas centra. Zem viesnīcas bija apakšzemes stāvvieta, tuvumā daudz veikali.
Skats no balkona mūsu numuram nebija labs. Baseina zonā nekad nebija neviena darbinieka, un brīžiem cilvēki pie baseina izvedās necienot citus - leca baseinā, šļakstijās un gulēja uz malām tā itkā viņi tur bija vienīgie. Prasītos pie baseina noteikumiem pievienot papildu noteikumus par aizliegumu smēķēt pie bērnu baseina un bērnu zonā, kā arī nelekt baseinā un negulēt uz malām.

It was definitely clean, felt like home. The staff was friendly and helpful.
The location was a bit far away from all the touristic attractions.

Verwarmt zwembad, parkeergarage onder de accomodatie (€5,- per dag). Mooi ruim appartement van alle gemakken voorzien. Aardig en behulpzaam personeel.
s'Nachts zeer gehorig (neem oordoppen mee). De buurt stelt niet heel veel voor en heeft niet veel te bieden.

Zelo prijazno osebje, čisto in lepo urejeno. Možnost najema parkirišča, kar je velik plus na Malti. Kuhinja ima številne pripomočke. Za Marsaskalo je odlična lokacija.

All the staff were super friendly, helpful & always available to assist. I love Marsaskala & the location is in the heart of the town with amazing views from the rooftop pool.
The only thing that could have been is if I could have stayed longer :)

Heel vriendelijk personeel en snelle communicatie, appartement van (bijna) alles voorzien en heel nieuw. Fijn bed en mooi terras met zwembad (helaas niet gebruikt omdat het wat te koud weer was). Parkeergarage onder complex met ruime plekken voor maar 5 euro per nacht.
Wij hebben niets gemist tijdens ons verblijf. Tip zou zijn dat een vaatwasmachine wel handig is. Was voor ons niet erg dat deze er niet was want we aten meestal buitenshuis.

Die Ausstattung der Wohnung, sehr sauber, sehr hochwertig und wirklich vollständig. Die Betten sind sehr bequem. Wir haben uns mit allem sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Läden in der Nähe.

nous avons trouvé que dans l’appartement il manque un aspirateur, pas de produits pour faire le ménage nous devons tout acheter..

The management and other staff members were very helpful to me .
I needed help to find a photographic studio to take passport photos. The manager went out of her way to assist me with a printed map .
I had an issue with the laundry machine ( excess detergent),and Becky and her crew assisted immediately and brought the situation under control.
Lastly, I was allowed to stay till evening (as my flight was8.30pm) even when I was supposed to check out at 10 am in the morning . Kudos to everyone in Portside Lodge. Thanks, and keep up the good work!

There was only one 3 seater sofa for a family of 6. We did not have gas supply for some hours during our stay.

Nowoczesny i komfortowy apartament, z wystarczającą przestrzenią do wygodnego i miłego spędzenia czasu. Piękny i przestronny taras z widokiem na port. Super basen na dachy (mały ale sympatyczny). Najbliższa okolica bardzo klimatyczna (restauracje, kawiarnie, port).
Obsługa bardzo miła i pomocna.

Świetna lokalizacja, w okolicy sklepy, restauracje ,bary oraz sklepy. Blisko przystanki autobusowe. Miejsce godne polecenia.
Wieczorem , w apartamencie było chłodno ale była to połowa listopada. Ogrzewanie elektryczne było wyłączone, najprawdopodobniej płatne ale nie sprawdzaliśmy tego.

Komfortowy hotel, apartament, wyposażenie kuchni i pokoji (bardzo wygodne łóżka). Na dachu basen, sklepy blisko... Dobra baza wypadowa aby zwiedzać wyspę. Polecam, miła obsługa :)

The pool is beautiful but it is not very clean actually. And the rooms are good and bright.
The kitchen is big but there's no salt or sugar inside at all. I think it is not reasonable if we should buy a large bag of salt for staying here just one week. Also, there are only 4 pcs of toilet paper for four people for a whole week! On the fifth day, we asked for some other pcs paper, the service told us it is self-service here which shows on the website that we didn't find it until now, and we should buy more by ourselves. I can't believe that. It is an expensive hotel, I think, in this city, which is far from Valletta or St. Julian. But we were told that in an expensive hotel, we should buy the toilet paper by ourselves in this (we four only have 4 small pcs paper for 8 days) case. That is why I think it is not worth.

Everything was above good! The flat contained absolutely everything needed for a longer stay (flat iron, drying rack, washing machine, kitchen supplies, oven, microwave) and more! The apartment itself is huge and beds are comfortable. Location is good, very near bus station and there are multiple stores in one minute distance from the hotel. Staff was amazing!
Nothing! Maybe could be s tiny bit ventilated before arrival, we did feel stuffed air but was soon gone. Also, would recommend putting up the mosquito nets.

Ubytováni bylo krásné a čisté. Velice prostorný apartmán s perfektním vybavením. Vše bylo jako nové, připadalo nám jako když před námi v apartmánu ještě nikdo nebydlel. Krásný výhled na kotviště lodí z terasy, která byla také velice prostorná. Na patře jsme měli bazén, u kterého jsme trávili dost času. Byl vždy čistý a upravený. Personál byl naprosto perfektní, vždy nám pomohli, když jsme cokoliv potřebovali (poradit, rezervaci a jiné). A to, že nám vyšli vstříc s pozdějším vyklizením pokoje byla jen třešnička na dortu. Do odletu jsme potom mohli strávit čas u bazénu. Byla to jedna z moc hezkých dovolených. Děkujeme 👍

Die Lage war toll. In der Nähe ist ein Supermarkt, viele Cafes, das Meer und die Promenade.
Das Bettsofa war sehr bequem, genügend Handtücher waren vorhanden und wir hatten einen Balkon und auf dem Dach einen Pool.
Sind eher Kleinigkeiten:
- kein Griff am Kühlschrank
- Müll musste man am Ende selbst rausbringen, sonst wird eine Taxe von 50€ verrechnet
- das Schild dazu ist nicht direkt sichtbar zur 50€-Taxe
- Steckdosen: Adapter dazu war da, hatte aber starken Wackelkontakt, wir mussten selbst einen neuen kaufen
- das Personal bestellte uns ein Taxi zum Flughafen, das aber nicht auftauchte und so mussten wir uns selbst darum kümmern

Der Pool ist Mega und es gibt eine super Aussicht!
Gym ist relativ neu und hochwertig ausgestattet!
In der Nähe diverse Supermärkte und Bars/Restaurants.
Unser Zimmer in der 1. Etage mit Blick auf den Hinterhof/ gegen andere Hauswände. Schöner Ausblick erst ab der 3. Etage. Insgesamt 6 Etagen.

Lovely apartment. Clean and reasonably quiet. Very well equipped with lots of space and nice balconies.
The rooftop pool area was great.
Very little to dislike really. Apartment cleaned once per 7 days (but that is made clear in the booking info). Some building nearby at the time of the visit, but far enough away to be of no concern.

Totally recommend! Very clean modern rooms, amazing rooftop pool with great views, nice and very helpful staff. Also there is a possibility of convenient transfer from and to the airport, which we appreciated a lot. We are lucky and glad that we chose Portside Lodge for our stay in Malta. Would definitely come back again!

A very pleasant stay in this wonderful location. The apartment is special, everything is new and cosy. Management and Reception are professional and customer oriented. I benefited from an apartment upgrade for one night at the initiative of the hotel, for which I thank them once again. I sincerely recommend the hotel!
