Central spot in Akureyri for our family of 5

Great central location for exploring North Central Iceland Host was very helpful in advance with tips and suggestions before we arrived Loved ease of parking and arrival/departure

Would have loved two full baths for our family of 5 but we made it work and all was clean/plenty of space

Very good

Great location in center of town with available parking. Roomy space for two people. Washer and Dryer were a big plus!

There is no microwave in the kitchen.

Great location, great amenities, great value!

Great location, close to the town center. The apartment was perfect for our family of three, with a separate bedroom and a sofa bed for our son. We had access to a washer and dryer directly from the apartment, of which we made good use. Highly recommend!

Not a good stay at all.

Close to centre of town.

-The bathroom was dirty and had sticky tape all over the floor. -very small opening to shower doors and you have to squeeze yourself to get to the shower. -Laundry room was very dirty and there were no laundry detergent to wash your clothes. -It was so messy with empty cleaning products bottles cluttered everywhere in the laundry room. -The apartment was so bright with no black out curtains in the living room when you have a child sleeping on the sofa bed.

Eh it was a place to stay. Too much street noise but thats not the owners fault. Magic cat was great

The mattress was terrific and having tv streaming a plus. There was a magic cat who somehow kept appearing inside the apartment.

The apartment wasn't the one I thought I was getting. I thought I was getting the one on the other side of the house. the one in the promo.For both days someone was drag racing trucks between 1 am and 4 am. too noisy. Floors were dirty especially the bathroom kitchen area. And the shower water goes everywhere if someone were overweight I don't think they would be able to get in the shower.

Beautiful house, good locatiion, could use better cleaning service.

Location, beautiful and good size house, laundry access.

It wasnt numbered (#4) so we were trying to open the wrong entrance to a different connecting unit. It wasnt well cleaned and there is nowhere in rhe bedrooms to put your luggage on except the floor. 1 of the beds had no sheets on it, the floor under beds are filthy, bathroom had hair on the floor and there was no bath rug to step on to while getting out of the shower which is a marble slippery floor. They could definitely improve their cleaning service. The link to the guide book wouldnt upload which made checking in very difficult as well.

Comfy and great location

Location was great, and you can park on site. The kitchen is well equipped (we didn't use it though). The beds are comfy, and the apartment is spacious and bright. There is a short walk to many activities in Akureyri, and the town swimming pool is just on the other side of the road - a big pluss there!

Location was great.

Shower floor leaked and flooded downstairs. Had to mop floor, obvious from condition this was not new Sent message to owner. Did not even get a response. Very disappointed.

Even though we saw pictures before, the house was a pleasant surprise. Very roomy for the 4 of us.

Excellent location just down the street from a public swimming pool (which we used twice) and an easy walk downhill to restaurants and the waterfront. The house was large. The kitchen was large and well equipped. We appreciated the 1 1/2 bathrooms and the laundry downstairs was very appreciated

not a complaint but you do hear some street noise because you are near a busy street

Disappointing

Despite promised, as shown in order description, two bathrooms there was only one bathroom combined with toilet and one more toilet but as mentioned without shower or bath. The bedrooms are very small especially one of three upstairs and absolutely without closets or shelfs to put or minimum to organize clothes.

Well stocked kitchen, extra bedding available in shared laundry, easy parking and TV set up. Location is great- it is very central to the area!

Exceptional

We were a family of 5 and we came for two nights. The house is very spacious and in an excellent location, a few minutes' walk from the main street. Private parking is available. Overall highly recommended.

Wonderful, clean and cost appartment

Clean, spacious, comfortable

The noise from the street (cars driving uphill, some apparently with some difficulty/noise) is the only thing that avoids it to be the really perfect place.

very good location with large rooms and a very comfortable stay

very central location and a 2 min walk from the local pool which is well worth a visit

some of the light switch plates were missing which made turning the lights on and off a little bit awkward

Good

The location right by pool and botanic was lovely. Down the hill to the retail street was also great. The bed was very comfy. The living space was plenty big and kitchen was good. There is a path that locals use to bypass the long walk around the block to school. It was unique and a little color of the locals. when we arrived there were no cooking pots. this was quickly resolved the next day.

The last night we stayed there local school boys decided to bang on the windows - we ignore them the first time the second time that did it they banged for longer and my husband took off after them. We know it was bored kids - but still jolted us.

This was the worst place I have ever stayed. Everything broke or was about to break.

Broken dishwasher, only one tiny pillow each, parking was not included (only 1 spot for 2 units), 40 out of 46 photos are for the upstairs unit which is not explained in the booking. Piece of crap.

Nice view, close to center. Lot of sleeping arrangements for larger group.
